Worry not Clammers!!!
It’s not the end of days. Nor is it the end of the world. It’s only the end of the Best In Beau event, and as much as you’re probably thinking “I need more time”, I’m afraid to say it’s running out.
Yes the doomsday pop up we all dread is now appearing in our games, you know the one, where it tells us the clock is ticking down, usually faster than the speed of light. So now is when you need to start making any last-minute purchases from the limited time items available in store, and more importantly finish unlocking any event characters and outfits, as if they’re not full unlocked they will leave your game when the event does!!!
Remember this event ends on 24th January 2017 @ 3pm PST (that’s GMT-8)
So good luck to all you Addicts everywhere!!! And please keep an eye out for our End of Event poll as we love to hear how our fellow players have done.

Where in the game do they announce the end date? This is the second event now where it has ended without warning when I was a few clamshells from getting a character. Annoyed! Guess I need to check this page more often

You’ll see it in the game FAQ and event info screen, and on our event overview, and you usually get a pop up to say event is ending soon but not always.

I had Ellie by Friday and Max on Sunday, plus all the costumes. What takes everyone so long to get these characters?

Everyone has different ways of playing, some have jobs that maybe mean they can’t check their game during working hours etc, so a lot depends on the time you can devote

So ticked right now. I needed 1 more ribbon for Max. Max was asleep so I spent 18 clams to wake him up. Instead of starting the multiplier over, it kept it at the 5x multiplier which required 15 tranquilizers (I only had 11). Why didn’t it start him back at 1 since that’s all I needed!! 🤬 I feel completely ripped off by that.

Same exact thing happened to me, only needed one ribbon and I was sure spending the clams to wake him up would be worth it only to have my hopes crushed. Such a let down.

Yep – same thing happened with me. I had 10 tranquilizers and it was sitting on #4 which needs 10 but only gives 4 ribbons. I waited until he slept, woke him up (as event was ending soon) and I expected to be able to use my 10 for the 1 + 2 + 3 gates, which would give me 6 ribbons. But no, it just woke up right back on #4 and I was 2 ribbons short. So stupid.

I sent Tiny Co a message about it requesting either the clams back or the character. Y’all should do the same. Maybe if enough people complain about it they will recognize it was a mistake on their part (as it really was!)

I put it in the event overview post that if you use clams to wake him he comes back at the level he was last defeated at. But unfortunately I think lot players missed it reading through the comments. 😔

I definitely missed it… I hunted through all the posts to see what the clam cost was and I couldn’t find it mentioned anywhere (it was 18 lol). I didn’t see the wake level mentioned, but I was really just focused on clam cost

It was under the Boss Max section
“If you don’t want to wait you can use clams to Awaken him faster at the level he was at when timer ran out”.
In future I’ll maybe bolden it or something so it’s seen as lot players seem to have missed it and spent 18 clams expecting him at 1x.

3 ribbions to get max enough at start of day 4 hours on event 5 hours for him to wake was not useing clams to wake him up oh well i was close

Max fell asleep on me partway through the day and I only needed 3 more ribbons! I decided to spend 18 clams to wake him (thinking he would reset to level 1), but he woke up where he left off at the highest level and I had still 3 more shots to collect. I had to finish a couple quests early to get what I needed. I spent less than 30 clams overall to unlock a full character, so not a terrible trade off.
My only beef with this event was the Max’s character. He shouldn’t have been so difficult to unlock. Also, too many uncommon drops for a short event!!

It’s been like this for a while with Bosses. But I’ll feed back to TinyCo the issue it caused with this event.

Has anyone else seen pictures of the wrong person in conversations? I saw two today. One which showed a photo of Jermome instead of Max, with the dialog of “Bark. Bark.” The Other was a hilarious image of Vladimir Putin instead of Ellie talking about “bleaching”.

I got the same thing. It happens on occasion, sometimes it just doesn’t show someone on one side or the other as well

Same happened to me when attempting to initiate the task for Max, “Have Jerome Recruit K9’s”…knowing Jerome was in Tan Lines, I clicked that, only to bring me to the Joe’s present task…once Joe was finished, I clicked on that task again, and Joe went off to recruit K9’s…

Just great… after watching an ad last night the game crashed and I’ve been getting a load error and can’t open it. Only one fancy bowl thing left for Ellie too. nice 😦

Full character, but if you’ve limited clams you may want consider if you’re a fan of what’s coming next….
