Where the Hell….? MacGyver

In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?

With the new Quahog Heat event in town we’re getting to see some well-known faces join us in Quahog, such as the new MacGyver character. But just where have we seen these characters before? Well in the Family Guy TV show of course. MacGyver appeared way back in the first Season of the show. So join me on a journey down memory lane as we stroll through his Family Guy appearance.

BRIAN: PORTRAIT OF A DOG – Season 1, Episode 7

Peter and Brian have fallen out, big time, and as things spiral out of control Brian leaves home.

But it’s not long before life on the streets turns Brian a little feral and in a fit of anger he attacks a passing stranger, which not only sees him arrested and locked up at the local dog pound, but also facing the death penalty.

What’s this got to do with MacGyver you ask, well Peter is devastated at the predicament his former best pal finds himself in and hatches a plan to help Brian escape. All he needs is MacGyver. So he sends him a letter, written in invisible ink, along with the items he thinks he will need to do the job, a paperclip, a rubber band and a straw.

As MacGyver opens his mail, he is perplexed by the blank letter and items Peter has sent him, and as he plays around with them he hits himself in the eye with the stretched rubber band.

It’s obvious Peter was barking up the wrong tree with this escape plan, but fear not readers, Brian’s life is saved when Peter instead just bribes the council members to set Brian free.
