Worry not Clammers!!!
It’s not the end of days. Nor is it the end of the world. It’s only the end of the Best of 2017 event, and as much as you’re probably thinking “I need more time”, I’m afraid to say it’s running out.
Yes the clock is ticking down on the latest event, and this is where time usually goes faster than the speed of light as you’re waiting for that final drop or two. So now is when you need to keep on top of those tasks and of course start making any last-minute purchases from the limited time items available in store. But most importantly you need to finish unlocking any event characters and outfits, as if they’re not full unlocked they will leave your game when the event does!!!
Remember this event ends on 17th January 2017 @ 3pm PST (that’s GMT-8). After that your chance to unlock Mrs Giant Chicken and Vladimir Putin will be gone.
So good luck to all you Addicts everywhere!!! And please keep an eye out for our End of Event poll as we love to hear how our fellow players have done.

the Wacky Leaks HQ dropped a Fake News while Mrs Chicken didn’t. I bought Putin for 22 clams.
The second week mystery box gave me Fat Camp Chris and not Pimp Stewie 😦 😦 😦 😦 so I got neither Stewie skins that were available 😦 😦 😦

I am probably in the minority but this was one of the most enjoyable events based on what the return was. Admittedly, I play quite a bit and do everything I can to check in every 3 or 4 or 6 or 8 hours (whatever is needed to collect and keep key earners on tasks). Being able to use past characters and costumes was helpful, but I also found the effort to get what was available fair for what you were getting back. I got Mrs. Giant Chicken and Putin with time to spare totally freemium and really had to strategize to get Putin based on acquiring new characters/costumes and not overspending so i wouldn’t be able to get him. But I also got Clubber and Dierdre and Principal Shepherd (who I really wanted) and a bunch of costumes. I thought the game play was set up properly and I am glad to see TinyCo re-release old characters and costumes. Let’s be honest: these characters and costumes aren’t worth anything after their related event ends, so why not dangle them out there? I do have a bottleneck of new tasks but I have been methodically working through them since I got Putin. My hope is this is can be a semi-annual event and TinyCo continues to reach deep in the archives to give people the chance to get things that have already been introduced into the game.

Extensions are extremely rare so I never ever bank on one.

This is the first event I failed to complete since I started playing in August. I played hard but it was impossible for newer players without any boxers for week one. I earned enough stars to buy all the characters available plus eight mystery boxes and mrs chicken. I entered week two and bought the golden dragon and should have enough guns to buy one mystery box this afternoon. Luckily I have no interest in Putin or the week two costumes. But it stinks to fail.

I think I’m going to skip Putin since I have four costumes and Michael Pulaski in the mystery box. Bummer they both need AK-47 as I only have 117 right now. I was able to get the couple from box one that I needed so that’s good.

I always go for the character too. That way you can put them in the retirement home to collect more Stewie Bucks thst we’ll never get to use.
