Hey Addicts, it’s time to blast into the past.
Yes our old favourites, not, the Weekly Challenges are back. And it’s time to clear out some Locker Room Bullies and Science Experiments as things are getting silly in this second of the Fast Times At Griffin High Event’s Weekly Challenges.
Now for a while these had got easier, then in the last couple of events TinyCo seemed to be making these challenges a bit tougher again and we were seeing a lot of unhappy players who were unable to complete the full set,so it’s hard to predict what we will get in this events set of challenges.
But this week’s challenge, if you should choose to accept it, will be tight but is doable especially if you’ve built up some Rat Tails or Rat Traps.
If you should complete this challenge what will you get? Well you’ll win yourself this Cher’s car..
And as per the last few events TinyCo have also released an image of the grand prize should you complete the full set of weekly challenges, and it looks like they’ve listened to the players who want something better than a decoration for all their hard work, as the grand prize is a Full Character this time around. If you complete all 4 Weekly Challenges you’ll win Michael Pulaski.

I seem to be getting terrible drops on offer letters. I’ve been averaging maybe one letter per three traps.. I thought they’d be easy to finish compared to all the alcohol for McLovin

I’m curious how the general population is doing with alcohol for McLovin. I’ve been crafting 24/7 since unlocking him and I know now that I will come up short. By a lot. I easily obtained everything else to unlock him, but must be getting bad drops on alcohol. Unless TinyCo gives us a break on alcohol like they did with lipstick and rat traps, I will not unlock McLovin. Which raises the dilemma- should I keep going hoping for a lifeline or give up and build the rat traps needed for the weekly quest. Bunny/RT – Do y’all have any inside info on whether TinyCo will help on rat tails or alcohol? Thanks!

Hi Lucy,
I have 41 hours left on McLovin’s timer and need 9 more alcohol and 4 offer letters so I am totally on track to get him before the timer runs. I am hoping to have him before week 3 drops. I’ve made mostly tails this past week, interspersed with some traps to get offer letters, and like you, it’s been 24/7. For reference, I have spent 0 clams on this event so far.

I have 24 hours left and still need 13 so am already past the point of being able to unlock him clam free. I’ve been building them all the time since I placed him (other than building the traps for his other item).

I thought I was on track to get him at a push but just cleared 3 locker room bullies for no alcohol. TinyCo are really showing their true colours with this event. Having such a hard timed character as a requirement for the 2nd task shows a complete lack of empathy for the players IMO.

i thought it was an “Always” Drop but I’m shocked that it’s Common but really acting as “rare” .. i’m getting maybe one vodka out of every 3 jocks !!!! which means there’s no way to earn McLovin in 7 days .. (theoretically it take 6 days to earn him IF an Always drop) … same for Letters but thankfully we only need 20 of those …

I’m at Part 6, and I haven’t unlocked Jock Joe yet.

It popped up for me as soon as I unlocked Joe, which was yesterday afternoon. I decided to stay in the first phase for a couple extra days to collect passes.

Because I have to clear at least this many Bullies and Experiments to unlock McLovin, this Challenge fits quite nicely with my current efforts. So, there’s no reason for me to skip this challenge.

Just used 4 rat traps to continue in the quests and then this challenge arrived… Not thrilled about that, especially since I need all rat tails I can get to receive the alcohol. So have to see what I want more…

I wasn’t able to get started on Week 2 until late Thursday last week. Since I’m a day behind, would the challenge start a day later for me?
I wouldn’t mind trying to get the challenges in order to unlock a new character!

Sometimes the challenge doesn’t trigger until you’re at a certain part of the Main Questline, outwit that usually all see it at same time

RT- Anything in particular to trigger the challenge please? Have the car text but not the quest. Tapping on the image does nothing. Must I have Joe skin first or have started McLovin? I’m still a ways off Joe & haven’t triggered McL coz I’d rather get Joe first. Got part 1 done in time, so wanted to continue. Thx for any info….💜

You usually have to be at a certain part of the main Questline for it to trigger so I think until you move on I that it won’t show. Not sure exactly which part mind you.

It could be because you’ve not unlocked Jock Joe, but message TinyCo just incase something else causing it not to drop.

RT- Thanks for your advice. I contacted TC in game and just kept playing. I have the challenge now. I’m not sure what prompted it but I can confirm the following:
1) I still have not unlocked the Joe skin, though I am not far off now.
2) I reached Part 4 of the questline and just needed 1 more rat tail.
3) I had McL unlocked but I am many light years from getting him.
So, clearly, as you stated, it can trigger at different times for different games. I’m just happy I can try to get the car. Thanks again for your help. I know I would have given up without your help, as I’ve done in the past when I’ve always struggled. You’re a 💎……..💜X
