Speculating With Stewie – FGQFS What’s Next?

Okay, Okay, it’s not really Stewie, it’s me, Russian Tigger, sorry to disappoint you all again. But how else was I going to get you to read my rambling thoughts once more? Ok that’s confession time over let’s get on with the post.

So another event has reached its final phase as the clock ticks down to the end of Quahog Heat Event on the 20th March. And as we move into those last few days I find my mind in Stewie mode as I wonder what will be coming next? How about a break many of you will cry. Well probably not as TinyCo like to keep us occupied. I’m sure they must think idle Addict’s hands are the work of the devil or something. And maybe they are right as the FGQFS  game certainly keeps me busy and out of mischief. But as I sat in a darkened room last night, (no, it wasn’t padded, well not when I got finished with it), I found my mind wandering and wondering about what I’d like to see next. Before long I was pondering the future in true Stewie style.

And what did I come up with, well a lot of things I can’t admit in public, and a few thoughts on what’s I’d like to see next I can share, so let’s go.

With the Quahog Heat Event  finishing on the 20th Match I’m intrigued, events never finish on a Monday. So just what are TinyCo up to? Well looks like we’ll find out on Monday at 3.15 Pacific as TinyCo go live on the FGQFS Facebook page. Guess we’ll need to tune in to find out what all the Futurama, I mean fuss, is about.

But back to our games, I had hoped we’d see a much asked for character drop in our games on St Patrick’s Day, but nope it passed without as much as a mention in our towns sadly. Makes me wonder if will we ever get to see Mickey McFinnigan in our towns?

I’m thinking we’ll once again get a mini-event to keep our patience tested and blood pressure at dangerous levels before the next big event comes our way. And I’d love that mini-event to return us to the Dawg Multiverse. I mean c’mon TinyCo, how long do I have to wait to get Poodle Stewie in my game. That incomplete Dawg House FaceSpace set  is definately mocking me now.

Or if the guys at TinyCo have a dawg aversion at this time and want to give us a real treat, how’s about a little event based on The Simpsons Guy. As much as I didn’t enjoy the episode I’d love to see my Tapped Out Family get together with my Quahog Family. And wouldn’t we have lots of questions to answer with this lot coming together, just think we’d need to decide…

Who’s the biggest dummy between Maggie & Chris?

Who’s Dumb and who’s Dumber in the Homer & Peter buddy relationship?

With Lois & Marge, well we’d need to pick our side, it’s either Red heads or Blue Heads?

Also who’d be the popular girl out of Meg & Lisa?

And just who is the really bad seed of the cartoon world, Bart or Stewie?

And if this were to be an event, I wondered which of the 5 members of the Simpsons family old you want to see most in Quahog. For me it would be Bart, I’d love him and Stewie to hook up in a fun way.

But what do my fellow addicts think? Will we ever get to complete our Dawg House set? And with Matt Groening now working with TinyCo could we see the Simpsons make a visit to Quahog? And if you could decide which episode or topic the next mini-event would be based on, what would it be? Let’s discuss it further in the comments.

Oh and remember this isn’t a spoiler or teaser of what’s to come, this is just muttering from my FGQFS wish list.

  1. Just bought Rita Repulsa for 220 clams. Hope she’s genuinely useful for the upcoming event, unlike the Stewie costume last time. Only 15% discount but at least she’s a full character. I know nothing about Power Rangers, never seen it…!

  2. Big event or mini-event?

  3. When does the power ranger event start I don’t like breaks between events

  4. Well it looks like a Power Rangers theme. This one event I will be sitting out. I can’t even begin to describe the visceral hatred I have for anything dealing with that show.

I too was hoping for a Futurama crossover. I was hoping to get something for that game before it began.

No such luck we get stuck with possibly the worst kids show in the history of television.

  5. Power Rangers…I feel I’m too old for this event.

    • Agreed – I was in my mid-to-late teens when Power Rangers came out in ’93 and it was considered incredibly cheesy and juvenile. I’d prefer any of these instead: Voltron, Thundercats, TMNT, Danger Mouse, He-Man, Inspector Gadget, Smurfs, Fraggle Rock etc. There were a lot of great shows in the 90’s but Power Rangers wasn’t one of them

    • I hear ya…My oldest (who just turned 28) loved the 1995 movie, and watched it over and over again on VHS when he was 8 – 9…there was one character. Dulcea, who helped the PRs in the middle part of the movie…she possessed all the physical characteristics that a shallow man would appreciate…and wore this little bikini kinda wrap thing…I used to tell my wife that the only reason she was in the movie was to reward all the fathers that had to suffer through the movie over and over again…yes, I always got the eye roll or the silent stare, but it was worth it…

  6. Just when I wanted to quit the game they go and bring in Power Rangers. You got me fiending for all content now TinyCo. You sly devils.

  7. Worst. Major. Announcement. Ever.

    • While I am not a Power Rangers fan, I can see how, for TinyCo, being associated with a NEW movie release (rather than old TV shows and movies) would be a major deal for them. This kind of puts them up there with McDonalds, and other big names, who get sponsorship deals with the big movie producers. So: No big deal for me, but big deal for them. Congrats, TinyCo! 🙂

  8. Tried to watch but it kept dropping out – any highlights?

  9. Futurama

  10. I suspect they may have long since forgotten about The Dawg House; perhaps the first part was less popular than they anticipated or the second part pre-empted by one of the (rare) extensions to a main event. Although as a mini-event you’d think it wouldn’t be too difficult to schedule a week sometime to squeeze it in!

Presumably rights issues will prevent them using The Simpsons however a Futurama cross-over would be welcome; especially as they already teased the new game last weekend!

  11. I’m selfishly hoping for the WWE crossover to return, since Wrestlemania is in 2 weeks. I wasn’t playing the game when they did it previously.

  12. I hope the next event is about family. So we get The Simpsons and there could be a family box where you get a chance at the American Dad and Cleveland Show characters (Which the possibility of a box is the only reason I want a family event).

  13. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there was something Futurama related coming up for this game, whether a crossover or something of the sort…

  14. I’m betting more on a FG/Futurama crossover promotional to get interest going in the new game. The only times FG has any Fututama characters on the show was just in the form of Bender. I think it was only visual, also. As for the Simpsons, no way. EA isn’t going to let that happen to their cash cow until it’s no longer one. Off topic though, the Simpsons did make another visual cameo on FG during last Sunday’s FG.

  15. The scene with Homer and Peter at the carwash I can do without!

  16. Since I wasn’t around during the first one, if LOVE to see this dawg multiverse event! Is that how it was spelled? I want those cuties!

Is anyone looking forward to Futurama? I’m hoping it’s a lot like our FGQFS game! No cards, not interested in that. Can’t wait to see what is all about.

  17. I have a feeling EA would have a lot to say in TinyCo wanted to put The Simpsons into the game. As in, no chance in hell.

Also, I wonder how long this Family Guy game is going to be relevant for with Futurama coming.

  18. Really an incognita for me the next in our games, can a mini … I do not know but I hope someday second part Miami has seemed incomplete for me it has been exciting and strange because it has softened with the passage of days . My only complaint is the very difficult challenges for
