Family Guy Addicts 
I don’t know if anyone else has this issue but the trees on the right hand side of the map have come back on the last strip of land that was available. Some of my buildings/decorations are surrounded by trees. The issue I submitted to Tinyco (they said they have passed on to the developers) about progress bars still exists as well. Wondering if I should uninstall and reinstall.

For the last 3 days I have been trying to get note books and walking sticks 10 hours left, and I will not complete Watson… The drop rate this game was horrible. 8 hours on steampunk prostitutes and the whole day no drops…

I’m getting same, in all my games, I’m wondering if it’s Facebook resetting permissions after the recent bad press they’ve had over apps harvesting data. Or it’s just a glitch

Lately they’re asking you to collect ridiculous numbers of “rare” or even “uncommon” items, as if they want you to be too far behind when the event winds down, so you’ll have to buy clams if you want to finish that badly.
If I had any say in it, when they want you to get tons of an item, like 91 of something, that item would be an “always” drop. “Common” drops could be around 30-40, “uncommon” about 20-25, and “rare” no more than 10. Asking you to get 50 or 60 of a “common” item in 2 weeks when it’s NOT always dropping or 35-40 “uncommon” items with 25-30 “rare” items required is setting you up for failure.

Got all the prizes. Dr Brian Watson is a wash because of the drop rates. I don’t know where I would put the big grand prize if I got it. I assume the land north of the Griffins will go back to timber.

That space is always reserved for Events, yes. If you don’t have more space to clear elsewhere, or the funds to do so, you can only move or store items in inventory, to make room.

For a while I thought the Holmes ones were intentional! The first post was “I’m close to solving the mystery of why the Kardashians are famous”, and I thought the subsequent posts were listing “all the evidence that Holmes could find”… i.e. NOTHING! (If this was not intentional, I want credit for the idea !) 😉
But when Brute’s posts were all blank, too, I figured it was a glitch.

I have officially given up on this quest. Cleared 5 robots so far and received ZERO walking sticks. I’m done. Good thing I’m finding this quest boring anyway. And sure am glad I didn’t waste any clams on a character. Loved the He-man and the food trucks quests though!

This is a ‘what the deuce’ aimed at myself.
I wanted to check in a hurry how much clams the cost for Watson was at this moment of my game and then i clicked buy. Why? That isn’t what i wanted to do. I tried the trick of disconnecting from wifi and force close the app, But i was to late. +560 clams paid for what i could have unlocked for free.
Luckily i have saved quite a lot of clams during these last months for buying a character i like and want. But my mistake made quite a dent in my clam savings. I wish i was more attentive at what i was doing.

You could try messaging TinyCo, but I think this would be a tough oops for them to fix, unless they can rollback your game until before you did it.

I wonder if TinyCo would consider having a pop box to confirm purchase or use of clams. This has happened to me as well when the game was acting slow and I inadvertently clicked on the unlock icon.

the rare drops are really rare .. although i collected a good amount of rackets from week 1 and my characters are on tasks 24/7 .. i only have 18 hats and 13 notebooks so far ..

Whilst the old characters were on offer I decided to buy Johnny to go with the other vaudeville guy and complete the set. I went in to face space to find that the group no longer exists. Also none of Johnny’s quests involved the other vaudeville guy. What the duece!

What happens to Murdered Meg when this is all over? Despite everything in this game I am not partial to displaying a corpse. I hid her on the other side of the hat by less behind a couple of Douglas for trees. I am hopelessly behind still looking to unlock Peter. I am like a d minus student.

I’ve got her next to the Worcestershire Mystery Mansion, which makes sense, I guess, like a “whodunit” kind of thing, and the Old-Timey Boopity Car is in front, obscuring her face, so it looks like it could be any dead body next to the mansion. I actually wanted to put her near Murder Point, but with bloody footprints and the Redrum Inn already near that, there wasn’t enough space left.

Facebook version is showing “Pardon our Dust” notice. Can’t play there. Luckily I borrowed an iPad this weekend. Unluckily the powers been out most of the day from snow storms. *sigh*
No way pure FB players can finish this week, especially given the high number of drops needed, the overlap of two for some characters, and the drop rates of the items, and the rare drop rates of items attempted using the previously mention items. XD

I know it is now 5 days without being able to play on facebook, feel really sorry for anybody who doesn’t have access to a mobile version as it wasn’t just being able to complete the event and gain new characters, but also it happened just after the birthday gift thing appeared so stopped people from purchasing those characters as well, Wouldn’t be so bad if they offered compensation but they didn’t the last time it happened and was down for a simular time period. Now can’t see it being back up till the next event starts. A simple post on one of their social media pages would go some way to appease people as they would then know what is happening but know they just keep posting silly cartoons while their players just get frustrated at not being able to see what has been posted.

It’s April 18th where I live in the upper Midwest and it still looks and feels like Janurary 18th outside. There’s still two feet or more of ice on all the area lakes when typical ice out is now. The temperature is averaging 18 degrees below normal for the month and we’re in the middle of another blizzard warning! WTD!?

Notebook drops! That is my frustration. I have four right now and they are coming few and far between. I’ve collected everything else I need but these notebooks may stop from me unlocking Watson. I need 27 total rare items in one week. With three ways to get rat traps every four hours that don’t even guarantee rat traps it’s annoying. I wait four hours to hopefully get a rat trap, then I hope using aforementioned rat trap gives me a note book when I clear the rat!

Notebook drops. Bowler hat drops. Flask drops.
These three things are coming up so rarely that unlocking Dr Brian Watson will go right down to the wire. Still need another 15 Notebooks, 10 Bowler Hats and 13 Flasks, to unlock him now would cost 703 Clams. When two of these items are marked as rare, am not holding out much hope.

For me, I usually try and target to get maximum drops out of rare items, as compared to uncommon and common. Getting rat traps is less of a chore once you have all 3 freemium ways to get it: Lois, and Jerome, and the Passenger Train. Have 20 out of 27 of it, with 3 days remaining.
The tough one for me, is the uncommon (or is it rare?) Walking Stick. I mean, waiting for 8 hours to clear one robot, then end up with nothing is a huge disappointment! Only 4 out of 7 of it. Will go down to the wire.
