Peter’s Prehistoric Park is here! And it has DINOSAURS! ‘Nuff said.
With this new Peter’s Prehistoric Park event, we also get some new Character’s Costumes. Like Dino Tamer Peter!
Let’s take a look at what Dino Tamer Peter can do in our silly lil games.
Dino Tamer Peter is a New Character Costume added during the first week of Peter’s Prehistoric Park 2016. As with many costumes in the game in order to get him you have to collect lots of stuff! You will see him right from the start in the shopping cart, but you will also be directed to unlock him after Fossil Fueled Pt. 2. Tapping on Go will take you to Al’s where he can be made.

780 Dinosaur Claws: Get Dinosaur Claws by completing quests and doing tasks!
6 “Asteroids and You” Pamphlet (Uncommon): Get from Asteroid Prevention Center
20 Gooey Fossil (Rare): Make Jerome Play Darts OR Make Bruce Fret About Something OR Get from Tarred For Life
15 Raptor Leash (Rare): Get from Raptor Training Pen
Once you have finished collecting all the Materials for his Costume requires, it will just take you one second to finish up and “CREATE!” the Costume in Al’s. When the timer is up, just tap on the Check Mark above Al’s to pull Dino Hunter Peter into your game.
He does come with a Questline, Walk the Dinosaur, more on that in another post.
Dino Tamer Peter does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP!

The Peter’s Prehistoric Event is over, but my quest still asks me to make Dino Peter Adopt a Dinosaur. I still haven’t unlocked Dino Taker Peter and this quest still showing despite that the Gotham City event is happening. Please help.

Still trying for claws for Dino Tamer. The other quests suck them up. I am going to fail the second quest, the skullasurus just takes too long to spawn. It’s frustrating missing these by a few hours.

I give credit to anyone who completes this. Claws needed for everything, way to few to be collected. Peter requires an awful lot to open, I can’t get close

Wish they would stop with the skins and add characters, and give low level characters more to do! I can’t remember when Meg came into the game but she rarely gets much to do. They could make some character missions tally out claws…

Geez… the new weekly challenge says: “Place the Pteradactyl Theme Park Ride” which seems nowhere to be found!? Am I just too blind/dumb/trump too find that???

Okay, forget what I just wrote. I’ve found it. Guess I am just a little slow, haha… eyes do still work. The Theme Park Ride is the “Pter-Ing Up The Skies”; it’s Blueprint is in the Welcome Center. This is ****** ! I’d thought I’d save claws for Lois skin first, now I have to spend them on that blueprint.

Still haven’t unlocked him yet. Only had 1 lot of leashed drop out of 8 attempts. I messaged TinyCo and their answer was that Caveman Joe has a job that drops leashes – hope that helps. So the answer to get more leashes is to spend a small fortune on clams to buy mystery boxes in the hope of getting a character costume from a random prize drop. Very helpful!

Having trouble with the leashes for peter have collected 15 so far only 5 show as collected . Any ideas

The force close trick works. If you don’t get them, force close the app before hitting the awesome button. Reload the game and you get a chance again. Took me about 15 reloads to get the last drop I needed.

Yeah, there’s some kind of issue. Keep going, sometimes the lashes just don’t count but they don’t stop completely. I must’ve collected around 30 before finally getting the total up to the 15 needed.
My major problem has been the claws,,, still grinding away, day after day; but I’m nearly there now. To break the boredom I also unlocked the brontosaurus already for a little variety, which set me back a bit on the 780 claws needed for Dino Tamer Peter.

What do I think of Dino tamer Peter? Don’t know since I’m still over 200 claws away from unlocking him, now stuck on Dino might part 4 😦 too few ways to earn too few claws. Boourns.
