Now hold on there a minute. Are you SURE you want that? With all these cool Premium Items in the game, it is very easy to get carried away. Before you know it, Clamshell Shock! All gone!
So before you go ahead and buy the Panty Fort with your hard-earned Clams, here are a few things you might want to know about it.
Recently in events TinyCo have been putting in what I call a speculate to accumulate building or a clam generator, and tonight they dropped another into our games to buy. This basically consists of you purchasing this premium building/decoration for clams, it will then drop 14 clams daily until 2nd August. If you have the clams to purchase items like this I will ALWAYS recommend you do, as you will always end up better off as long as you time your purchase, and daily collections, right.
The new clam generator we are talking about here is the Panty Fort, and if you have 250 spare clams burning a hole in your pocket, I recommend you BUY, BUY, BUY. And as soon as possible as the Panty Fort is set to drop 14 clams a day until 8/2, so if you purchased it today, Wednesday 7/5, you would have 29 full clam drops of 14 clams each day, that’s a total of 406 clams over that period, that’s a return of 156 clams on your original investment.So BUY, BUY, BUY.
The calendar below shows the days clams will drop from 7/5, I include the first day as the building drops 14 clams immediately on placement in your Quahog, from there on all you need to do is collect every 24 hours, either manually by tapping the building or with Consuela’s vacuum. I am also including the final day as if you purchased it immediately you will get be able get a drop on the final day.
So that’s an easy way to pick up some free clams eh, however remember the faster you BUY, BUY, BUY this building the more profit you make. The table below shows the minimum clam profit you can make going by the date you purchase the Panty Fort. You can only purchase it until the 19th July according to TinyCo. However it’s only profitable if bought before the 16th July.

Final Thought:
Personally, my opinion is BUY, BUY, BUY if you have 250 clams sitting that you won’t need during the event.
But in the end it’s your call. What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think. But don’t purchase it until YOU are sure. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

So week 2 just started and I can confirm that I have been able to move on with the questline, even though mine was showing as not cleared yesterday (i.e. defeat streak 5, when I was up to streak 8). They’ve also seriously improved Camp Wars – the energy recovery is so fast!

These are no-brainers, IMHO, if you have the 250 clams to spend, as RT says, ‘BUY, BUY, BUY’, I have really curtailed my spending as of the last few events, but I’ve kept a reserve for the clam-generating items, the sooner the better if you do chose to purchase per RT’s excellent table above…the sooner, the greater the pay-back…

Am I right in thinking that this decoration continues to pay out for a week AFTER Camp Wars has finished? ( the event ends 26th July but the Panty Fort pays out until 2nd August?)
It just seems a bit odd that’s all? I wonder if that’s to make up for it being introduced a week after the event started? Or maybe TinyCo delayed its release due to all the issues surrounding week 1?

Yeah, I was looking at dates and being in UK 7/5 is 7th May so it put May in my head, then boom I remembered its American dates and fixed it, but obviously those 2 little Mays wanted to stay!!! May’s are hard to shift in the UK, lol.
