  1. Damn Marbles did not co-operate!

  2. I finished this event (I think the first one I’ve ever completely finished freemium) last Sunday. Having 2 (and then 3) officials to bribe helped! Sometimes it appeared that they reset with no rest time, but that could have been my imagination.

  3. I need like 7 sequins for Lois and I’m low on materials. I have close to 900 medals for Brian. It’s gonna be close but I’ll more than likely have to burn clams.

  4. be done this event with time to spare

  5. Pinkfloydactuary

Officially throwing in the towel on this one. I’d need enough materials to get the bosses up to level 4 and I just tapped myself out for the last round.

  6. I still need 4 Rouge & 8 Sequins…I may get Lois by tomorrow but likely won’t finish the main questline. I’m not too worried about it, Masters of the Universe was so much fun, I don’t mind a dud of an event. I am looking forward to having all those stupid curlers, skaters and officials (3 now) out of my town tomorrow.

  7. TinyCo definitely’s not making it easy: 1/9 for snowballs in the last three drop times…that’s 4 hrs x 9 tasks (3 each for Jerome, Chris and Quagmire) = 36 total task hours for ONE, count it, ONE snowball…and that’s “Common”?? An 11% drop rate, i.e., one every 36 task hours??

At this rate, the Lois costume is impossible without spending money…which is good money after bad in this event…

  8. While I don’t think it’s the case, the question has crossed my mind quite a bit wondering if having a lot of saved clams has made my drop rates worse. It would be really sucky if they have some kind of backdoor algorithm like that. I just never really had too many problems completing events when vigilant until the last several months as my clams number continues to climb since I refuse to overpay on stuff. I’ll ignore that possibility and instead just assume the events have just gotten… umm… less (blank).

    • At one point I felt my drops got better when I had clams but I think I imagined it and just got lucky for an event then it was back to completely random drops.

  9. LOL, I just got a *third* committee official. I’m pretty sure I’m done for this week. Do you think we’ll be able to buy anything with extra medals?

  10. Without spending clams (not going to happen!), given the short time left and the fact drops are still terrible, I doubt I’ll get Lois…no big loss, not a well-designed or very fun event given all the drop requirements…(which require tasks and buildings to ACTUALLY drop items, hint, hint, TinyCo…)

I’m hoping RT was correct in that this event was just copied over from another as it may mean the next one has some promise…well, one can only hope…

  11. just unlocked Lois and she has no item dropping tasks :O

i guess i won’t get the 1000 medals for Brian … but that’s ok … he’s not that essential to me … im at 480 now or smthg close to that nbr

  12. Currently sitting at 22/32 rouges, but everything else is done except Part 8 with Lois costume. I think I’m doing pretty well. 🙂
