In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?
Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?
In this post, I will be covering the Origin of “Bear Man”, Ben the Bear, and Gary the “No Trash” Cougar we got in our games courtesy of the Nature Weekend Mini Event. What is with Grizzly Adams and the Bear? Why does that cougar look vicious? Why is the Lion Predatory? Let’s take a look at the TV Episodes to find out.
“Bear Man” & Ben the Bear
Season 3, Episode 17: Brian Wallows and Peter’s Swallows
Peter is watching an Episode of “Grizzly Adams”. We see Grizzly Adams sitting there reading a paper while Ben the Bear is washing the dishes. It seems to two are a couple. Ben is questioning him. Asking “Who’s Steve?”. Some guy that left a message on the answering machine. Grizzly Adams plays it off, but Ben is jealous and upset so he runs off crying. 
Gary the “No Trash” Cougar
Season 4, Episode 3: Blind Ambition
After everyone else seems to be getting recognition and has a place on the Drunken Clam’s “Wall of Fame”, Peter wants to do something he will be remembered for too. He decides he is going to find a way to clean up the planet, he goes to the Elementary School dressed up as Gary the “No Trash Cougar” to stop pollution. Though, I don’t think the lil kids are going to take to him sporting a hand gun and firing it off in a rage over who left it behind so well. He will be remembered, but not for the right things.
There you have it, a quick cut scene from an episode and a small bit role by Peter in another episode and we now have 3 more decorations in our games. Did you remember these episodes? Did you pick up any of these? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

I brought all of them and got Bear Man, I would have brought them all even if you didn’t get Bear Man. I kinda wish they’d made Gary, The ‘No Trash’ Cougar an outfit for Peter that you can collect items for, and introduced him at a later date, but either way I’m happy to have him in my game.

My best suggestion is if you want an item to return, send them a message in game. They may not respond to it, but they do read them. The more people suggest a Character, the more likely they have a reason to bring it back. 😉

Man I’ve spent so much time on the Star Trek event that I’ve gotten a bit slow on earning Peter’s costume and probs won’t get it 😩. But fortunately I really, really like turtles so I bought a bunch of those turtle ponds and surrounded them by one piece of road with Sheldon, he turtle, on the road, although I hope tiny co animates the turtle pond because the turtles look bored maybe they could jump in the pool when tapped anyway this mini event was good too bad about the costume though.🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢

Bunny is right, we don’t HAVE to get these things. Some want them, others could not care less. Personally, I will probably skip them. I spent a ton of it on the Star Trek event so I pick and choose what I would like, what I want and what I have to have. I had to get the Star Trek characters, but that was just me. The only one I did not get was Borg Consuela and that is OK with me because I didn’t think she was worth the money.

Kinda want the cougar but to my understanding he does not walk so I am not sure. If he walks then heck yeah. If money was not tight I probably would but then again I am way way tempted with the other two decorations. Like my friend said something better will come along that I may want more. Congrats on the new addition coming.

I KINDA want Grizzly Adams since he’s from a classic Family Guy gag, but I’m content with just Gary the “No Trash” Cougar. Hopefully they’ll add the “Give a larbage, throw outcha garbage!” sound clip to him like they did with “IRAQ LOBSTER!”
Plus, I need to save my clams. If the bird drops continue to be as dismal as they are, I’ll have to use them to finish the costume off. I’ve been checking my town religiously other than the 8 hours I need for sleep. And even then, if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night, I check in. I’m beginning to become reminiscent of the horrid Pee Pants event again. Haha!

Maybe scratch the “dismal” bird drops. I may have just gotten lucky, but I just received blue birds from all three sources and purple birds from all three sources. Perhaps TinyCo has increased them to common/always?

Same here I’m checking constantly but the blue and green’s drop rate seems very rare.. Only half way through don’t think I can get them in time. But the thing is spending the clam doesn’t mean you get the item, especially if they on rare, I might as well just get the outfit right away with clams so I can get some sleep lol

Please, please Stop telling us we don’t HAVE TO get everything. Please. We know. But when you play regularly and over a long period of time, many of us want to. We’re “completionists.” And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Completionists fund the game. I think, sometimes, we just wish things weren’t so obviously useless cash grabs. It’s kind of disrespectful, actually. Especially after that last event. IJS

I get that. I do. We are Addicts ourselves, hence the name. We want it all too and know what goes into getting it all. Our bank accounts remind us daily. 😉
Just take a step back and see if from our side. It is in there for OUR protection. We get many understand the concept, but many others don’t as well. There are a lot of new players to the game and site. Sometimes daily.
If we do NOT put it in, we get yelled at for the opposite. That we “are” telling people to buy it and people get upset that they felt they HAD to.
Please don’t take your anger against Tinyco’s methods out on us. We are doing what we always have…trying to help. We are players too. Spending our own money too.
It’s the same in our other site. We always tell people it’s their choice. We always say check your Donut confirm. Every event, every premium… we still get the same response, same comments…here too “why didn’t you tell us, why didn’t I know”. So we make sure we do… to cover OURselves
Not every post or every piece of info applies to everyone. We can’t customize it to just one player/person, so we try to cover them all. If it doesn’t apply to you, that’s fine. No worries. Move on to the stuff that does. 😉

Naw, Bunny, I get it. Really. And there’s no anger towards you guys. Even when I get frustrated, there’s no real “anger” at TinyCo either. I just had to blurb my opinion all over teh interwebs, lol. I keep reading, and not just from you, that some of us should just “get over it.” “Don’t get it.” It just kind feels like people are gaining up on Completionists for being stupid whiners. But, I feel like we are consistently contributing to the game we all play.
I said I was going to take a break, and I kind of have. That’s why I’m at:
80/85 yellow
9/20 blue
12/25 pink
19/30 green
So, if I don’t get Peter’s skin, I guess that’s on me.
As always, I do appreciate the time and effort it takes to maintain this site. It’s nice to have a place to get info, plan our quests and vent sometimes. It is certainly never my intention to express anger towards you ladies. There have been times that this site has been the only thing keeping from closing the game for good! 🙂

We are some of the WORST completionists at Addicts. LOL. But that is probably a good thing. It is what drives us. WE want it all. So when we know we struggle to get something, we are vocal to them about it too.
I got Seven of Nine just to have her. I knew she didn’t help much, but I wanted her. Same with Cumberbatch. Got him just because. Lol. I enjoy the game and don’t mind paying into the game to support it. I also just want others to know it is OK if they don’t get it all. I don’t want people to start hurting their real lives to be a completionist. Pulling bill money or rent just to buy a character. I have seen it happen. A few regulars here that are no longer here or TSTO. That is main reason I say it. Hoping that players will understand it is OK to pass on something. Just trying to help. Let people know it is OK to live within your personal means. 😉

Your right Bunny it’s not worth it. I wasted tons of money on star trekky junk but have learned a valuable lesson. Don’t spend money for clams on a event for they will dissapear when when there done. For the money I spent on Star Trek I could have bought several sun dresses instead and they wouldn’t have dissapeared like this event did!

It’s life. Lil “bobbles” will be dangled in front of us at all times and in all places, we got to decide… “Worth it?”. I have spent many hard earned dollars on items I later tucked in a yard sale for pennies of what I spent. Live n learn. So now I try to help players refocus on those kinds of things. Do what makes YOU happy and will continue to make YOU happy months from now. If it won’t, pass on it and wait for something else to come along that will. Play to have fun, it’s what a game should be right? 😉

Hello I have 2 questions 1 is have u guys heard what type of new quest is coming? Not concerned about when just wondering what type of theme. Also do u guys know when it will be available for us to get some of the characters not open?

Nothing set in stone just yet as to what is coming. If we get some spoiler content, we will be happy to post it when it’s available.
Characters not open? I assume you mean ones like Death? If so, I assume a possible District launch on those but with TinyCo… anything is a guessing game.

I know Tinyco is a business, and they want to make money , but this game has just become a cash grab for them, over time , more and more has started to cost, it has been extremely subtle but that’s how it’s gone.

It’s a modal they’ve done since they launched the game. Don’t ever feel you HAVE to get these items. Keep in mind they’re only an option. Don’t spend your precious clams on something you don’t want. It’s not worth it. 🙂
They’re there to bring in money to cover the cost of Events like Con, Halloween, and more recently Star Trek. Only an option.

I love this event and I’m happy with it. However is TinyCo wanting us to pay almost $10 just for decorations?unless they will help me unlock a character or get me clams I don’t see a point. but that’s just me I’m sure some people want the decorations.
