Family Guy Addicts 
I was just under 200 clams shy of unlocking Ricky Bobby when time ran out, so I didn’t pay for him. But as a result it looks like the entire rest of the quest is shot. I haven’t won a single race in 4 days, apparently because I only have Pete Racer. So even though I have tons of spark plugs, without any sponsorships I can’t get any buildings. At this point there’s no way I can get Pit Stop Chris before the deadline. This is crappy design by TinyCo…

I have been playing this game for I wanna say, 6 years, maybe even longer. I keep my mouth shut with comments and really play as a fan. I’ve progressed significantly and own 142 characters and countless outfits. I spend frugally, mostly a free player but I have spend in the past. I might actually throw the towel in on this game. It is no longer fun cause everything is geared towards coaxing one to spend money. I get it… business and profit, blah blah blah. It is no longer fun to play these events. TinyCo has made drops and earning new characters next to impossible without spending clams and/or real money. Thank you for the many years of fun old TinyCo, **** you new TinyCo.

I dont know if anyone else has had this trouble but wrenches for me are dropping very inconsistently. (as is always the way with an ‘uncommon’ drop item – even more annoying when u need item 1 to attack enemy 1 to get item 2 but, hey ho, we complain about it they dont listen nothing new there)
for me tho, i might have a good day and get a wrench from 1 out of every 3 cars cleared (the other day i got 2 wrench’s in a row!!!) but i’ve gone a full day now without even getting 1 wrench.

I had so so drops when I could clear a Drag Racer, it was the Spike drops that dried up for me

IMHO, it would be no fun if every drop was always and all easy to get. If we did not fail to get things now and then,there would be little or no send of accomplishment when you do. I notice I fell happier when I unlock a timed character due to the fear of missing out. The word word odds the sweeter the victory.

I have the same issue. All my items for Chris are done, or nearly done, but i have only half the wrenches i need. 😐 It is a good thing there is a fair bit of time left on his unlock timer!

Numerous times I have increased my chances at winning races by selecting multiple characters but I’m still losing. I have only one once so there will be pit crew Chris for me in time to get the clams reward.

I saw the pit entry pieces in the shop and decided to make a pit lane on my track but it’s not possible without a two square gap on the main track. The corner pieces are six squares and the straights are four squares and nothing I have tried has worked. This makes the pit entry pieces useless.

I found that annoying too – I ended up creating a little run off and putting the pile of wreckage at the end of it – should’ve bought a squirrel!

I just noticed, purely by accident, that you can (now?) OVERLAP the track pieces, to correct for this. (i.e. If you overlap two straight track pieces by 2 squares, the total length is now 6 squares, not 8!) Woohoo! Off to redesign my pit area! 🙂

Disgusted that they put Cal in a mystery box, ended the event for me right there. I did purchase the 70s Muscle Car and would have purchased Cal outright also if needed be. I will Never spend clams again on mystery boxes, way too much garbage in them and always got burned when I tried them.

Totally agree – putting him in the mystery box rendered him useless – the odds are far greater that you’ll get a deco or event currency and I’m not wasting clams on the chance I’ll get a useless deco…

I can’t make any trades this week as every single race has been a loser. Have run several of the new fast races and the original races too, always with 2 drivers and all lost, no exceptions. Therefore no McBurgertown cups etc for me!

All I want is Cal. I really don’t feel like spending actual cash to buy more clams so I can try my luck at the mystery box. Of course I’ll get everything else before getting him and I’ll be really annoyed.

Finally get to play the game on Facebook today after almost two weeks, but am just not in the mood for the Quahog 500 event since I was not able to load the game due to the upgrading it was undergoing on Facebook…as of now I’ve got seventeen days left…alas I couldn’t ignore the event since I had to load it in order to play the game…am just gonna focus on unlocking the fine arts district and earning the Racer Pete costume…

I wonder if this week is strange because they made changes to make up for the late start of the event. Only one costume this week and already have the buildings! Not much to do. And loading time, argghhh

Quahog 500 is finally live on Facebook ! But there’s stll a glitch. The game crashes when I click on the green exclamation mark on the race track.

Update : the glitch is gone ! But now, I’ve traded spark plugs for Fan Stand 1 and I haven’t actually got it. I’ll contact TinyCo…

The glitch I see on facebook is that I lose very race no matter what I do and only get money bags – fine on android

There seems to be another glitch on the Facebook version in that when you collect the prize you get the words congratulations and you lost at the top of the screen, over the top of each other, but only receive the prize for losing and never get prizes for winning.

On my iPhone, I am not told whether I win or lose, only that I have a prize to collect! I guess, on average, everything is working fine! 😀
