Wet Hot Quahog Summer 101: Camp Pranks

Hi, Ho, Hi, Ho, it’s off to Camp we go!!!

But that doesn’t mean you can skip lessons, so welcome to the first of your Phase 2 Camp 101’s which covers the Camp Pranks.

WHEN WILL THE CAMP PRANK AREA UNLOCK? 

In order to gain access to Camp Pranks in the Event Area you need to be at Pt. 4 of the main Questline Battle Of The Bulge. Once you tap Go you will activate Bus in the event area, this is where you access Camp Pranks.

WHAT PRANKS ARE AVAILABLE?

There will be 2 Camp Pranks you can do, Pranking Camp Firewood and Pranking Camp Belly Flop.

MATERIAL NEEDED FOR CAMP PRANKS

In order to send your characters on Camp Pranks, you will need to earn Bus Tokens.  Here is where you can get it. ****

Bus Tokens: Drop from Crashed Camper Van OR Mort Search Safe OR Meg Search For Change OR Bruce Search For Change

WHAT CHARACTERS PRANK

There are 3 Characters that can be sent Pranking Camp Firewood. These are: Scoutmaster Peter, Kid Quagmire and Counselor Andy.

And there are 4 Characters that can be sent Pranking Camp Belly Flop. These are: B Lee Ermey, Fat Camp Chris, Gene The Cook and Great Outdoors Joe.

HOW DO THE CAMP PRANKS WORK? 

Each Camp Prank has the same Cost but uses different Characters that will be used to go on the Pranks and gain Prank Rewards. However they also take different times to complete, and whilst they are Pranking the Character/s cannot be used for anything else as they are essentially on a “Task” and vice versa. Each Prank has a Guarantee to give you at least 5 Firewood from your Pranking. But don’t worry I explain this all below.

DO I KNOW WHAT TIME IT WILL TAKE? 

As soon as you tap the Bus in the event area you will be able to choose one of the 2 current Camps to prank. Choose the Camp, (here I’ve chosen Camp Firewood), and you will see the Prank Screen with the time listed.

So Pranking Camp Firewood takes 1 hour 30 minutes, whereas Pranking Camp Belly Flop takes 2 hours.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT REWARDS I WILL GET? 

As soon as you tap on a Camp to prank you will see the possible Rewards from Pranking that camp will be, each item has a “Chance” of dropping 1 of 3 items, and above this you will see you earn an always drop of 5 Firewood.

HOW DO I KNOW THE COST?

As soon as you tap on a Camp to prank and hit start you’ll be taken to the Camp Pranking Main Screen. From here will see at the very bottom center the amount of Bus Tokens you will need in order to go prank that Camp.. For either Camp the cost is the same, 2 Bus Tokens.

You can also see to the left of this the amount of Bus Tokens “Owned” at the time.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT CHARACTERS I CAN USE?

As soon as you tap on a Camp to prank you’ll be taken to the Camps Main Screen. where you will see on the Left Side of the Screen the list of Characters you can use for Pranking that camp. You will see you need at least 1 character but you can send up to 3 to increase your drop chances. You will see a tick against the characters you’ve chosen to send and they will appear in the middle of the screen.

If the Character has a lock symbol, it is due to you not having them in the game yet, and  if the Character is grayed out, it is because they are busy on another Task and can’t be used.

HOW CAN I TELL MY CHANCE OF GETTING A REWARD? 

As soon as you tap on a Camp to prank you’ll be taken to the Camps Main Screen. You will see off to the Left the Characters that can be used on the Prank and on the Right of the Screen the Items you have a “Chance” of getting. Each is set right away at a specific “Chance” of Low, Medium, or High.

As you tap on a Character and add them to the Prank, you can see if that increases the “Chance”of the item you want to a better rating. The higher rating, the better Chance you have of them bringing that Item back from your Pranking.

In the end, it is still just Chance of what you will get. See what Character Combos work best for YOU and give you the results you want.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I SEND THEM? 

You can tap “START” after you have selected the Characters you want and if you have the correct amount of Bus Tokens, you will see another screen appear recapping all you have just picked and the results.

It will list how much longer until the Characters return, what Characters were sent, what you have a “Chance” at getting and the degree of “Chance”, the Guaranteed Earn in case you get nothing else, and the Clam cost to complete the Investigation right now.

During the Pranking time you won’t be able to use it the Bus and will have an exclamation mark with a countdown bar above it.

 

And once the pranking is complete a check mark will appear, click on this to finish up the job.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THEY ARE DONE?

You can see the Reward they brought back by tapping on the Bus. Tapping on “HOT” will bring those Rewards into your game.
