Let’s get ready to rumble as here it is the last of this events Weekly Challenges! But wait a minute, breathe, yes, just breathe and let the zen calm you before you step into the weekly challenge arena. Ok, let’s go.
Now in the last couple of events TinyCo seemed to be making these challenges just an eensy weensy teensy bit easier and we were seeing a flourish of happy comments, then they upped the stakes again and they got a little harder, but this set seem to be a bit easier again, especially if you’ve stockpiled some resources.
Howeve remember at any stage they could revert to their original form of being extremely difficult to complete, especially for freemium players. If that’s the case just try to see these for premium players, but hey that doesn’t mean a freemium player can’t do it, it just depends where you are in the game and sometimes a lucky guess at what items to stockpile whilst you wait for the challenges to drop. The prizes to date have always been decorations, with the odd building as a Grand Prize, so I wouldn’t advocate spending clams on these, but as always the choice is yours.
Anyway this week’s challenge, if you should choose to accept it, seems very daunting at first, especially if you’ve not got any fight contracts or rotten eggs in the bank, but if you have stockpiled some then you’ve a god chance of doing this. as it should work in tandem with what a lot of us will be doing right now, clearing sumo and defeating Killer Kung Pow Giant Chicken, if you do manage to complete it you will be rewarded witch the Monkey King decoration. A possible issue I foresee is for us who have already defeated Killer Kung Pow Giant Chicken 7 times, and only need to defeat him once more, hopefully he will stay around to defeat the 2nd time we need to for the challenge.
UPDATE: ***TinyCo have confirmed Killer Kung Pow Giant Chicken will be available to defeat even after you unlock the costume.***
And If you complete all 4 weekly challenges, you will be awarded this lovely giant panda decoration.

Family Guy Addicts 
Just got my 8th feather – so waiting on GC to reappear. Already have half of challenge done with a day and a half left. I had partially damaged two sumos before the challenge started – so that really helped out. Now just waiting for everyone to reappear. Lately I’ve been able to beat GC in about 6 hours – using a combo of 3 fighters (quagmire, Lois, Chris, Peter) – just remember to attack sumo with Chris before GC. I’ve only attacked once – but I could always try two attacks depending on damage done.

FYI GIANT CHICKEN STILL SHOWING UP I GOT HIS COSTUME YESTERDAY AND HE WAS BACK TODAY.
ON A SIDE NOTE ANY IDEA HOW OFTEN THE SUMOS SHOW UP? HAVING TO WAIT UP TO 9 HOURS FOR PEOPLE TO RECHARGE IS GOING TO BE A PAIN FOR GIANT CHICKEN TO BE NEAT TWICE IN 48 HRS.

I only need to defeat Giant Chicken once more though. I actually could have completely defeated him yesterday, but held on thinking that it would be required for this week’s (final) challenge. Now I see that you actually need to defeat him twice.. So I guess I will not be able to complete this final challenge.
I have even completed all the previous challenges during this event. I guess I still miss out in the end though. I would like the challenges to be released earlier – that way you know what is required. It is too late to release it in the last few days (at least for some people). 😩

I’m on 7 defeats also, I can’t confirm it personally but another player has said they still have him to fight after unlocking the costume. Hopefully we have a shot at it then.

Unless you’ve a lot of resources built up I agree. I though it would be based on attacking him once or twice, not fully defeating him, that was an ouch moment when I read that.

I haven’t really bothered attacking the Giant Chicken, as I knew it was a hopeless cause (I did try on the first day, but failed miserably) so I have 8 or 9 eggs available. It’s very tough with only peter + quagmire, so hopefully I can manage it. It’s still a daunting task!

It is a tough ask, just make good use of any potions if you have some, they might make the difference.

Yeah, I got it done! 🙂 I half wish I’d tried to attack him sooner (to get 8 feathers), but looking at my grand total of 6 eggs I realise I would’ve had no chance at all and would’ve failed this challenge. Oh well, I have my panda now 😀

YES I did it … with 10 hours to spare … I got Sumo Chris last night so he helped with the second Giant Chicken fight … and now I have the Panda dancing in my Quahog 🙂
