Star Trek 2nd Contact 101: Enterprise Districts Phase 1

Hey there Tribblemakers!

With us all back aboard the Enterprise and unlocking the “Districts” again, I wanted to go back over just what each section has to offer as well as some additional information of the “Rooms” that come along with the Districts.

Enterprise

Let’s Beam Up and see what’s on the Enterprise

For more information on the Event, go to the MAIN PAGE HERE!

You can gain access to the Enterprise after you make your first trip there by tapping on the Enterprise Icon in the lower Right corner of your game or tapping on the repaired Shuttle in the Event Area.

Enterprise IconShuttle Craft

When you first go aboard the Enterprise, you will see that many of the areas are grayed out and “Locked” for use. In order to gain access to them, you will need to collect the appropriate amount of Gamma Ray each section asks for. Once you have collected enough Gamma Ray, you just tap on “Let’s Go” in the District Pop Up and the District will Unlock for use and access.

District Unlocked The Bridge

Let’s take a closer look at each area and what’s inside.

***NOTE: With me having all the Characters, some of the drops from the “Rooms” I may not see fully. Feel free to share if you see a drop not listed below. Also, this time around the “Rooms” are locked and NOT interchangeable, instead everyone will have the same exact rooms.

District Engineering Bay

Engineering Bay will cost 65 Gamma RayGamma Rays to Unlock.

OTHER CHARACTERS

With only 3 of the 5 areas available in Phase 1, that is the only Star Trek Characters/Costumes that can be earned right now. More will come in Phase 2, so if they are not listed in the Main Post… wait… see what Phase 2 releases.

There you have it. The Basics of the Enterprise and the various areas you can access while on board it in Phase 1.

What areas have you unlocked so far? How about the Characters/Costumes? Did you notice all the Rooms helped with drops too? Any other drops you saw that are not listed? Let us know.

  1. Is phase 2 slated to start today? I’m holding off on releasing characters from their tasks in hopes of a bit of a head start…

Thanks for all of your help, I would have blown a whole lot more on clams without your direction!

  2. Bunny did you notice that there are two rooms that are new this time? The Cybernetics Lab and one that’s next to the Holodeck on your left side.. Purple chairs and green sofas, it’s still locked w the Holodeck.. Or were these available last time and I just am forgetting? I don’t have them in inventory, but maybe they were premium ones that I didn’t purchase

    • Cybernetics Lab was here last time (image if from last Event).

The other one seems new, but I would have to go through all my rooms from last event to verify 100%

      • Cool, I like the other one. If I had room in Quahog, it would be awesome to have a section for all my Star Trek stuff. Currently mine is a mess, and I mostly just have out buildings needed for tasks and then random stuff. There’s no room lol

  3. Am I the only one who wants more ways for gamma drops to come by in this event ? I mean it’s a slow start to even open the second room.

Does anyone else have a problem with this or is it just me ?

    • Completely agree. Having a hard time getting the 20 gamma rays for sick bay even having played the event extensivly last year. Hopefully they add more chances during phase two, as collecting 65 rays would currently be near impossible.

  4. In my game the chance of getting materials from the oh’nos mission doesn’t change and is still on the base level (low for dictionaries, medium for green things) whatever I add Peter, Quagmire or both. Is it expected?

Some of the things the Star Trek characters say have changed. Didn’t you notice? Like Troi now says “chocolate is a serious thing” which I never heard before and i haven’t heard her say “why is my outfit tighter than everyone else’s” any more for example.

        • I know I never had the full entire list for them during the first Event. Most had up to like 12 lines give or take. Many of them made me laugh.

        • In my game it’s the other way around! Never heard her say before “Why is my outfit tighter than everyone else’s?” and now she says it mostly.
And the chocolate line sounds really familiar to me, I’m almost certain she said that one more before this event in my game.
No matter what, I really like the variation!
And I think I heard some new lines from other caracters too. 🙂

  6. Glad I read this. Borg Cube doesn’t list the gamma rays as a drop. But once I built it (2nd one, as I had it also from the 1st event) it immediately dropped one. Wish I had known sooner! Thanks! : )

    • The Borg cube from 1st event is 12 hours. This event’s cube is 2 hours with the item drop. Kinda like how the mobster event has 5 seperate shady rvs sitting in a row in my inventory… Same name, different item.

If my 3 cubes from the 1st event were drop rate included, I’d already have every one needed for the entire event hands down. Just the one cube, I think it keeps it “fair”-ish between new and old players. My 4 T’Plana Haths dropping com badges on the other hand… extremely helpful. 🙂

  8. I unlocked Ten Forward the other day and I have yet to find Deanna Troi so I can place her. I thought maybe I just needed to reach a certain point in the quest line but this post has me thinking it’s just a glitch in my game. I’ve looked all over for her, in all the different shopping tabs and my inventory. I’ll send a report in-game, but has anyone else experienced this?

  9. There needs to be more ways to drop Communicators. 4 sources for a 6 hour Rare task isn’t enough. TinyCo should have all the Clam exclusive characters; Kirk, Spock, Khan, etc. always drop them.

The thing that’s really annoying me right now is I just can’t get on the leader board. I’m always a few Latinum below 5,000. 😦

I wish they went back to the version where they broke players up into brackets of 30. It was much easier to manage and it didn’t feel as hopeless knowing you only had 29 other players to worry about.

    • It’s even worse for freemium. We have the one room that drops a badge occasionally and I have a Klingon building from last time that does likewise. Stuck at the part of the main quest that requires Chris to go to the planet that drops catnip maybe. It’s taking so long to get the required 3 badges for the trip- will be difficult to do multiple trips if the catnip doesn’t drop the first time. I like seeing the Borg kittens walking around, but I’ll need to clear some to get to phase 2.

I don’t recall having quite so much trouble getting what was required to send Away teams the first time, but I didn’t do much of those so I could be misremembering.

    • I hate that the clam option for away trips takes too many communicators and actually has a lower chance of latnium even with two characters.

Personally, I hated being in clusters of 30. I was in a group with two who were spending clams out the wazoo, leap frogging each other every hour.

I ended up in third with less than half of what they did, and I had more than double fourth place.

      They were just that crazy.

  10. Is anyone else having an issue with the Klingon Meg quest “Forehead for Days Pt. 2”? It has 3 tasks, and “Have Starfleet Peter Recline in the Captain’s Chair” worked fine, but neither “Have Klingon Meg Suppress Klingon Rage” or “Have Riker Engage in Beard Maintenance” are registering as complete (and the task isn’t showing in blue text on either character).

  11. I still need 12 more Gamma Rays to have the 30 to unlock the Holodeck…are you saying that won’t be unlocked until the next phase, even if you have the 30 to open it? I already have the first three unlocked…just wondering. I know it says in Part 11 of the main quest to unlock it….

I am currently 24/30 on holodeck. I don’t want to cause a stir, but literally, even if you have the 30 on hand, you can’t use them? Does it say something or what? I see no other info than the quoted material… please elaborate?

        • By quoting my exact words, you’re answering your own question.

Let me put it this way… if you have 30$ to go get some food, but the place doesn’t open for 2 more days, it won’t matter how much money you have… place still isn’t open for 2 days. All you can do is wait… 2 more days… til it opens. 😉

          • I am thrilled that we can continue to collect gamma rays and have them count for the next week’s content. Usually we would be stuck unable to do anything for the rest of the week and have to start from zero. I can wait until Thursday to use them. I want to finish the final content as soon as possible then start cheating my way up the leaderboard like I did in the Christmas event. Wait …. that didn’t really happen. It only happened that way in TinyCo world.

          • I get that, I do. It’s that I was wondering HOW exactly you knew that. In your example, I had food money, but not a sign on the window to explain why I couldn’t buy it. I saw people in restaurant, but didnt know why i couldnt go in with them for 2 more days. For example, did the game give some special message when trying to turn in the 30 for holodeck? Along those lines.

Reading posts elsewhere, I understood it a whole lot better. Especially looking at part 11 of the main Questline. I can still earn the 95 things for engineering and holodeck. Just not turn them in yet since the districts are phase locked. Along with omega particles and (invisible bulkheads) for replicator stuff. 😛

Now, it makes sense to me. Like how Raid to North Pole had locked districts opened week by week. Sorry for my confusion on this and thank you for the poignant example. 🙂

  12. I’m wondering about unlocking deanna troi. She needs 18 of the photo of Riker which is supposedly extra rare. In my game the only person who can get them is jerome. It’s a 1 day task, so how am I supposed to get enough of them in an event that is less than 18 days and I’m sure the item won’t drop every day anyhow? Any help on this is much appreciated… I’ve only been playing since Oct, so this is my first “space mission”.

    • I saw 5 pics counted sometime after the first collection, which had seemed empty. Maybe it was an adjustment to account for the shorter event. The second collection came up empty, no new pics added. So Troi might be left pinned under something again… In the first event, it was chocolate that was the bottleneck for her in my game. Everything else was checked off when I started. Just keep on sending Jerome back on the task, things will hopefully loosen up.

  13. Just curious, I know this pertains to other articles better, so sorry about that, but it says somewhere that replicator items will help earn Latinum bars. I’m not seeing how they’re doing this? Is anyone?

    • It is more for those that did NOT play around that time last year and for us long time Players, a break. Essentially the two TOP things Players asked for. 😉

      Like

      • That what I see this event as, a much needed break for longer term players who have pretty much been grinding since last year at this time with no real breaks to speak of. Also, a chance for the newer players to do this event, which was a lot of fun, and most of the bugs that had been there have been worked out!

I still want more tribbles! *grin*

      • I am a long-time player (not a first-time poster [hahaha]) and I am playing more than the football event by collecting dilithium every hour. Am I wasting my time? I know the final week’s content hasn’t dropped yet, but is all the dilithium merely there to assist the players who need it for crafting new characters? There is no need to collect it constantly like most other events? I know no one knows until the new content hits, but if it is really there for new characters and I am collecting it uselessly, I guess I would like to know. I would love the break but was concerned that there would be a large-ticket item in the final phase since there is so much to collect and I wanted to make sure I was collecting all along. Thanks!

        • I assume Dilithium means Anti-Matter. 😉

Until Phase 2 hits, I can’t answer that

          Like

          • Yes, anti-matter. Dilithium was this event the first time around. Looked the same, was collected the same way and used as event currency the same way. Not as locked in as I have done this exercise already. Haha. I will keep collecting and see what Phase Two brings. 🙂 Thanks!
