Update Alissa 10am EST: A LOT of you are commenting that you can’t get Cheryl, the bench doesn’t have a build option. The answer is…it will. Just keep moving through the questline, when the questline prompts you to build it you will be able to. Until then…don’t worry your game isn’t broken. Just collect to unlock Glenda and have fun 🙂
Also, a number of questions about when phase 2 will start. Remember, you must complete ALL of The Beautiful People questline in order for it to start (it’s 10 parts). Once you complete that the next phase will start. (and nope, you don’t have to have Ida for it to start)
UPDATE BUNNY 135AM EST: Received following info from.TinyCo in regards to Lois going on date issue…
There is currently a bug where if a player has nerd squatters and can clear them with Mid Life Crisis Lois, we had to disable the date action to prevent a different very bad bug where players cannot get Lois out of the coffee shop.
To help alleviate this issue, we’ve changed the quest to read “Have someone join Peter on a Coffee Date” as any date with Handsome Peter should completes the quest, not specifically Lois.
So now you can send anyone to clear the task until issue is resolved.
UPDATE BUNNY 1245AM EST: Reports from TinyCo of crashing from iOS users linked to Facebook. They are looking into it, so hang tight.
Seeing an increase in reports of unable to send Lois on the Date with Peter. Try a few things first…
1: Make sure Lois is free (Characters will NOT show up for the Date option while in a task).
2: Make sure you are scrolled to Lois and not one of her other Costumes
3: Try to trigger it from the task pop up in the Menu list
4: Try to send her from the Coffee shop, if possible
If all methods tried and still no luck, Contact TinyCo from your game. We reported it already too and will update if hear anything back.

Week 2 of Valentine’s Day is now live! And it’s finally time for a Love Connection in Quahog!
As always more details as we go through them…BUT I just wanted to give a little disclaimer to Clammers on Android devices. There was a Google Play Store update earlier today. So make sure you’ve downloaded the newest version from the Play Store so you’ll get the latest update.

IMPORTANT: Cheryl is timed. Just like Ida. You’ll have 5 days to unlock once you repair her bench. So don’t touch the bench until you’re ready.

The Love Connection..Character Dates
You can now send characters on dates! This will also require you to repair the Morning Arousal Coffee (in the Event Area).
From here you can pick and choose characters to send on 4hr dates! Depending on how the date goes you can either heart Love Hearts, Hate Hearts, Clams or prizes!
We’ll have a full breakdown on just how-to send characters on dates, but basically you pick and choose from the available list and they’ll go on a date for 4hrs.
Once completed you’ll see just how they did. If it was a successful date you could win a prize!

The Perfume Sprayers have arrived in town as the new squatters for the event. They’ll walk around your town and the only way to clear them is through a character interaction.
Here’s who can clear them: Ida, Glenda & Arnold.
Each time you clear them it takes 2hrs and you can earn an item for Cheryl, Valentines or Clams!

Thing is…it is SPENDY trying to clear them all… so right now I am focused on the big prizes and some of the smaller ones. The rest, well… 24 Clams each to speed adds up fast over 50 and increasing possible options.

I think a few people had said on FGTQFS’s facebook that there’s a timer now for when the couples should be arriving in your towns? Alissa or Bunny, do you have it? anybody else have it also?… i don’t see it anywhere in my game.just wondering if its true or not because I totally think that would be really really helpful, well for me anyways lol 🙂

Hi! I’m trying to complete “My Funny Valentine Pt. 2,” but only Peter is showing up in the character choice box so I’m not able to select Lois for them to go on a date. After I choose Peter I get a message saying “All Characters are busy. Check back later.” However, I have characters (including Lois) that aren’t busy. Any idea what’s going on here?

see this is what I don’t get, at first Herbert did drop like maybe 2 or 3 handbags in a row!…&& also I got a lot more off Jerome.
so as soon as I hit 8 handbags, Herbert stopped dropping them all of a sudden and started dropping JUST the beer bottles.

I had the same issue but now Brian and Mayor West drop the handbags.. I hope you have enough time to collect them! When it was only Herbert and jerome.. I got 7 handbags in the first 2 days, then went 2.5 days without receiving a single handbag (sent jerome and Herbert 3x a day for a total of 6 chances a day). So thankfully for that update, I sent them all to work last night and both mayor west and brian gave me a handbag. I have 8 hours remaining and have all 4 working on it.. so there’s hope! Also, to finish achieving her she is fairly inexpensive.. it’s like 12 clams for the last 4 handbags so I can handle that if necessary!

I’ve been playing this game since the 3rd day it was in the App Store (I loved the game so much I quit playing tapped out because it wasn’t as fun or as generous with premium characters and what not) but anyway to my point this event has been the BEST event tinyco has revealed in my opinion. I’m thrilled that they listen to their fans and if they ever read this I hope they know that they’re appreciated! When realizing new things happened I immediately checked this site to get a break down (yall were fast) anyway like I said hands down my favorite event and hands down my favorite app! Thank you ladies for keeping us informed have a lovely evening!!

So disappointed that we can only do one date per location at a time. I had left all my characters free as I wanted to “couple” them all at the same time.
I also don’t like the hint/suggestions for couples. It should have been a “free for all”.

– So surprised by a level up! I haven’t seen that in forever!!
– got 2 more tasks for unlocking Ida (which is good ’cause I’m getting near the date)
– looks like the “dates” are predetermined. pooh. I kinda wanted to randomly hook people up. oh well…
– also noticed a “Romantic Thoroughfare” available for repair – FOR 200 CLAMS!! not that I have the cash for that but I’d like a *little* more info before I blindly dump that.

hard close your google play store and restart your device. Sometimes that helps it appear. But if the update is working for you I wouldnt worry too much

Ida is easier to unlock! beer bottle overlap negated by new mayor west launch cats and…somebody else got a new task as well to produce handbags (brian, Brag about writing I think). No idea why I can even still make beer bottles unless they plan on adding more recipes to the brewery. I have 23 and counting but can only use 20 of them until all bottle recipes are gone

I just got the update. I’m not going to repair the two items yet until I hear what they are going to unlock and if they are timed. I’ve had trouble with timing before…
I’m glad the next Valentine heart items are unlocked. A little confused how many hearts I need to get the love prize (koolaid man’s girlfriend). It says 200 for love and 100 for hate, but that can’t be right.

Cannot send Lois on date with peter to do request. Peter is in the restaurant but Lois is not on option. Not in her questline or is her character choose able in the date screen option. Help Peter is waiting and getting grumpy. Lol

I guess I am the only one with Lois missing as a date option. Updated, Force restarted 2 times. She still has no option to go or a coffee mug in her menu. Still waiting on TinyCo. Frustrated. Can’t send another player in her staid cause it might mess up game. Am I the only one with this issue????? Playing on Android Samsung Mini.
She has fawn over and Passive Aggressive Pillow also about task for the Cookie store . But no go on coffee date? So frustrated.

No tried everything. Went ahead and put all the characters to task except her. Was able to unclick peter from coffee shop gave him a task. The only character without a task was lois. When I went to the Coffee shop screen it said no characters avail that they were all busy— even though Lois was free. Gave her a 1 min task thinking maybe when she completed the one minute task it would reset her when complete. Nothing. He Task bar does not have the activity to go for coffee. No cup Nada. Gave up a few minutes ago and sent her on a task to help Ida.
Still waiting to hear from TinyCo left several message of different types of attempts.
Can I send another couple in the mean time? Will it mess up the task cue. Don’t want to leave the task open when maybe I could put others through. Or since it suppose to be Peter and Lois the first time will it mess with game storyline?
