A new Knight is upon us. A land of Dragons, Kings, and R.O.U.S’? Wait a minute… WHAT??!!
A Grimm Knight in Quahog is now live in our silly lil games and with it some fun fairytale Characters, Buildings, and other various items will be joining our games. Don’t worry, it’s only a Flesh Wound.
With this new Grimm Knight Event, we also get some new Characters. Like Sir Peter!
Let’s take a look at what Sir Peter can do in our silly lil games.
Sir Peter is a New Character added during the first week of A Grimm Knight in Quahog 2016. As with many characters in the game in order to get him you have to collect lots of stuff!
First you had to place Castle Griffin for 20 
Magic Beans and wait the 5hr Build Time.
Once it was complete Building, you would then see Sir Peter pop out in front of it with a lock icon, tapping on the icon will show the individual bubbles of the Materials you would then need to collect to pull him into your game.

10 Singing Swords (rare): Get From Practicing Archery
9 Magic Breast Plates (rare): Mort Scrounge for Coins OR Chris Eat a Large Ham OR Ye’ Olde Drunken Clam (Bazaar) OR James Woods School of Witchcraft & Wizardry
18 Plumed Helmets (uncommon): Mort Retreat Cowardly OR Quagmire Giggity Strut OR Jousting Field (Bazaar)
Once you have finished collecting the Materials for him, you will see a bouncing Unlock Icon over him by his Building. Tapping on the icon will pull him live into your game.
He does come with a Questline, Rise, Sir Peter, more on that HERE.
Sir Peter does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn Magic Beans and 
Honor Points. He also has an additional 3 Tasks, each one helping ALWAYS drop much needed Potions for the Dragon Battles.

yes Bunny, finally got the last 5 swords about 30 min ago. prob would have got them this morning if by “mistake” last night wouldn’t have send Peter on a 6 hours task that after sending him, said “d’Oh” a la Homer Simpsons …

If everyone is complaining of the game being stuck at a standstill because of one item, maybe tinyco should adjust the drop rate. Without sir Peter the game is pointless. Week 2 started and most are not even close to finishing week 1. It’s way to early in the event to be making it so difficult. Like many, I have been doing archery pretty much non stop as arrows drop and only got the swords once and that was right away. I was hopong this event was going to be better for ALL players, not just premium players. I’ve dumped a lot of money over the past 2 years and feel like I have done my fair share of funding.

I have also tried archery 7 times and not one sword drop. I don’t care about getting all the bizzare items, just want sir Peter so I can progress in the event. Very frustrating, been playing since event started 😒

Im getting a little frustrated with the sword drop rate to get Sir Peter. It is just awful! I still need 5 more swords and I have been trying like gang busters the last 3 days! I still need to unlock Westley and those drops are slow going as well for me.
I’m not ready for phase two.
I was able to get everything from the Bazarr fairly easy (thank goodness) I hope the drops pick up s little. I don’t want to spend clams to buy out Peter or Westley, but I almost feel like TC is making it to where I have too (like so many other times) guess we shall see how this plays out.

Don’t stress too much, as you can see in the comments EVERYONE is waiting on swords. Just keep playing, drops should be getting better soon. 😉

The problem is TinyCo gave us only one source to get Swords. This is a major flaw is game design and for some reason after repeated complains from past events they still haven’t learned. There always needs to be at least 2-3 different ways to get an item. Never only one.

100% agree with you. I just finally got my last 5 singing swords. I don’t mind the rare or extra rare, but absolutely only having one way to get any item is just a bad design. I also have complained every time they do it, even if it is an always drop, I just don’t like it.

I’ve been able to get different results from the archery if I close the game before claiming the prize. If you’re still searching for swords after sending Peter to archery training for the 13th time like I am, this might just help you out.

This works!! I’ve done it a few times…didn’t win what I wanted and closed the game before claiming the prize…opened it up again until I got what I needed and then claimed it! Thanks!

i’m kinda sad that i can’t get the last 5 arrows needed for Sir Peter, and i don’t want to spend 60 clams to get him, will wait i think i get 4 more arrows to try again ..

The sword drop is unreal. Pretty much 0/7 on them, but the arrows at least seems to be dropping a little more frequently. Really might start giving up on this game, I’ve been enjoying their Avengers game and might convert to that

Does anyone know if we have to purchase everything on each page of the Bazaar before moving on or are each item optional? I can’t find the answer to this anywhere so thought I’d try here.

I’m hoping they responded to one of my many suggestions. If you are premium, then you can hit the level without needing everything on the page (unless you really want it), but if truly freemium then make it to where you have to have everything on the page to be able to move on. Seem fair?

No. I HATE being forced to buy items I do not want in my game. I feel that is cruel to any Player, regardless how they game. I feel that it should always be YOUR choice to put something in your game in crafting areas like that or the “extras” as I look at them.
I think that any Player should have the ability to only craft and make what they want. Freemiums as well as Premiums already have the requirement to fulfill the Main Questline to move on. Premiums will have an easier go of that every time. I feel that is enough requirement to put in place. Choice needs to be in the game, otherwise it is the company playing the game and not you. Choices will always be best. My opinion anyway. 🙂

The swords for Peter dropped very quickly for me. It was the golden eggs that held me back for ages. But even that seems to have improved now, getting egg drops way more often, even just using Peter.
Am I right in saying we shouldn’t expect to unlock Lois and the Princess till the very end? The hats from the dragon are a pain to earn. I can probably earn enough eventually, but it’ll take a while.

It is the opposite for me. I have had the golden eggs dropping all the time but the swords not once. I have even gotten the fire swamp, it seems to be an extremely rare drop for the swords. I have sent Peter over 6 times with not a single sword. 😦

Over on Reddit *** there’s pretty much a meltdown happening about the impossibility of getting Sir Peter without clams. The problem is the sword drop. I’ve had one (drop of five) in the last week. Most people are reporting the same, or zero. Despite being labeled “high” in the Archery contest, it seems to be an extremely rare drop in practice, not helped by the low arrow drop.
Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people walk away from this event as a result.

Well, seen the update and… nothing that improves either arrow drop rate or provides additional means to obtain swords.
I feel like I’ve wasted an entire week on this, and even assuming I’ll get the five swords sometime in the next 3-4 days (as the law of averages would suggest), I’m still well behind and have had nothing to do beyond collect arrows and run pointless archery contests.
I’m out. I’ll watch ads for clams for the next few weeks but otherwise I’m giving up until this event is over. Hopefully the next one will be a little more possible.

On the other hand, myself, and others, got the Swords relatively easily, but seemed to have problems with the Golden Egg drops… (Though I finally managed to get the last important Bazaar item, the Black Knight Castle, yesterday.) I had Sir Peter unlocked on Tuesday, I believe, and it was the Helmets and Breast Plates that held me up… He’s off gathering potions to be ready for the return of the dragon, now!
As for the skin vs character question… MUCH better as a separate person, so that tasks can be split up. There are already too many characters with multiple critical tasks in this event (e.g. Lois, Bonnie), so this is definitely preferable, IMHO.
