With Men in Zoot Suits running round the game, Goons shooting up Cookie Trucks, and Offers you just can’t refuse… the Mobsters Event is live in our silly lil games.
With the Mobsters Event rounding the end of Week 1, figured I would spotlight one of the First of the Two Characters (Costume) you can unlock into your Quahog through game play.
Let’s see just what this Fatfather is made of. (Other than a belly full of Cookies.)
The Fatfather Peter Costume was dropped into our games at the beginning of The Mobsters Event 2015. As with (almost) all Characters/Costumes in TQFS in order to unlock him you’ll have to collect STUFF.
Here’s a look at just what Stuff you will need to collect to bring him into your game.

The Fatfather is part of the “Spooner St. Mafia” Character Collection in FaceSpace. Collecting all 4 Characters will earn you 25 Clams. 
The Fatfather comes with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Gurl Scout Cookies and Fedoras (Mob Rep) for the Event.

*WARNING: Stay away from “Sample Cookies” right now. It is not intended to be in the game and won’t disable out of it, so sending Peter on this task will just crash your game. Avoid it for now.

Do u know anything about Detective Scrotes? I’ve searched on here but came up with no results. I also scanned around characters and comments and couldn’t find anything. The end of main quest line when Peter tells The Don he found a crooked cop and it was Detective Scrotes I expected to see him , I was hoping as a character but I thought pop up as at least as a deco or goon, they advertised mob wife Lois and Detective Scrotes as coming with this upgrade … thanks for the help.

Love Peter’s Fatfather’s skin; pinstripe suit, wingtip shoes, etc. It’s a shame many of us can’t really enjoy this event the way it was intended. 😦 The Artists did a great job though. 🙂

Hoping that the patch they made will make the gaming experience better overall. Rough start, but yah… the attention to details in this are amazing. I keep giggling at all the lil things just in the Warehouse area. The Event Area… Love all the animation there. I keep expecting the Pigeons to go all Animaniacs Cartoon style and start talking. Lol. 😉

Every time they launch a major event area I want all the actual items. In this case- ya, the warehouse area is cool but, I LOVE the mansion and the cobblestone pathway to the house. Not the one we win in the leaderboard. Anyhow, they have some great Artists on their team and a great team overall. I feel bad for the employees who are grinding and those that don’t make the big bucks. This game grew fast and there aren’t enough of them to keep up with the demand nor are they paid enough imho. This game is based in San Fran and the cost of living is beyond phenomenal there. I lived in LA for years. Way crazy cost of living. And many more places you can go who will pay even more. I hope the owners step up to the plate. So pay those who are worth it. I have a feeling some of our game problems are because the good ones leave. Sorry. I just had to to vent for the other side a bit. They are prob not allowed to vent here.

So im on tbe last part to take down consuelas safehouse and need 6 dropsof the dog stuff….anyone notice those drop rates are terrible. Ive gotten 1 of those drops all day today.

Yep, drop rates are pretty bad but I didn’t complain because I know they have more pressing issues at hand right now. Like, I haven’t been able to log in all day. Grrrr.

If you finish the event say in the top 10,000 do you receive the Stewie, Godfather and Godfather’s cat Prize 4, PLUS the preceding prizes from Prize 10 to Prize 6? I wouldn’t mind having the Toll both, Driveby Car and the Corleone Mansion. Also is the a quick way to get Fedoras without spending clams?

Nope. As stated in the Post on Leaderboards, only ONE Global Prize per player. So only the ONE slot you end up “QUALIFIED!” for. This allows 1 MILLION Players to each get at least 1 Prize instead of only a handful to get ALL of them.

General question but how much mob rep should you have right now? Im seeing people with 33k to 10k? Could those people be hackers or are they just really dedicated to this game?

I spent 3500 Clams just pulling stats for the site, not dedicating it to just Mob Rep, and got around 4600. Now had I dedicated all those Clams to JUST Mob Rep… I could be much much higher.
But don’t stress over it. TinyCo will be watching, policing, and banning. So just play, have fun, it’s a game… enjoy it. 🙂
Don’t focus so much on micro-analyzing other Players gaming methods. If they REALLY pay that much just to stay on the top… oh well… THEIR loss of Clams. THEIR money gone. There are still a MILLION Prizes to be handed out. Kinda plenty of room for lots to get at least SOMETHING for just playing. 😉

Thanks for the info! FYI — If anyone (like me) plays the Windows 8.1 version of FGTQFS that does not (unfortunately) include this event, the app isn’t loading this morning. I tried notifying Tinyco through their website but the email function they have there doesn’t work, so I tweeted them. If anyone has ties to the Tinyco techies, can you please let them know? Thanks.

Yep, I kept trying the “Sample Cookies” task and crashed every time!
Which was a bummer, considering how long it’s been taking me to log into the game! Since the leaderboard has came up, I crash at logon repeatedly.
I’ve found that if I keep trying (over and over and over) eventually the game will open! Even if I get the CRASH FAQ screen, sometimes backing out of it will open the game.
FYI, the CRASH FAQ has an update:
“June 10, 2015: Crash on Load During Mobsters Event:
We are investigating an issue where players are crashing on the load screen. To help with this, ‘let us know’ what you were doing in-game immediately before the crash began,
Please be as detailed as possible, as this helps our team find the underlying issue. The team is working to get everyone back into Quahog as soon as we can.”
