A few new items just went live in our silly lil games. A Clam Deal, Tom Brady’s Questline, and a New Character just all went live for the Event.

TOM BRADY QUESTLINE
Tom Brady originally did not have an active Questline, that is now live in the game. You will see Tom Brady trigger Fan Service with a ! over his head. Sadly, still no voice for him.
SIDE QUESTLINE
There was also an additional Questline Peter triggered in my game, Play the Field. Will have to play through it some more before knowing what all goes into it.
ROB GRONKOWSKI
Another New Character is now active in the game. Rob Gronkowski, originally locked in the Menu, is now available to start earning in the game.
In order to get him, you will need to place the Just Balls Sporting Goods for $870. Once placed, you will be able to start to earn the Materials necessary to bring him live into your game.

He does come with a questline, but is not currently voiced.
Now keep in mind that with the Materials being common for not only Characters, but to also pass requirements in the Football Field and the Scoreboard Games, if you use it for one… it is used up. That means if you need 3 Helmets for the Football Field and use them to pass a requirement (like if it says 7/3) then you can NOT use those Helmets for unlocking Chris, Rob, or passing the Games in the Scoreboard. Keep an eye on your counts and WHERE you use them.
There you have it a Character’s Questline launched, a New Character now earnable, and a Clam Offer you can decide if you want to take.

Does anybody know what Gronk’s tasks are and what they earn? I was just thinking if one of his tasks would net some helmets, it might be worth investing in him early on. If not, then I’ll just keep putting supplies toward the games.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but do you guys know if we can only get access to the first 3 games from the game schedule of the football event? I only ask as I’ve just finished Game 3, and Game 4 is still locked, I just wanted to make sure that this isn’t a glitch, and if it’s how they have set this event up?

Hi. I was going to purchase the clam special but noticed the price went up. It is now 13.99 for the bin of clams (275) not 9.99 and all the other clam pricing went up as well: 27.99 for 600, 69.99 for 1600 and 139.99 for 3500. Quite an increase. I’m in the USA and was not aware of any price increases. Let me know if there has been a change. I have also emailed TinyCo in game. Thanks

Hmmmm that is REALLY odd. You sure your phone is not tapping into an out of country source? That is the only times I see a difference with the taxes.

No, not that I am aware of . I run this game on an iPad 2 and my iTunes account is set up in the USA. I did go on iTunes site to check up on the Futurama game awhile back and was switched to the Canadian iTunes site, but that shouldn’t have changed anything.

That would most definitely change costs. Canadian Market is NOT USA Market and so the price taxes for out of country would apply to ANY app from the Market. Make sure you are on a USA Market only to see USA prices.
It may be buried in your settings somewhere, but if you see Canadian Itunes, it may have very well switched to it. You need it to switch back

Just checked on my iTunes account and it shows county/region as United States. My settings on my iPad shows USA as well. I am hesitant in logging into TinyCo’s site, as I do not want to loose my progress on my iPad and don’t low if they would show the region anyway. I emailed TinyCo via the game and hopefully they will get back to me soon. Thanks for help Bunny

Contact your App Market because something you maybe can’t see is off. You shouldn’t have out of country pricing.

Good news. After closing and opening the iTunes app on my iPad and turning the iPad off and on, it has corrected the pricing. So it must have been on the app itself and somehow I jarred it to work right. Thank you for your insight and help. Glad I don’t have to pay a 40% mark up on clam purchases. So I’m having a pretty big issue here. I’m on game three and at the 50 yard line, one task is checked off as done and the other is for face grease and it says I have 17 out of 4 but wont let me move forward and every time I click on it to progress forward it force closes and I have force closed the game , reset my phone and tried on Facebook as well. For all intense purpose it just will not let me go to the 40 yard line and wont register two of my face paint

I just completed first touchdown. When i click on the awesime button it crashed and says family guy unfortunatelt stopped. I resrsrted phone several times and still thr same thing. It wont crash if i dont complete the touchdown.

i get to score my first touch down , i get the ball , and the game crashes.now it sent me back a step and i have to collect 2 helmets AGAIN!. is this a bug ?!! i need that ball to win my first practice game.

Not really. The items are used in multiple areas, so keeping track shouldn’t be too hard. Just more watching where and when you use them. Like if you need Helmets for Chris, don’t use them all on the Football Field or Scoreboard.

thought i was the only one who did something like this lol i write down in a notebook every part to every single questline i’m going to be working on in my gamePlay,AND all what’s needed for unlocking new characters/skins LOL. my bf jus looks at me like wtf weirdo…lmao and it’s kinda like it’s soothing for me to jus write down anything/everything i find that WILL be helpful to me in my game of course.

After the Raid to the Northpole Event.. And all the stats you shouldn’t have to keep track of, BUT since it’s a game and gaming is technology, and technology does fail us.. Which I think is important to remember, it’s not always Tiny Co, technology does fail.. Quite a bit actually, I used to work w a couple tech geniuses, and I’ve heard and seen some things. Anyway, with the Events getting more in depth, this one having multifunction item use, and seeing the glitches from the last Event, which thankfully, I was rather distracted from.. I was there Week 1 and didn’t come back until sometime Week 4.. I think it’s good for my own piece of mind to keep track of everything. I haven’t done an Excel sheet.. Yet. I’m currently abusing one of my poor Hello Kitty mini journals.. Which I’m definitely going to need to upgrade LOL. I just play premium, not all the time, I just really like characters and skins, as long as the price isn’t too crazy.. And I invest in useful buildings, that would benefit me and how I play the game, or if they are really to my liking. So I don’t want to spend real money, unless I know I have a solid record to back up any sort of malfunction that may cost me some sort of grief. Ahh technology. Plus I’m kind of a closet nerd. It’s coming out more as I get older haha
And I work at a bank. I have numbers flying around in my head all day, I don’t have any more room for any more crazy numbers hahaha

Just an observation. Helmet drops have been absolutely pitiful in my game. Yes, uncommon, but 1-5 odds? Taking forever to get anywhere. Fun, but frustrating.

If you are not doing this already, stagger the players on the task. In other words make it so you are collecting on each one at separate times. Like a few minutes apart.

I discovered a great exploit to gain Footballs off the Touchdown error. Its very hard to do successfully, but I’ve gotten 4 Footballs out of it so far.
I play on Android, so I don’t know if it’ll work on iPad or other devices. What you have to do is immediately after pressing the “Awesome” button, press the Home icon to exit the game, but still have still running. If done correctly the game will stay active long enough for TinyCo’s server to register the Football before the game finally crashes.
I still haven’t figured out the timing to get it to happen every time, but I can get it to happen 1 out of 10 attempts. I guess it based off how fast the game processes the code before it runs into the bug.

I never received a fee football for the practice and I hear others have. This kinda making me a lil angry that all of my progression so far is for the practice, where others jumped ahead to game 2 already. Yet another disappointment.

??? Who received a Free Football? Not sure what you are talking about. There are very specific steps that have to be done to get one, just like noted in the main post. You will ONLY get a Football by getting a touchdown. Or in a very very rare chance as you progress. No one has “jumped ahead” in the game. They would have to have met the requirements of the game to move forward.

I actually got a free football, but because of the touchdown bug I have no use for it now. But I appreciate TinyCo for doing this.
I think it is a good idea to have a task for the playbooks, because I only need 6 more and I’m not paying 60 clams for Football Chris. Only thing I can do now is collecting for the football guy except for the weights.

Should I use my 12 weights on Gronk or on completing game 2? Which is more crucial as I want Gronk unlocked but don’t know what he drops. Please advise is its better to unlock him first or complete game 2!

Game crashes when I score first touchdown and collect rewards. 2 days in to a timed event that I can’t participate in because of this flaw. If not corrected I’ll leave game.

I have the same issue. I have removed and re installed app, restarted phone, force closed app, and nothing. Game still crashes after i try to complete first touchdown. Please help. Cant continue questlines and if it is not fixed i will not have time to complete event.

dunno where i should have put this, but i’m all types of CONFUSED at the moment lol i get this way every beginnings of new events. i’ve been blindly purchasing clams(even THO really can’t afford it, but whatever it’s MY cash, i worked hard for. its good to have a lil splurge session on rare occasions lmao…), but i keep getting distracted by concentrating on getting touchdowns to win those characters/skins when i’m also thinking: should i concentrate on getting Football Jersey Chris COMPLETE and FULLY or the scoreboard prizes??? seems like i’m doing everything else BUT unlocking his skin😞

Still showing incompatible. Tried force close, tried from game/app store/website, google play services up to date, have emailed tiny co and not heard anything. Any advice? Have been playing for years and am sad to miss this event!

Same here. I have a stock LG G4, still showing as incompatible. Also logged a ticket with no response.
And worse, I’m a huge Patriots fan. Double whammy.

As a temporary workaround, Google suggests clearing Google Play Store’s data from your phone and then trying to install the game. To do this, go to Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Play Store > Clear data.
A second possible workaround is to re-install the entire Google Play Store App. To do this go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store > uninstall updates. After that try to install the game again.

Have three wins and have Richard Sherman unlocked and claimed. The problem I now have is that both the fourth game and Cheerleader will not unlock. There is nothing on the scoreboard that gives me any clue as to how to move ahead. Is there some trigger that will let me go any further. I thought playing through another touchdown would unlock them, but no luck.

You have gone as far as you can in week 1 in the Scoreboard. You will have to wait until Phase 2 to start the next set (see the main questline Alissa posted).

Hey Bunny do you know if we have to be all the way through the main questline in order to move forward whenever phase 2 rolls out? I’ve been using the characters to get wrenches and stuff, so I’m only on part 3 of the questline. Wondering if I need to get a move on!

It varies per Event… so I can only assume until I get confirmation that you will need to have the Main Questline completed.

So I bought the clam deal to get the helmets and it won’t let me use them on the football field. As soon as I bought them, they ALL went to help unlock Chris. He has way more helmets than he needs and the extras he has, I can’t access to use on the football field. What’s going on exactly?

It varies. Some requirements will let you use them (like when they say 15/3) and you only have to tap “GO” other times it makes you earn them instead. It all depends on the Football Field Requirements on what it will ask. My suggestion is if you are going to start a new requirement, tap on it BEFORE collecting from the Characters.

Am I the only one around here who finds it annoying how we need so many uncommon dropping helmets for everything??? First Chris costume then game 2 note this guy too!!! Come on tinyco!!!!

I was tempted by the clam deal but I don’t have much use for helmets if I can’t start on the next game. I thought the update would fix it but no luck even after the suggested force close and restart of device. I messaged tinyco. The funny thing is that the touch down registered, gave me a football and showed me the requirements for the next game but the check mark still lingers and if i hit it, it tries to give me an extra football and then crashes.

Okay, something weird just happened involving the First Touchdown Error. Originally when I was on the 30 Yard Line and inputed the items needed, my game would then score a TD and promptly crash after I pressed the “Awesome” button. I just did it again and it accepted the items and the game now moved me to the 20 Yard Line.
Is this a sign that TinyCo solved the problem? IDK.

I wouldn’t. As long as you DON’T tap on his checkmark, it won’t take them from the game. Meanwhile you can start earning his other materials needed.

Since there is a game error that blocks you from finishing getting Football Jersey Chris (can only get Playbooks through gaining Downs), it would be best right now to focus on unlocking Gronk so that you can make some progress in the game until TinyCo gets around to fixing the error on Monday.

Odd. With mine, I at times need to restart it a few times to get it to kick in. Did you try to restart the device then go directly to the app market under “my apps” and see if opening it from there shows the update? My Androids all got it. Phone and Tablets.

I scanned for it, found it, and it says incompatible with my device.
I did manage to get past the helmet thing by using my Laptop via Facebook.
I ran in to it again, so I had to click go in FB, once I finished the first game, it straightened out and now it’s counting properly.

Samsung with Android 4.4.2. It was exactly the same wirh Greased Guy and I didn’t get him for free like others. TinyCo don’t answer. Anyway I found the sollution: I run the game directly from facebook on my PC and there was no problem to score touchdown and get the ball. After that everything is fine 😆

I’m getting exactly the same. Tried it both on Kindle and on Android, both devices crash the game as soon as I click the touchdown tick. No response from Tiny co yet for the message I sent.
