Sorry a bit behind, but trying to finish up work and get the details out too. There is now another Mystery Box launched into our games for the last Phase. Theiranus Mystery Box. (Oh TinyCo and the names. Lol.)

I went through this box 3 times, as I was trying to get Khan. First time I got the Petercraft, second time the Tribble Furrier, and the third time Q. I was surprised with Q, as at the time I did it the odds were 1/11. Getting him brought Khan to a 10% chance, but I wasn’t going to spend any more clams. I’ll take Q and move on.

Y do they have to put anti-matter in the box. I might chance it but I know with my luck I’d just keep getting it over & over & over……..lol

Not that I can afford it (down to zero clams after getting Worf), but why is the Theiranus mystery box locked? It can’t be due to my clams poverty, since they want me to go buy some with realspace money which I could do if I weren’t such a cheapskate. Is there something else that has to happen? Do you have to have a history of buying clams at least once? Do I offend?

You’re right, I’m going blind (though you can hardly blame me with the way they name these things, somebody’s got a fixation). It’s the Heranus mystery box on the ship (one of the spheres) that is locked. The Theiranus mystery box in the Quahog shopping cart (not available in the ship’s cart) is open to me if I had any clams… Never mind!

No problem. I asked as I had JUST tapped on it and saw that lock, so I figured that may be what you were seeing. They changed the name on it, but didn’t on Enterprise (maybe couldn’t?). That or just forgot to link it as the others with new name work. I did message them. 🙂

Bunny, I went to check again…and the other 2 mystery boxes have two totally different names as well (on both the Enterprise and in the shopping cart) Once you open it up, that is when the name in the shopping cart appears, so wouldn’t the third mystery box do that too, or are they going to add a fourth mystery box?

I thought that was the problem, I was thinking that was kind of strange and that all 3 should have been unlocked in the Enterprise as well…also I am not sure if you have noticed, but the ‘Love Out Of This World’ mystery box is in the shopping cart twice, it’s been that way since that mystery box was added

I know, I thought I was seeing things…double the fun, I guess. The only thing I really would want in that mystery box though is Handsome Peter, although I’m not sure how many tries it would take before you get him. Do you know?

As it varies per Player… no idea honestly. Could be first, 5th, or last try. All I can do is go off the results others post here in the comments really.

it took me a lot of tries to get Handsome Peter. at least 8. But I also wasn’t playing the game yet when they had the Vday event last year, so my mystery box had A LOT of stuff in it since I didn’t have anything from that event…

so I decided to take the risk..
1st attempt = Tribble Furrier
2nd attempt = Q ( completed my collection so clams rewarded)
3rd attempt = Borg Kitten
4th attempt = Armus
5th attempt = 20 catnip
6th attempt = Le Matya
7th attempt + = Quark’s Bar and Holding
8th attempt = Shieled Petercraft
9th attempt = Khan ( completed my collection so clams rewarded)
10th = 30 omega molecules
11th attempt = Uhura
Got the 3 characters I wanted so stopped here
Spent 1100 clams and got 60 clams back from collection completions.
each character would of gone for at least 200 clams a pop , I got 2 buildings and the Kitty which I like so I did ok

Not too terribly bad. I know last event it took FOREVER to get just Borg Kitty. So great luck Kitty and 3 Characters that quick.
Only 2 Materials without repeats too.

I agree with Joel, I started playing this game at the tail end of last year’s Star Trek event and was bumming that it ended before I even got into it. I’m making up for it during this short one though. I already had Khan, but I really want Q and Uhura. I’d pay 200 clams per, but I’m not going to gamble. Too bad I have to pass these characters up.

While I’m a bit bummed that all the rest of the characters are only available through clams I shouldn’t be surprised. If hoped a couple like Kirk might be earnable again but no. I was close last time!
Oh well. My own choice to spend my saved up clams and get Puppy Brian last event. Not that I’m complaining. 😊

Is there any word on anything new like costumes for brian or bonnie, or is there anything in the replicator that wasn’t there last time? I’m pretty well stocked up on everything and have all the characters and most buildings from last year so just wondering

Am I the only one horrified at the idea of a tribble furrier? I’m assuming this does not refer to an entrepreneurial tribble who happens to own the shop…

So sad that the only way to get the Borg Kitten would be to waste 100 clams a shot gambling. Do they think I’m made of clams?!? I only have 254 hard-earned clams so far and am trying to decide which character to get in the shop. Lots of good stuff in the mystery box but also lots of stupid stuff. The odds are simply too high that I would just get stupid stuff and never get the kitty. Wish they would put kitty in the shop for a reasonable number of clams or even better for materials like the tons of pink anti-matter sparklies I’ve accumulated, or in the replicator for a collectable amount of materials instead. Will have to be content with their tiny cousin chasing Locutus’ laser beam. In-game poverty is so hard.

Locutus has a task that brings out the Borg kitty and he has it chasing his laser (very cute) so at least you can bring out the kitty to play.

Yes, ordinarily I have Locutus playing with the tiny Borg kitten 24/7….. I remember how happy I was to discover the kitten protocol followed him to Quahog when the event ended. Poor kitty is getting a lot of sleep in this event, Locutus is drinking an awful lot of tea to get cans of cat food and not even for the kitten, but rather for Data to feed Spot.
They really have to have a non-clams mystery box devoted to all their cats some time.

Got the lion/dragon cat toon I like it but wanted one of the characters that are rare or limited on my husband’s family guy game George got it he only got peter n quagmire startrack characters

And Khan requires mystery boxes. I already have Q and Uhura, but I do not want to risk the 1/12 chance of not getting Khan. Oh well/
