–WHAT THE DEUCE… “Almost there”. I really really had high hopes, overall yes the many changes in place are really helping and making the game go a lot smoother, sadly that cool “separate play field” created some pretty drastic glitches that tossed a wrench in the game play this go round. Almost there… but keeping up hope it is still getting better.
–WHAT THE DEUCE… “Bed Rest”. I have too much to do, I don’t want to be stuck in bed. I go stir crazy. BLAH!!

I’ve had Peter stuck on trying to start Joe’s “maniac with a gun” quest about some kids for quite a while now which means I can’t get him to do anything. The quest he’s stuck on was completed a long time ago and now I can’t get him to do anything. Thoughts?

My wtd is why make Brian the last prize? He drops 25 presents at a time but by the time you get to him you need 0 presents because he’s the last item you already have everything . Not much thought put into that it seems like

I have the new costume for Brain. When you pick the job to get the 25 presents it tells me “I need 60 more clams. Then it tries to take to the store to buy, but the link is down.” Why would you want to spend 60 claims to do a job that only gives you 25 presents and takes a day to do?

WTD? Am I the only one who has a big brown square where Robot Super Elf is supposed to be?
WTD2? Due to crashes, which lasted days, I lost my chances to get the first two timed prizes. Were they animated? The seal isn’t. I’ll be even sadder if I find out the grand prize Christmas Kitty walks, like Spot, Borg Cat, and Bat Cat. I need more kitties!
WTD3? I FINALLY defeated Santa’s Village twice! I’ve been trying since Santa’s Little Helper Pt. 2 appeared (was that in week 1 or 2?) When I finally got the vehicle to MAX upgrades, only then was I ever able to defeat the Village!

Secret Spy Brian isn’t the last prize. I think Santa’s HQ is an alternative means of unlocking him.
But for me, the WTD is that they unlocked our ability to collect the Spy Wristwatches 8 days before the end of the event. The Igloo generates 2 wristwatches every 12 hours and the Elf Housing generates 2 every 14 hours. In 8 days, the Igloo will generate 32 watches. And the Elf Housing will generate 28 watches, so exactly 60 watches. But that means that you have ZERO leeway. If you miss the end of Igloo period by even 1 minute, you cannot attain 60 watches. Plus, the Elf Housing with the off-set timing means that you will inevitably have to wake up in the middle of the night to collect from it or else, once again, you fail.
The short of it is that Secret Spy Brian is a paid costume. Yes, you can reduce the cost of the costume, but for a freemium player, it’s unattainable.

The watch items needed are super cheap. Considering even freemium players get a clam from neighbors plus about three from ads close to every two days gives anyone enough clams in just those 8 days to complete Brian. Most definitely attainable.

Mine has got to be the leaderboard.
I was doing well in the game, I had spent all my free time (which is never much in December) to stay within the top 1,000. I thought that the Nutcracker HQ would be mine at least. I only started playing this year and I would have liked a Christmas facade for at least one of my buildings. I was actually doing quite well. Then in the very last week, it turns into “who has more money than you?” leaderboards when the Toy Assembly building starts giving out 50 medals for just 12 clams. What the..? So basically all that time I had sunk into the leaderboard was for nothing? The medals are now this easy to come by? So basically you can just buy your way to the top now. I did know that this was going to be the case for some people (the people who sink a lot of money into the game) but not for nearly everyone.
In the first few weeks the medals were more expensive than a new sports car (alright, a slight exaggeration), but then suddenly they are as cheap as chips in the final week? So basically in the end it just looks like TinyCo weren’t just satisfied with money from the people who sink thousands into the game, they instead wanted everyone to. Start us off having to actually fight for weeks to get to the top and then in the final week, change the story completely. The only saving grace is that we will now reach the God goal. So much for the players who had actually spent most of their free time playing the game though, I should have realised that in the end it would only matter how much money you spend.

I have no choice but to agree, I was floating around rank 35 before this last phase and was feeling great about finishing in the gold until the influx of clams for medals hysteria! Now i’m stuck at rank 135 and going down more every time i go to sleep, I guess I can be happy with silver and getting some god in my game i guess but this last phase has been very disappointing. I’d need to spend 10x what the robot super elf is worth in clams just to even have a chance at getting him and there’s no way that’s happening even though I tend to buy premium characters just cause i enjoy the game so much…usually! Ah well so ends another event that ends with me not getting everything i think i deserve for my superior tapping and notification response times.

I was actually doing OK in this event despite all the glitches over Christmas – managed to unlock Stage 5 yesterday, when in the last two events I didn’t even make it to the final stage. However I have now completely slowed down because almost all of the present trade options require elf shoes (which I can’t get until I unlock Quagmire and the helicopter), and the ones that don’t require gum drops (which take ages to get as each fight is 7 hours, it takes 8 hours to get the materials to send Herbert on the fight, and I’m never going to get Spy Brian as the maths for the watches doesn’t add up for freemium players). I know it’s too late now but for a future event could it not be changed so that you don’t get trade-in options using one material until you are actually capable of earning that material?

Ok so Iv been playing TQFS since the very beginning I’m talking April 2014 iv played every event and Iv never bothered to vent about anything overall I think this game is amazing Iv even spent money on clams (which I never do with freemium games) I didn’t even complain during the terrible mafia event and stuck with tinyco. But this Christmas event, oh my god.
It’s been terrible. Glitchs, lockouts, impossible, supposedly ‘hard’ tasks. I check my game regularly and there is no way I’m gonna get secret spy Brian without having to spend clams which is totally unfair as I wouldn’t have bothered collecting for him in the first place.
I really hope tinyco read these forums as the work that bunny and co do for this game is always top notch and I’m a huge fan of all they do, just to end on a bit of positive 😉

Don’t usually participate in these but this event has been horrid from the first day with the introduction of leaderboards and everything else everyone hated about every event. Why would you mix Christmas and war? All the decos earned are going straight into inventory. The game has become almost nothing but a money grab now it’s quite disappointing. Instead of looking forward to events I dread them now. But I’m still an addict so I’m still here. For how much longer I’m not sure…

I agree 100%! I couldnt get behind the whole Chrstmas/War premise either…and this is the event i really look forward too all year. It was SO complicated, I still am only at District 2 unlocked… I made no progress and it was just not very Christmas-y and full of decorations I will absolutely never use again. Luckily i had a lot of decorations from last years event in storage.

The event is based on an episode that was pretty gruesome…. Brian and Stewie go off to the North Pole and it’s all in chaos. The reindeer got a taste of elfin flesh and liked it… Reindeer Games indeed. The boys try to deliver presents for ailing Santa and end up murdering a family very graphically. I hope Seth is in deep therapy because that fellow has some really dark places inside his head!!! It was one of those episodes that I miss a lot closing my eyes and shutting my ears. So the event is actually much much tamer, war toys and all. At least we got some nice nonviolent decorations and the gingerbread buildings from last Christmas in the store for jingle bells, so it’s not all war toys that will be stuffed away deep in storage!

My Nutcracker truck is out of commission since it disappeared a few days ago. The fix in the FAQ (force close after buying it from the shop again) doesn’t work because the truck is up to level 2. TinyCo isn’t helping. And I have half as many medals as the lowest-ranked leaderboard person. I’m done.

I love this game. Besides the premium characters getting a little too pricy, it is a really good game. But they messed it up this event, and here goes my wtd:
First, I got banned from the tournament, being accused of cheating. It took the two weeks to reverse that, saying that they are constantly trying to upgrade the engine that ban the cheaters. Well, it ain’t working!
Second, the game kept crashing at the log in screen for one week. I was making a run for a top 100 at this little tournament, so I could get Super Robot Elf, and with this week off I’m working my as* off for a top 1000. Since this week off is entirely TinyCo fault, I was hoping that they would make some compensation, but I can’t even get a reply!
Last, and the worst imho: in this week the game was crashing to me, at christmas eve I received an email telling me that they pushed a fix and my game should be working: I logged in (yay!), put my characters to work, bought clams and purchased t-1000 terminator. I left the game window opened and connected to Adddicts forum to look at the quests and try to catch up, and when I tried to go back to the game, it was crashing again. Sooo the game worked just enough so I could buy clams and crashed again???
And that is mine wtd…

This is by far the hardest even to progress through. I’m a very committed player and usually get most everything an event has to offer that doesn’t cost clams with a character here and there. I am just now finishing week 3. I only have 10/60 spy watches and with only 4 days left it looks like I’m not getting that Brian skin. Just like this winter this is not cool.

My wtd is about tiny co and them messaging me back so first week in a had a question so I messaged them in game and got a generic response back that didn’t not answer my question so I did the usual hit the no you did not answer my question button and re wrote the question with no answer so I have had a couple questions since then alot I have gotten answered here but things like missing weeks challenge reward or it saying I didn’t even finished it when to seconds before I did but the game crashed …lol those types of questions I have been asking them in the same in game message since beginning of event (since you can’t create new message) so last week I finally hit my breaking point and actually emailed them to my surprise they emailed me within 1 minute I was so happy that someone finally got back to me (and to discover tinyco wasn’t taken hostage and the game was running by itself (its alive!!!)) Any way the girl asked what was my problem I explained everything and said if you could in game message me that would be great she then responses with this message
The vechile glitches have know been fixed thank you for your comments but we cannot message you in game hope this fixes your problem
….obviously it didn’t fix my problem so I emailed her back and said no if you maybe re read what I wrote you will see my problem is with the weekly challenge s for the last two weeks and not getting the “prize” and my other problem is pretty much being ignored for 4 weeks (I know I’m not gonna get an answer right away but four weeks for an event issue is in my book ridiculous) also why can you not message me in game my game number is this and would really appreciate if you could look into the problem for me. No response since then so today I finally blew my cool and freaked still awaiting a response for the message but to be a loyal premium player I’m very close to deleting this game and lossing all my money in the process
I want say I know your not tiny co and believe me I appreciate everything you do for players that are in my same spot but I had to get it off my chest so WTD TINY CO since every other option of contacting you has been ignored maybe they will see this on (I know high hopes right)

Not really venting or ranting, just still dissappointed they havent answer my email about being banned from the leaderboards, which i hope they do reply before the event ends, other than that ive caught up and finish and just collecting medals and doing the side quest for the characters
And so far i have about 26 spy watches so i think collecting 60 by the 7th is doable
Anyways good luck to everyone else and hopefully we get a small break from events, and hope your doing better bunny, ive been sick since new years eve, and barely feeling better 🎉🎉🎉

I loved QFS. The game engine is great, your events were legendary. The Star Trek event was one of the best things last year. But lately, it’s become too hard. If checking in 8 times a day over 16 hours isn’t enough for a freemium player to complete an event, then it feels like the deck is stacked. If I knew that some of those parts of the events are not realistic for me to complete (i.e. not marked as clams required), I’d be ok; however, it’s never clear that’s the case so I just get frustrated. Sometimes, the little catch ups help, but between the last Hallowe’en event and this, I just haven’t been able to finish up. Challenges unlocking when you clearly don’t have the characters is also demoralizing.
To be honest, I never spent any money on clams because I was always afraid that I would get locked out. Since the game began, I’ve been locked out for about 3-4 weeks twice, missing out some events.
Lastly, it seems a little insane that we depend on Bunny, Alissa & Co. to spend thousands of dollars in clams to map out the game for us in order to get enjoyment / prevent frustration.
Maybe it might be different in the future, but for now, my New Year’s resolution is to give myself some space from QFS. That and Maggie needs me in TSTO.

My wtd is spy brian. Is it a premium item or not? If it is, then why bother with collecting? If it isn’t, then the math doesn’t work.
Anyone else notice that auto correct seems to get stupider every day.
Otherwise, as a freemium player, finished the event despite the glitches. Even in the top 5000 on the leaderboards. Didn’t do any of the timed items though.

it’s been a while since i posted my WTD so here it goes!:…my bf&I started playing around the same time,he started like a day or 2 before i did(this was end of July 2014), okay so i had managed to get WAY ahead of him in the gameplay (LOL i usually had ALOT of free time of course while he worked),so just a little bit ago,he FINALLY passed me up haaha!,…BUT i’d say he’s only 1 or 2 short quests ahead of me so i’m literally jus a few steps behind him!so damn close WTD!!!lmao😂😂😂😂
i have no rantings or ventings to say, but i can say that it’s somewhat a bit hard trying to be a straight FREEMIUM player WTD.😄😉😜

My WTD is veteran Herbert. I unlocked home, but Herbert was in storage. Got an error say the character didn’t exist (or something like that) then the game restarted. Now I can’t use vet Herbert, nor rebuy him.
I did and tinyco a message. But have no response.

Here is my WTD. We were collecting trophies at the rate of 4b a day. Now the rate has dropped to around 1b. It makes sense that people are doin less battles now as the event wraps up, but at the same time we have buildings that give medals now. It just seems odd for it to drop off so dramaticlly so that it looks like will be close to not getting God. Hmmm

I agree. It doesn’t make sense that people have multiple battle zones unlocked and are earning way more Than they did a week or two weeks ago. I’m just hoping it’s a leaderboard glitch or refreshes are just lagging because I really want God.

It’s been rigged from since shortly after it was released. The original marker was 80 billion. Statistically, there should no way even 40 billion would have been possible without some help from them fudging. Not a complaint at the fudging, just they never should have made the number that high to begin with. At 40 billion, every user account (even those that aren’t playing anymore) would have to have generated 950 medals a day since the beginning of the event. As that doesn’t work, so doesn’t 40 billion. But I poked at them more than enough on this. Though as a side note, when a game plays itself, why does it need players? Hope that clarifies.

I’ve often wondered if anyone there is a matematician. There have been a few things that haven’t added up regarding time, characters with multiple tasks, etc. Especially for freemiun players.

I want to go through half of these comments and tell them why they’re wrong or at least show them the other side of the story in some cases. My WTD is still having premium items missing from my game since the 23rd of December. I have sent in game messages to tiny co and so far have only received generic replies mentioning the vehicle glitch and the fix. Nothing addressing my actual complaint of spending 800 clams on items I haven’t been able to use for almost 2 weeks.
I understand that with the holidays and all the glitches in the game that they are probably inundated with complaints, but i would like some acknowledgement that they have actually read my complaint and are working on it, not just a generic response.
I buy clams for almost every event with my facespace currently sitting at 145/150 characters, but this has really put me off spending money on the game in the future.

Hi, just curious. I was far behind on the event but saved up presents to be able to unlock Skynet (and currently up to working on Snake). As soon as I spent my presents for Skynet, I noticed posts where people got it for free in their inventory. I am having a hard time catching up from using these presents. I feel pretty bummed. I have been thinking about this and what to do. Thoughts? Just be happy and move on? Hee hee.

My play rate is “rare” now so I barely started th 3rd area (Kevin, trees). I might be getting snake guy and/or Brian’s winter costume, but I will need boatloads of luck. Event ends Thursday, and I won’t be playing anything much. I currently wake up at 7am, leave home at 8:15am, commute for 1h20m, work from 10am to 6-7pm, then another 1h20m commute back. I enjoy my work so far (new job, just started) so I’m not enticed to spend any time playing. The best I can do is play a bit in the evening. I’ll also be moving by the end of the month and my commute will drop to 0h40m.
In addition, my iPad mini is starting to show signs of aging. Its memory isn’t what it used to be. Everything is slow and crashy now, but I won’t be getting a new one any time soon.
Bottom line: I guess this will be my last event and then I’m leaving Quahog. It was nice being here.

What the frackin deuce!!!!!! I’ve been saving presents for a couple days to get the naughty list coal mine 430 right so today i have about 230. I look in my inventory from north pole and to my surprise the coal mine is in there hells yes, so i place it and complete the place the coalmine quest. I go to look at the prize board its still there and i still need 430 presents so I’m grinding all day for 200 finally got it about 10 min ago, not bad i have 2 to get materials for ssbrian cool, i go to als guess what, i already have the materials for that building drop. Doooooooohhhhhh! What the deuce now i gotta grind 600 plus presents for the next item………………..that could take days. Slow boring process of collecting presents, i hope they change things up a little for next big event. Bunny never get a flu shot, who knows what they’re putting in you…….maybey the super flu…feel better.

I am in the same boat,but I messaged tiny Co before buying a second coal mine to try to save the presents cuz I don’t need a second one either. They got right back to me saying this is a known problem they are working on, but in the meantime I can’t decide if I should wait a little longer or just give up the presents to move on in quests 😦

I had the same issue, only I didn’t notice I was getting a second coal mine till it was too late. Then I messaged TinyCo about it and they got back to me later saying they only saw one coal mine… So I checked, and yep, the extra one was gone, but so were the presents I had spent to get it. I wrote to tell them so but haven’t heard back yet. It’s been four or five days, and I’m kind of over the whole event. I can only do one battle at a time of the Santa and Sarah Connor ones because neither is strong enough to win anything without help and Peter is my only option for both, and with upgrade items arriving at a pace of one per battle and tons being needed to do it, looks like nothing will change in that department. Especially since even on the battles where it says I can defeat X out of however many stations, I never actually defeat that many. Makes getting those presents back a huge pain. So discouraging. I play another game that is extremely similar, and the events are challenging but never like this. Past a certain point, it’s just not fun.

My WTD of the week is my sleeping schedule >.< I'm typically falling asleep at like 2 in the morning. For some odd reason my body has decided that its going to stop being tired and continue awake until 2 then suddenly I fall asleep. Anyone else having sleeping problems or is it just me?

Hmm… I got into bed hours ago, but can’t fall asleep it’s almost 1am here. Better get this fixed by tomorrow evening as I have to wake up at 7am M-F until I finish my move closer to work (which will mean I can wake up at 8am instead)

Not just you. Recently my body won’t stay asleep much longer than five hours, and often only three or four. It’s just not enough! I’m tired constantly and I feel my mental health is deteriorating…well even more than usual!

My WTD comments are #1: What is up with all these stupid decorations? If Tiny Co would just focus on giving us the option to permanently remove decorations and add buildings that could help with the quests, this will make the game 100% better!
#2: I have 90 characters in my inventory and only use 10 of them cause the rest are useless, can we get some more missions for them to be useful?
#3: When are we going to see a new level upgrade for the characters? Almost the majority of them are maxed at level 15 while a few are at 25. Also my game level is at 60 since the beginning of 2015!
#4: Can Tiny Co please find some use with all these coins? I have 7 million in coins and rarely use them cause all the themed quests use some other bogus currency! What’s the purpose of collecting them when we barely use them?

I’m a freemium player and completed everything in the event except still collecting watches for Brian and finishing up the questlines. My only problem was getting banned from the leaderboard early on and still waiting for an explanation. I am happy though to be getting the collective prizes and look forward to God. Could never do it though without the help of this site and especially all the helpful information that Bunny posts here.

It doesn’t matter those last two buildings 12 clams for 50 medals, anyone who wants in the top 100 all they have to do is spend clams, which is great for tiny co. But for the rest that are actually playing the game, leveling up bases to get medals there isn’t a chance in hell to reach it the top 100, but that just goes to show what they really care about…

My WTD is more of a what the hey. I’m basically done with this event. Not saying I’m quitting out of anger, just saying I’ve gotten everything I can get. After the first week when I was out of town and unable to play at my usual pace I fell behind and thought here we go again. But I was able to catch up and was actually ready for the final phase to begin with a couple hundred presents to go. I got the toy warehouse yesterday and accidentally started the timer on the assembly line so no chance to get that, but I don’t mind really as it wasn’t something I “wanted” just would have helped with medals. But now I have no need for presents and the only thing left to do is collect medals for the leaderboard. I’m in the last tier and doubt I’ll be able to move up but I have a good cushion so hope I don’t move down either. Then there’s spy Brian, who helps with presents which I don’t need and God. All this with not a clam spent by the way.

I was thinking they intended to have some sort of boss battle with the Super Elf, but they were never able to get it to work correctly. Then again, there was shoddy content coding that did not work correctly, and they had no problem releasing that, so who knows! *chuckle* Also, the release of the spy watch for Brian was so late in the game that his ability to gain presents was useless, so maybe they will still release the supoer robot elf on Monday??

In my opinion this has been the worst event for freemium players. Usually I’m a day or two late getting to week 3 which then means I’m a few days late to week 4 and I always struggle to get to week 5 unless there’s an extension. Which is annoying but at least it’s only the last bit I miss, it’s like it’s a premium week or something. But this time I’m still only on week 3 content and I need another week just to unlock snake. I haven’t been playing any less than usual so it does seem like there was too much stuff to collect to unlock everything. Trying to collect enough presents has been a nightmare. Drop rates have generally been good but we just needed to get too much stuff

I’m in exactly the same position. Too front-loaded and way too repetitive, what with attacking each village over and over and over.

Spy watches. Impossible freemium, and even premium is pushing it. It wouldn’t have been a problem if the ways to get them had opened up when the character did.
Thank goodness for the free clams from ads, as I refuse to spend money when the game is as glitchy as it is, and I’ve found that one premium event character is usually enough to help through the event…T-600 for me in this one, as he seemed the most interesting.
Thanks again for your work putting these things together, there would be no hope to getting anywhere near complete without this site.

Did you notify TinyCo from inside the game? They might be able to fix it for you, or be working on a patch if it’s a problem others are seeing.

I had already updated, but took a chance and cleared the data. I had already cleared the data before I updated, so I though that same data loaded by the outdated version would work with the current version. I guess not. 😛

What the Duece?! I got the flu virus even though I was immunized 3 months ago. Just spent 2 days in the hospital with severe dehydration and muscle pain.

Yeah, any immune response to flu vaccines tends to be short-lived if it happens at all. Plus the virus mutates very easily. At least you survived… Flu vaccines are kind of a futile approach, better to do everything you can to boost your immune system and avoid germy people or at least sanitize in their wake. Easier said than done. But people in certain jobs have to get the vaccine regardless, even though a certain number are likely to respond to the vaccine itself by getting sick to some degree at least for a few days after. What the deuce indeed…

I got a flu shot too… I ended up with a “new” version of it along with other sicknesses hitting me hard and putting me in the Hospital.

I got worst flu I’ve ever had had in November despite having flu shot in September, guess new variants appear after the manufacturing of any years vaccine. But it was a stark reminder to me of how dangerous flu can be to our elderly etc, we forget how many people it kills each year. So I will continue to get my flu shot as the more people who are immune to those variants then hopefully the less it can spread and mutate to those who are in high risk groups, only ever get an itchy arm response to it.

I feel like this event should be extended. I have not been affected by any major glitches, but I have found it impossible to keep up while this event is going on. I have only gotten to the point where I am unlocking Snake, and I am not sure that I will even be able to unlock him before the event ends. And that is just the halfway point! This event has been too short for the level of difficulty that the freemium players face.

Tiny Co making things almost impossible again. Need hundreds of presents even to get quagmire and the helicopter for raids in phase 5. More or less run out of fuel for the hovercraft and truck so I cannot earn many hats or toy cars, and hence cannot get presents very quickly at all now. Not enough fuel, not enough materials, not enough presents… all makes the event no fun as there is no way even to get through the story. Annoying when events just end without even wrapping up the event story. Every event since star trek has been similar although this one really seems to have got stuck now for me!

Once you get the helicopter, though, the other two buildings just drop medals. So there really isn’t any urgency for any of them. Just enjoy shooting up childhood memories for a few more days. We’ll all definitely get God! Not sure so sure about Brian, the only strategy possible is to diligently reset the two buildings that drop the watches whenever they’re ready. He’s unlikely to be able to help attack the bakery but who cares at this point?
If they have the evil robot elf get attacked as they did with the mecha in the rock concert event, that will pull people off getting materials to get presents but might not really matter by then. Maybe he drops stuff to get Brian? No sign of the bad elf yet in my game , though, as of Saturday afternoon, and the event ends Thursday.

Yeah I was actually going to semi retract this comment. Ran out of fuel but concentrated on other raids for a few hours and soon got going again. Once Quagmire was earned, the copter only needed a few presents and the next prize only drops unwanted medals. Also I didn’t realise that the 4th prize was the premium 24 hour timed item which I won’t get anyway.
In fact all in all this event seems to have worked a lot better than others..
I was luckily not hit by any glitches. There was some annoyance of characters needed for more than one thing, but I was able to shuffle them between tasks. Upgrading the vehicles too much so that 1 character could do no damage was annoying but was helped by puppy brian!

I’m relatively new to this site, been coming here for a few months. Is the forum broken? I can’t register for it, it gets to the page where you have to enter a username and accept the TOSA but even though it says my username is available it just keeps going back to that page without any error?
Game gripe/Question – How am I supposed to defeat any of the xmas buildings to get more hats/cars/bread(or potatoes, i can’t tell what they are) if the characters I select for the battle can’t defeat any of them without upgrading my vehicle which I can’t do because I can’t defeat anything to earn the items you need to upgrade? If I keep “failing” and clearing 0 does it go back to being easier to defeat? I don’t want to waste the ‘fuel’ needed to battle if I’m just going to keep failing.

If you have him use Puppy Brian to gather materials for upgrading, although depending on your levels it may be bit late for it to get you moving again.

Nope, you’re not the only one. I was banned pretty early on for (as far as I know) no reason, messaged them on the 15th December and again on 23rd December when I hadn’t heard anything. Don’t know whether to message them again but I’m sure they’re swamped with people complaining about bugs and having a go at them.
It’s lucky that it’s currently only the leaderboards I have an issue with, I’m not that bothered about them any more.

They finally replied with a generic response that your game is similar to that of a hacked game, which is not true, and that all decisions are final, so I think they have no intention of looking at us stragglers who were affected here.

WTD, what’s up with those 60 watches? Before we get them the event will be over, so basically it won’t be possible. Not sure if it’s correct, but somewhere else someone even mentioned that they spent clams getting them in order to get the task for presents… And then they found out that it is a 24 hour task which cost 60 clams to start! 24 hours and 60 clams for 25 presents, on top of what it costed in clams to get the watches. That’s rubbery.

Here is my wtd. This is an email I sent to Tinyco and have yet to get a response.
Dear Tinyco,
I love your game but you just lost a paying customer. The rule of business is 20% of your customers generate 80% of your revenue. I was one of those 20%. In the past, it was possible to fully complete events only spending $20. I don’t mind spending that money as you provide me with some entertainment. Recently your events require in excess of $50+ to complete. As a customer I now have 3 choices. #1 Play for free and enjoy what I can obtain. #2 Spend my $20 budget and get some of the stuff. #3 Spend $50-100 and get everything. I decided to pick #1.
So instead of keeping your customer base happy, you just lost my $20. It might not seem like much but that is $240 per year from 1 customer. I can’t be the only one that feels this way, so you do the math.

Glitches and Gremlins hit this event hard but I really have no WTD about it, my WTD is the opposite of yours Bunny, I need some bed rest, haven’t stopped in weeks and I’m starting feel I need to recharge. But been a great few weeks over the holiday season so what’s a bit of exhaustion to moan about it.

I have two major complaints about the game right now:
The first is the glitches that we’re all aware of. I’ve said a lot about them already but every time it gets solved it comes back. There is no permanent fix. I’m losing out on valuable presents but at least I’ve already got the useful prizes and only have the pointless ones left. Still I’m asking for my battles to be fixed for the third time in this event.
The other ‘what the deuce’ moment is the watches for Brian’s costume. We need 60 of them and us freemium players can actually get only 6 a day which means it would take us 10 days, but that would be after the event. Please give us one more way to get them.

I think Brian should be considered as for the Premium crowd… So Herbert is on his own in the bakery battles for us freemiums. If they intended everybody to get him, they could have just started letting us collect the watches earlier.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. They gave us a full week plus to collect the other items, and then waited until it would be impossible to collect them in time unless you bought the premium player. I feel it was a deceptive and shifty move to make you believe you could earn him, and then pull that stunt. And there was no way he could help out in the bakery since even if you did buy the premium character, you would only have him available for the last day. Marvelous!

WTD on the Spy Brian? Tiny made him a driver for the bakery vehicle but then made us wait until this week to get one of the required items for him. Worse, they require 60 watches and by my count you can max out at 14 a day if you time things perfectly (and you bought T-1000) – meaning it takes 5 days to get him leaving only 2 days to the event if you’re lucky. Well thought out there TinyCo.

All the technical issues have ruined this event for me, but it was already a bad event: putting such high prices on speeding up attacks makes clams worthless. Since you need those drops to craft the things that get you the next things, it’s very frustrating
The only good thing is that the giving tree glitch gave me a few extra clams… All of which I am saving because I am not spending any more on this event.

My WTD as we start 2016 is the people who troll this site (and Bunny specifically). Come on people, it would not even be remotely possible to navigate this game without the generosity of this site not only with their own money but also with their time. Understand the poor presentation and major glitches are the fault of TinyCo, not the Addicts and absolutely not Bunny, the one person who puts aside much of her personal time to research the problem, contact TinyCo with the problem and then provide the information to all of us.
I keep hoping that the problems with the game will lessen as TinyCo continues to learn how to present the game, but just as they make better one or two things, three or four more things go terribly wrong. Obviously, they are incapable of preventing these problems until they hit our games or I am sure they wouldn’t allow them to happen as it appears they spend more man hours fixing what they have dropped into our games as opposed to working on fun new presentation that works without glitches. But NONE of this is the fault of the Addicts, especially the one person who is trying to work with TinyCo and make it all better.
Thank you Bunny for everything you do for us yesterday, today and tomorrow. And please people, before you hit send the next time your accusatory-filled post is ready to go, count to a million and then come back and see if you feel the same way. And if you still want to send it as it was, count to a million again.

Their fb page is depressing indeed. I posted a few helpful comments when I started playing but then stopped. I just don’t feel like trying to be nice among people who only insult or complain about problems which don’t exist (like not being able to turn werewolves back to normal because the characters who drop cannonballs are wolves). Or attack you when you want to share a strategy that worked for you with the intention to help. I just decided to stay here where the atmosphere is definitively friendlier 🙂
