Family Guy Addicts 
I generally don’t post in “What the Deuce” but my biggest complaint on the last event, “Too Many Griffin’s In The Kitchen” – the grand prizes were all stuff I already had and I immediately put in inventory!
A bit of a disappointment, but then there was quite a bit recycled in that event (big joggers; etc.).

First the game stalls on tomato drops… Then the game stalls on hot peppers… why all the lettuce?… WTD on these diapers… I have a day and a half of que-ed steak and lobster dishes waiting for guns and rifles so I can get the boss.

Have any of you ever won the jackpot on the Spin ‘n Win? I’ve played it everyday since it was released and the best thing I’ve got was 10 clams, and that was only once.

Like you, I’ve played it from the beginning. I’ve won 10 clams once and 3 clams twice…honestly, I don’t really care about most of the jackpots – they’d only go into inventory. I doubt anyone has won the 100 clam jackpot – that algorithm has some seriously long odds…
It can’t be put into inventory – I’ve moved it out of the way and play it when I happen upon it. I did play it everyday at first, but it’s too frustrating – reminds me of the myth of Sisyphus…

Why can’t I get rid of that stupid wheel? Every 10 spins or so it gives me 3 clams, otherwise it’s experience points or money, both of which are worthless at this point. Yet I try to put the wheel in inventory and I get a message that it’s too important to store. WTD tinyco!

This current event is stagnating. It’s just too much of the same; gather ingredients, make food, serve food. Giving us another food truck isn’t really changing things up enough. I’ll be glad when it’s over with and hopefully something with more substance comes along next.

Yep. Most of the events for a long time have been essentially the same thing reskinned with different objects; items to get items to get items, make one or two items slow to acquire, use the same characters, and throw a ‘boss’ in for good measure. They have a couple different baseline mechanics they rotate in but nothing really different… or fun.
… and wtd on the chili peppers this time!? That one item has been the time gate for me this event and looks like it will keep me from finishing even though I’ve been more vigilant on this than any of the last several events.

I find it super annoying that not only do we always have that stupid TV in front of Peter’s house to remind us of free clam offers, we now have another ugly square button on the right of the screen. Putting these things there DOES NOT make me want to do those offers, it only makes me want to stop playing the game. SMH

The TV for me is elsewhere. It was in front of Peter’s house for a while but then I removed the road. Now I have a small section of the map where only roads are and the TV is now there.

The tv is set to default to the road placed closest to the Griffin house. Plan accordingly. 🙂
I put my Rainbow Puking Vulture on top if it. 😉

If it wasn’t for the event quests giving out clams, I wouldn’t have but a few spin clams (only won 3 clams twice).
I thought the Spinner replaced the TV!?!

My WTD has been stated before, but bears repeating: WTD, TinyCo, for having characters active in an event part of the daily quest for stuff?!? Today’s challenge uses Peter (only one of three methods to obtain tomatoes, and one of those, Seamus, is being used for other drops), Mort (OK, cheese is in abundance, but still and Dr. Hartman (the SOLE source of required mushrooms at this point).
Granted, it’s up to us to decide whether it’s worth the time and effort, but, come on, TinyCo, stop being so lazy. I’ve got 185 characters in Tan Lines cooling their heels (I don’t even remember the last time Cleveland made an appearance, remember Cleveland, TinyCo?), so, I’m sure with a little effort, they could find three characters per day that could be used…

I agree, but I haven’t even bothered with those now for a couple of months. I’m really doubting they ever add any more things for Stewie bucks, and even more skeptical that it would be worthy stuff if they did. It seems they put in Tan Lines with a good plan but have since basically abandoned it. They won’t even add a way to organize the occupants.

On the other hand, you can get the occasional clam out of them, so i do them, but only if the tasks don’t conflict with event tasks. But I agree that they should tweak the system so as to not use the main characters, or even characters with any event tasks. Or To make it simple, only use characters that are currently IN Tan Lines!

That is the game. The only real strategy point is deciding what to prioritize and what order to do stuff in. You have to decide to do the daily task or not if there is a conflict. Sometimes one wrong move and you miss getting a character or costume. Tinyco tries to distract you in ways like this, side tasks, unnecessary buildings etc.
