UPDATE 6/25: Got Clarification back from TinyCo on the Purple Trucks. The Purple Trucks will STOP showing up in your town once you trigger two specific spots. Good to be a Gangster Part 1 & COMPLETED Rise to the Top. (So the basically they will not go away until you don’t need them anymore… same for the Materials they drop.)
So if YOU stopped seeing them in your town, it is due to you completed the need for them. So use your Wiseguys for Fort Nox or Raids (if required) from now on. No worries on Cookies, they have already items in place that will still bring you Cookies to the game through OTHER methods. Ones already active now and coming soon. 🙂

TinyCo has put in a change within the game to help everyone get Cleveland Jr and to correct those illusive Cookie Trucks that went missing. (I still think those Rogue Firetrucks ate them all. I mean they DO taste like Cookies. Om Nom Nom Nom.)
TUBAS ALWAYS DROPPING
You will now find that the Tubas will ALWAYS drop for Cleveland Jr from the following actions.
Chris: Eat Cookies, 2hrs
Quagmire: Ogle Lois, 2hrs
Jerome: Distract Pit Boss, 2hrs
You should have no problem at all now getting those Tubas to drop.
COOKIE TRUCKS RETURNED
Maybe a inside job from the Twinkie Factory, maybe jealous Keebler Elves, either way those Cookie Trucks should be back up and running in your games now.
FYI: On the Purple Cookie Trucks, Changes dropped with the Tubas pulled. Coins, Cookies, Mob Rep, (and Materials if needed) will now alternate. So you will see a change in drops as they rotate around.
On the Gold Trucks, they never spawned as Fast as the Purple Trucks so they may take a lil bit to return. If you do not see them within 24hrs of these changes going into effect, please report it to them.
Two quick “fixes” to the game and you should be all set now. How are they working in your game? On easy street to get Jr now? Seeing those Cookie Trucks Again? Let us know.

I just cleared to purple trucks and only got 5 cookies and a golf ball instead of 20 cookies. Is this a deliberate change or a mistake?

Since the tuba drops have been changed, you will now see a mix of coins, cookies, and Mob rep with whatever other items you have left drop.

The only issue I have now is with the “Destroy For Nox Pt. 2” quest. For some reason it never registered when I accomplished the 75% damage. So I got the 50%, 25% and Knock Down Fort Nox tasks done, but the 75% is still there. I feel like this’ll probably be an issue going forward…

It depends on WHERE you were on Fort Nox when it triggered. It will only recognize that action. Not previous ones as the tasks did not exist until you triggered it. For me, I just destroyed it, so only that registered. Just keep going.

I think the 75 % and25% are swapped. I got the 25%with 75/125 remaining, likely if you had more than 25% done when task triggered it didnt count it. Just confusing with the #s swapped

I saw that, That’s great, especially that the tasks are only 2 hrs. BUT…with being so far behind because of the previous drop rates, I’m wondering if there’s even a point to keep trying more than just a couple times a day anymore.

Thanks for the update, ladies! Sadly, no gold trucks in my game at all. I need two more, than I finally have Cleveland’s outfit. Have been waiting all day. As for the regular purple, they are back, but appear at a lower frequency.

Gold always appeared less then Purple… so they will take longer to respawn. Just give it time. Message them if they do not show up by this time tomorrow.

Purple trucks yes, gold trucks no. Hard close and device power off-on didn’t make any difference. Have let the game idle for 10 mins in case the gold trucks needed time. On ios.

Gold trucks always spawned less than purple. Give them time to respawn naturally too. If you do not see them by tomorrow, let them know please.

Really? In my game I’m sure once I had cleared 3 gold trucks, another 3 spawned straight away. Does this mean we will see only 3 gold trucks every 24 hours now?

My iPad just beeped to let me know a couple actions were done, I hit to load the game to update them since I was close to Cleveland Jr. and the whole game rebooted, not just clearing the buildings, the who.e game rebooted to the start of a brand new one, everything is gone! Anyone else have this? I’ve been playing for well over a year and had a ton of characters, outfits, clams, everything.

If your game was saved to an email or Facebook, you may have just had an update to your device causing you to be logged out of your apps… so just need to tap the new game til the Menu pops and log back in, then LOAD the saved file with your progress.

Wonder if they’ll refund clams to those of us who were stuck and just purchased him? They should be able to those who only had tubas left and then purchased. I still needed 12 tubas and after 8 attempts in a row without a drop and multiple messages to TinyCo (still have only got one response saying they were dropping as intended) I paid the 180 clams. I would have purchased Mr Myogi but as a freemium only player I don’t have enough clams. Oh well, with all the issues between this and Star Trek I think my time with TinyCo is coming to an end anyway.

The purple trucks and gurl scouts are now dropping coins instead of cookies, in my game anyway. Do you know if there has been a change, or if it’s a glitch? Should I report? Thanks.

There are other changes to the drops too. The Coins are now dropping in place of the “items” that would have dropped Always with the changes.

So glad they fixed the mysterious disappearance of the yummy cookie trucks!
I’m sure it’ll be resolved in no time, but I did notice that the trucks are dropping coins not cookies (at least on my game)….

They changed a lot of drops for them. So the coins may be dropping in place of the “Item” that would have been in that slot.

Should be easy now 😀 although I had queued six luchadors prior to the announcement and then completed blue shirts with first two.
No complaints from me though.
May even try for those gloves now in case I ever decide to drop four hundred clams for Cleveland.

Tubas just dropped from Chris & Jerome, already had them on the 2 hour tasks luckily, and my road is full of trucks. Looks like both issues working fine for me.

No blue/purple trucks in my game and only one gold. Performed all Addicts-recommended troubleshooting tips to no avail. Is this another one of those “will take awhile before they reappear” fixes?

Well this gal got lucky and already had Chris eating cookies and Quagmire ogling Lois, so I got two tubas right away! Only 7 more to go now!
Makes me wish I had upgraded my mansion last night when I kept wavering on it, but that’s no one’s fault but my own. At least I can start working on Fort Nox now while I await Cleveland Jr’s entrance into the game.

It also looks like the cookie trucks always drop golf balls now as well. I had five goons waiting, and all five produced the missing golf balls I needed… now just a two hour wait, and I’ll finally have Cleveland Jr.

I came here after seeing the Jerome task to get tubas. Very glad for the change since that was my “grind your gears” complaint. I am down to needing 4 tubas, so I should get him soon, but too late for the 24 hour prize. Thanks for the work you do on tjis site that allows us to voice issues and concerns.

Well that’s my fault, sorry it took me so long to get enough tubas to unlock Jr. I finally did it this morning which as you can see has now cleared the way for them to get this change made on the tubas for you guys. Hurry up and get em while they’re hot & get Cleveland Jr unlocked! Then you can join me on leveling him up so he can get his 16 hour task done for the first part of a long main questline that was designed to take the whole week that you can try to get done in two days even though there’s like 78 hours of tasks to do not including any build times for buildings I hope you already have at this point & this sentence is long & if you didn’t read this in Peters voice you’re doing it wrong try again. Things got crazy so fast.

LOL this is just too funny!! This morning I started getting a tuba drop with every girlscout attack and only needed 3 to go. I had all of my luchadors set up to attack 3 more times and I come back from lunch to find no girl scouts in my town to attack. Oh well at least I had 2 of the 3 on the task already going.. (couldn’t have done this 3 days ago??)

Yep. Saw this as soon as I went back in the game to give Jerome, Quagmire and Chris a re-up on 2hr tasks. Luckily for me, they were already doing those tasks cos I usually check the game every 2 hrs to give them something to do. Now, I just have to make sure that I don’t accidentally start the new 24hr task by clicking on the exclamation icon of Fat Father until I can get Cleveland Jr to Level 4 and I can stock up on Lunchadors and Show Girls. 🙂

Haven’t seen any gold trucks but everything else seems to be fine. It’s just a bummer that they always seem to “fix” things after the fact. Had these issues been resolved when they were brought up, some of us could have better participated in the challenges… It’s not like we are lying about the results or our inability to obtain items. And we’re never compensated for the inconvenience… I’m curious to see how the rest of the event pans out…

well not a second too soon. This is probably the hardest event I’ve faced and I’ve usually cleared them all not having to spend a single clam. Now I’m so horribly behind I’m just happy if I manage to get most of the new characters and skins. Currently I only have Peters Fatfather skin and Diabetiko. I’ve already given up getting The Godfather.

I just unlocked Cleveland Jr by surprise. My jaw dropped as I went to collect and tubas showed up. By coincidence I had all three on those tasks already. About frakkin time! Now for some serious catch up.

Heh I spent 105 clams on him literally 2 hours ago. Sucks to be me lol XD I was just so sick of wasting time making luchadors. I’ve not had any time to make goons for the gold trucks so nowhere near making Cleveland’s costume 😦 good for the more patient ones though!
