With this new Truth, Justice & The Quahog Way event, we also get some new Characters. Like Lex Luthor!
Lex Luthor was one of the tougher characters to unlock and I like many others probably only managed to do so thanks to TinyCo extending the event. So after all that work to get him let’s take a look at what Lex Luthor can do in our silly lil games.
Lex LuthOr is a new Character added during the fifth phase of Truth, Justice & The Quahog Way. As with many characters in the game in order to get him you have to collect stuff! But in this case it is lots of one item, platinum credit cards. You will be directed to unlock him with the Bald-Faced Guise Questline and you will get Lex Luthor by collecting platinum credit cards from Lex Luthor battles.
Bald-Faced Guise
1. Get 156 Platinum Credit Cards
2. Capture Lex Luthor
Once you have finished collecting all the Platinum Credit Cards for his Character he will unlock in your game.
He does come with a Questline, Bald-Faced Guise, more on that in another post.
Lex Luthor does come with a complete set of Tasks! Tasks that will help you earn $$$ & XP! He also has a task to help you get 
4 Kryptonite!
Let’s take a look at some of Lex Luthor’s Tasks:

**Note: Within an Event, tasks may change and vary as the Phases come and go. So some of these tasks will be temporary. Others may be one time use. Some will stick around even after the Event. We won’t know until the Event Ends.

I’m 10 cards away from getting him, which I should be able to get from hitting him 3x if he wakes up before the event ends. Trying to stockpile extras but it seems like the most I’d need of anything is 6. Quests at an absolute standstill so I can focus on those materials for Lex. That said, I’m not sure whether it’s possible he’d require, for example, 2 plasma, then 4 of something else, then another 6 plasma, rather than the 3x being the third material. If so, not sure I’ll be able to get enough extras of each one so we’ll see how my luck plays out.
Anyone know how long the cool down is (when his timer runs out, not when he’s hit 5x)?

I found in my game when timer ran down he returned in about 6 hours. Good luck, hope you unlock him.

I’ve been waiting for 13 hours now for Lex to return. I only need 2 cards left to unlock him and I’m also not prepared to spend any more clams on him.

Send them an in game support to make them aware he’s not spawned to let you complete unlocking him before the end, hopefully they can do something for you.

I’m not going to get him. I still need 26 cards while sitting at 16 hours on his timer and needing 15 radiation pulses – have 0. I won’t spend clams on this. I really don’t care as he’ll be a useless character but it does kind of stink to be working on it the whole time. Yet again, it would have been more fun if the timers were shorter. They can go ahead and crank up the required numbers but locking up characters for so long just makes it a waiting game.

Sorry you’re not going to get there in time, he’s one character who won’t be working on his tan in your game now. But seriously feel for you getting so close. if you’ve any of the other pulses built up is it worth waiting and hoping he respawns before the end of the event and hit him few more times. You could collect pulses from now until he respawns and might get lucky on your choices.
