CHARACTERS
Reindeer Brian (Character Costume): 200 Clams, has 3hr task to clear Lingerie Angel
Should I Buy – Instant buy for me as I love all things reindeer and all things Rudolph, I know 200 clams is hefty for a costume but I’m just glad it wasn’t in a mystery box. Will help you progress due to the clearing Lingerie Angels task, but really at 200 Clams you need to want it for more than just a little event help.
Krampus (Character): You’ll be directed to place him for unlocking at Pt 2 of the main Questline The Fright Before Christmas. Can shop at Tori’s Whispers.

DECORATIONS
Peppermint Schnapps Stand – 125 Drops 2x Peppermint Schnapps every 10 hours.
Should I buy – Just like last the previous weeks premium stands, I’d have said snap it up at 50 clams but at over 100, then I’d think very carefully. If you’ve bought Reindeer Brian, like I have, you won’t need this, as he’ll get you extra Peppermint Schnapps. This is a tiny 2×2 decoration that is only a must buy if you’ve no time to dedicate to playing but plenty money to spend.

This is another new store where you send your characters Christmas shopping. It’s quite simple like the last 2 weeks stores, you just tap on the building and you’ll see the shopping screen.

Once you have two tap Shop to bring up the Character selection screen. But notice to the left of the image above that the store isn’t always available, it also closes for periods. So you can only send characters shopping when the “OPEN” sign is showing. If the Shop is open you’ll be able to select characters to go shopping.

Anyone else having an issue trying to place Peeping Tom Binoculars? Everytime I try to place it, the game force closes.
I have cleared the cache for the game restarted phone, and closed all other apps befire trying again to no avail.
I have reported this to TinyCo, just wondered if it was just me.
(Apologies if this has been reported elsewhere on here)

I see that Jesus is available for a couple of days for 350 clams. I’m considering getting him. Does he still have the clam task? If he doesn’t then the price is way too much.
Could anyone tell me if it is worthy to get him (other than how much you’d like him I mean)? Thanks.

Any reason why they added the Gold Gift Box to our items for purchase in the shopping cart under buildings? It is designed differently than other items for purchase and has no price under it? Is it worth anything? I bought 10 just in case

Think it’s just an oops, its from a previous Chistmas event

Elf Stewie will be released next Wednesday (December 27) according to TinyCo – in reply to my question “what’s with this Elf Stewie”.

When I just sent Lois to shop at Tori Whispers there was an Elf Stuey character to shop with but he is locked. I can’t find any other reference to him in the game (aside from the game loading image). Clicking on the lock sends me to Al Harringtons but there is no Stuey there..

Here’s the thing about Reindeer Brian: In the shopping cart, and at Al Harrington’s, it says he costs 200 clams. However, on the Frequently Asked Questions page, it says he can be purchased for 160. That’s a bit of false advertising, isn’t it? TinyCo should fix that ASAP, or own their mistake, make Brian 160 and refund 40 clams to anyone who’s purchased him already.

It was an error in the FAQ which they corrected. I’m afraid he stays at 200 clams

ooooh Lingerie Angels .. (i.e Victoria’s Secret) give me give me 😀
this Krampus is from American Dad where Stan’s Dad changes into Krampus !!
I will buy Brian as soon as I start Week 3 .. i have enough clams but i wish they made him cheaper – about 150 clams !!

Yes and no on Krampus. Yes it is based on the Krampus from that episode, but they already released a deco of him during the Hauntening event (albeit a yellow version they dubbed “Jaundiced Demon”). However, this Krampus looks to be brown and wearing shorts (unlike the Krampus from the episode who was red-orange and wore nothing). Additionally, when Stan’s father becomes the new Krampus, he still wears an eye patch…
Sorry to nitpick, but it is more a comment towards TinyCo half-assing their game content by rehashing and recycling material. I would have preferred seeing the version from the episode, but their feeble alterations make it feel like they are trying to pass it off as something original.

I grabbed Reindeer Brian as I thought the costume was hilarious (our two dogs don’t particularly care for antlers, let me say).
I also recognized that I had received around 100 clams from the event already, making the (net) price far more reasonable.

I agree with your thinking. I hope TinyCo realizes that if they give a little by way of clams, they end up coming out ahead as people are more likely to use clams to purchase items, costumes, and characters.
LikeLike
If they made costumes 50 clams, and characters 100 clams, WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY more people would buy them. But, TinyCo rarely uses logic in its decision making.
