So, I finally called off the Borg Bertram fight to focus on the questlines. I’ve gotten everything that is available minus a few of TOS premiums, and I finally got my flaming red shirt! Just gonna focus on finishong the quests and farming the Borg cube for clams the rest of the week. Absolutely loved this event, but definitely ready to move on!

I still have an abundance of excess materials (22,000+ crystals, 346 yellow, 21 green, 124 blue, 247 orange & 67 dark matter) left but am afraid to waste it on duplicates if new items become available. Do you think its safe to say this is it? Or should i hold off until Thursday?

Hey, I wanted to ask, what’s the best way to get synthesizer ore fast? I’m 14 short from the gold Bertram statue and after all the hard work, staying up late, sneaking on the phone in middle of the lesson and spending some clams to obtain enough dark matter for it, I really don’t want to fail obtaining it, just cause of the dumb synthesizer ore. Any tips?

I would say possible room swaps. Most mine came from the Borgs

I currently have two Super Rad Cargo Bays and always have Bonnie going to ladies night, they both have 6 hour drop times, so I don’t have to worry about checking them as frequently. (possible 12 per day)
Additionally, I have Quagmire and Deanna clearing Borgs, since these are two hour tasks, you can clear 3 during one 6 hour period from above with the ability to possibly have two at a time. (possible 12-24 per day)
Also, I constantly have either Peter travel to Acapella XII, this is also a 4 hour task and drops 2, so it times perfectly with each Bertram battle! (possible 12 per day)
If you do this, there is a possible 36-48 chances of having a drop significantly increasing the possibility of a successful drop. I have been doing this specific combo since Uhura came into our game, at that time I had 9 ore, as of right now I have 34 … as always, each persons game is unique, you may have more or less success … I hope this helps ☺

I hope they let us buy lots of land after star trek because I really need to renovate my Quahog. In order to keep up with gameplay acquisitions, I’ve had to place too many large buildings in front of small buildings, foliage and tiny decorations and now I can’t enjoy the beauty and whimsy of the objects hidden by the big ones. It would make reconstruction go a lot easier if I had fresh patches of land to move items around.

my guess is that this is the most expensive license tinyco has gotten for fg:tqfs yet. it would be good to know how successful it has been. a successful event would indicate whether we’ll get a sequel next year.

I agree, Romulan Connie or Brian would have been terrific! Kind of surprised that Brian wasn’t beamed in since all of the other Griffins were involved. Or did I miss a Star Trek Brian somehow? I missed logging in a couple of times toward the beginning of the run.

Super rad cargo rooms have been dropping the green stuff pretty well. Also Troi & Quagmire defeating Borgs, and sending away teams to planets offering ore. Am in same boat. Need 15 more to get Uhura and feel confident that I’ll make it tonight or tomorrow. Once I get her, I’m sending singles to the Borg cube for the rest of the run to gain back the clams I used to fast track the level 5 Bertram battles for dark matter and 2000 in crystal drops.

I’m finding good luck on sending my characters on the borg cube mission. One blue thingy for 5 clams, or 500 things….and just an hour. Ok. Sometimes I get only 5 but the clams and potential of 500 makes it worth it. I find it usually rotates but the drop rate is pretty good.

Spent my weekend at our Renaissance Faire/Festival. Took loads of pics, but thought I’d share a few. Jousting, sword fighting, fire dancing, blade juggling, gypsies, and a few pirates. It was great fun, I try to go every year since it’s in my hometown. Next up is the annual pirate festival. I’m sure there will be lots of grog and ale, and jolly pirates lol

I am really hoping we get the rest of the Original Cast/Crew and and Original Series skin for Scotty, and the rest of the Voyager Cast/Crew and the DS9 Cast/Crew.

Got all the crystal and dark matter for Uhura but no where near on synth ore. Never getting her 😒 might just buy a ton of the mystery box and fill my town with tribbies

I’d be happy to trade you synth for dark matter and a few crystals! Trading between users would be a great feature for the game. Tinyco could make a few clams (<10) handling the transaction. Hello! marketing? Sounds like the clam gravy train to me!

Finally go the last synth ore needed to get Uhura, not bothering with 7 of 9 as not prepared to waste anther 265 clams on a premium character who will be obsolete in 3 days!!
just about done with this event now, had its fun moments but once again its been a bit of a money grab. i hope the next one isnt and that we can get a new district to keep us all entertained (but not with epic drop rates)

sadly i don’t think i will be able to get kirk, uhura, or pike joe
its just really hard to get dilithium, but i’m doing my best 🙂

Doing ok in this event, the extra week helped out a lot. Managed to unlock Data yesterday. Kirk, Uhara and the rest are most likely not going to happen, I might be able to get Joe, I have everything except the bloody crystals.I simply can not get the materials I need for Kirk etc. I hate to think how much stuff is going to go to waste though. I do hope they tone it down a little next event, this one was just too darn busy with too many characters to get.

I started the quest to get seven of nine but I’ve got no money in the bank to buy her and over in the UK where I am it’s a bank holiday weekend so I can’t put money in my bank to get her 😦 and her timer is gunna run out before I can put any money in. I’m a major completionist as well so it’s made me sad. :(:(

So sad. The TOS crew seems to be leaving us faster and faster these days. I actually met her a few years ago at a Vegas convention. She was a lovely woman, very down-to-earth. Hearing her story of what she went through in her life after the show and how she overcame was both fascinating and inspiring. RIP

I finally finished entire Star Trek next gen series lol. Started it when the event started and watched all seven seasons and four movies. Still prefer Star Wars but I enjoyed the trek.

It’d be nice if they lowered the 50 Synthesizer Ore for Uhura…like after unlocking the other characters it’s kind ridiculous to collect them again especially with them being rare and for some reason can never get 2 in a row from the Borgs so it’s like 1 every 4 hours

I managed to get back the Synthisiser Ore I had spend creating duplicate items the day before Uhura had been added to the game, so now I have her and I’m trying to get more to build the Gold Bertram Statue, I was surprised to see them add the two new characters but was happy with who they were so I had no problem spending to get Seven of Nine too. Also after seeing the notice about the 250th episode of Family Guy, I hope they add Liam Neeson to the game, but as I live in the UK I’m not sure when that episode will air over here. On another note, I’ve just started watching Breaking Bad, I never got to see it before, but I got the complete Box Set for Christmas and just got round to it (I’ve also got Game Of Thrones 1-4 on blu-ray to watch yet too), I’m currently half way through season 2 and I’m loving it so far.

I live in the UK too, and I watch the episodes on BBC3, but as BBC3 is closing, I saw that ITV have bought the rights to air the future episodes(I don’t like that idea, especially having adverts inbetween, I guess I’m just used to seeing them on BBC3, but it just seems weird). BBC3, normally aired the episodes a few months or so after they were shown in America, I have no idea if ITV will continue it in that way, but I imagine that they would so that everyone is used to it. I hope they can save BBC3 though(Hat Trick offered to buy it and increase the budget, but they were declined), and then get back the rights. I don’t know about aired episodes on channels like Sky or whoever show them as we have freeview. I hope that they will add Liam Neeson into the game, preferably for free as a promotion, or for coins.

Loved Breaking Bad! I was a really late bloomer in watching it. Did a marathon session on Netflix and watched every season, every episode. Took a few days. It was soooo good.

How did you get your ore back?

I got the Ore back by sending Peter, Klingon Meg, panda Kilngon Meg on away missions to Acaplla XII every 4hrs and luckily I got the 2 Synthisiser Ore everytime, I also kept putting Worf, Troi, and Vulcan Quagmire on clearing Borg which got me 1 or 2 everytime, I also had two Super Rad Cargo Bays which dropped a few, I kept putting Bonnie on her 6hr task that earns them which got me 2 each day, and I got a couple from Phaser battles. This way it only took me around two and a half days to get back what I needed, which was just over 20 of them.
I’m really hoping we do get another Comic Con event this year, and it would be awesome to have Aaron Paul added, and definitely a Heisenberg outfit for Bryan Cranston.

I don’t know if this is the right place to post this, but after reading a few comments on the WTD area, I’ve noticed a few spewing hate toward TinyCo saying “****TinyCo!” What’s wrong with those people?😡 TinyCo has helped us achieve things that no other game has, plus they had provided us with clams here and there, have helped us by allowing Bunny and Alissa to walk us thru the game by giving us hints, which no other games do. I sure have gotten irritated at times due to slow drop rate of some items, but I’m not gonna go out of my way to insult “the hand that feeds us” so to speak. I’m grateful and I applaud TinyCo for their efforts and for giving us such an entertaining fun game because if it wasn’t the awesomeness of their creativity, things would be boring. By choice I’ve spent lots of real money getting clams to get my characters on every event, but no one is forcing anyone to be spending real money. Give TinyCo a chance and be grateful that they helped us by extending another week to catch up on tasks. Other game creators would not have done this! They added two more characters, and that’s really awesome in their part, therefore I’m really happy. Hopefully the green ore synthetizer cubes drop more often, but if they don’t I’m still not gonna get angry by insulting anyone. TinyCo you rock! 😍

Yeah, I am sort of stunned by the emotion behind some of the negativity, even though I understand the frustration, too. All in all, despite what some think, this is a business, not just a game to amuse them, and nobody is forcing anyone to spend money, or get every single item that is offered, freemium or not. If it was guaranteed that you would get everything, how boring would that be?
Fortunately, I am not a huge star trek fan, but heaven forbid they have a Firefly/Serenity event, I am in big trouble!!

You didn’t miss anything. Pacquiao backed off the few times he had Mayweather on the ropes and the rest of the time Mayweather just danced around, playing defense like he was swatting flies. It was like watching paint dry. It was the first and last boxing match I will ever watch.

@housprtafan, I am a big mayweather fan so, of course, I was happy with the outcome. I want mr. Money to retire undeafeted and he only has one more fight left before he is done, so I get nervous when he fights. At the party I was at most people wanted pacman to win so they were complaining, as people always do about a mayweather fight, that all he does is run away the entire fight. I think he’s just too quick and as Floyd himself has said, if you don’t get hit you can’t lose. Besides his undefeated streak being in the line, I don’t think the fight was very exciting and I think $100 for pay per view and $1,500-$15,000 face value for tickets is crazy. For that price I think the undercards should have been more well known. I do wonder what kind of fight it would be, if it had taken place about 5 years ago when both men were younger, more aggressive fighters. All that being said I had a fun night out and I was entertained by the fight and all the hype leading up to it. Thanx and have fun.

Ya for me, that is the most fun part. The pay per view party’s with friends. The hype leading up to it, planning the party, who is gonna chip in, the good food, the bunny water, the trash talking when the fight is about begin, during the fight, all that stuff! 🙂 I do have to say, I pay attention during the fight! I will never forget when Tyson bit Holyfield’s ear!!! Everyone was busy talking, partying. I was the only won who saw it when it actually happened. I was in total shock. And after everyone caught on, saw it with replays, I just kept saying he should be banned from boxing for life. IMO.

The fight was average at best… Pacquaio was obviously not at 100% (I can’t believe they would let him take a shot for the shoulder he injured in training… pffft) but all the hype around it was great lol

I just added some donuts for TSTO, and I got some clams for Seven of Nine, and some left over to speed up Bertram battles to get Dark Matter, and then I saw the Dark Knight Rises game on Google Play for £0.09! Normally it is £5.99(I think)! I was happy, I need to more some stuff onto my SD card as I can’t install it on my table due to space on the internal. I don’t know if its any good, but it always looked better than the Arkham Origins tablet game did, and for that good a discount I could just use some leftover money in my account wallet. I am glad that we got new content for this week, but I wish we had been told to prepare, I have spent a lot of Dilithium. I should just get everything for all of the new items, and a couple of mystery boxes, I can only get even more Gribbles and computer banks, or finally the Flaming Red Shirt. I will probably need to speed some battles up, but because on Friday I needed to have another operation, I am not going in to college. I wasn’t going to be doing my exams due to a number of problems that have screwed me over this year, but I would have seen my friends before they go on study leave. The bright side is that now I can access the game whenever to get on, as I will need to for the final Bertram.
