When the event started Lily was attacking with her knock out punch at the stated 50% chance. However, since Saturday, not one of my characters, including Lily have done so. That seems askew,

Kinda ashamed with Tapjoy’s Customer Service. Back during he 2X Clam event for offered I “started” a deal on the NFL Shop that would have gave me 600 clams at the time. A few days later, I made a purchase on the website, but then noticed I did not receive any clams. I contacted tap joy on September 13, and I did not hear back from them until October 12. It took them a whole month to tell me my deal didn’t work, even though I followed everything they said to do. I provided receipts, confirmations, and everything, and didn’t get anything for it..

I followed up with an email, and they sent the same info to me. It had to do with an improper “click” in the system or something like that. They won’t budge. Thank you for the help though, this website is great!

This event sucks. Can’t unlock anything and not spending a million clams to do it. Seems like you gotta have no life aside from playing in order to get anywhere.

You can get everything by logging in every 4 hours or so when awake and most of all, by playing smart – one wrong move and you can miss getting a character

What does playing “smart” mean? As opposed to playing stupid? Wasn’t aware I was doing that. Point is it feels like you have to make this game a life priority or spend money on it to advance, not even fun anymore, just work.

I think he’s referring more to fact you do need strategise somewhat. Many players picked this game up expecting it to be like Tapped Out, where as long as you Long in 3/4 times a day you’ll get all the freemium stuff. This game is much more work is what Derek was saying.

Never played the other game. Besides, isn’t the point of playing any game to have fun? I mean how much strategy and research is necessary for something no one is getting paid to do? And if they are, please share where to sign up because that would be awesome.

And that’s been the main complaint from players since the game was about 8 months old. Players feel the the need to strategise and play constantly combined with random drops tends to make the game less fun than it should be. But I don’t see that changing….

Keep a close eye on the number of clams you earn from Clam TV. All clams I earn from playing demos are lost the next time I load the game. Those earned by watching videos are saved though. I have lost a total of 8 clams so far (2 the first time and 3 each of the next two times). Every time the number of lost clams is an exact match to the number of demos played. TinyCo restored the first 2 missing clams but has yet to respond after the next two times reported. Hopefully they are looking into my theory. In case it matters, I always play all demos first and then watch all videos when available. Curious to know of others have seen this happen too.

For me, the total quantity of demos and videos available appear to be independent of each other so I wouldn’t get the same total if only watching videos. The number of demos can vary but the number of videos is always five. I just played 8 demos and watched 5 videos last night. (Earned 13 clams and then lost 8 the next time I logged in.) Prior to that, played 3 demos and watched 5 videos. (Lost the 3 demo clams.) The only hitch to this is when I watch videos first. The moment I watch the 5th video, the demo button grays out. If their intention is to cap out the number of clams earned at 5 – ok that’s fine, but they need to fix the demo counter then. I don’t want to do the “work” for 13 clams but only get credited for 5.

The app keeps crashing, TINYCO NEEDS TO FIX THIS now, not 2 weeks from today. It’s RIDICULOUS!!! Even the previous event with 5 different areas, 1950’s, 60’s, etc., didn’t crash. So frustrating. At th his point the game should NEVER be crashing.

My game will no longer let me in all of a sudden I am a long-term player (level 86) and have tried e-mailing Tiny co. I have erased data from the app to free space and deleted other apps etc but this is not working either. Have you got any tips or suggestions of what I could do? It loads part way through or brings me to the FAQ crash page? Thank you!!

I haven’t gotten my characters / skins from the last two $4.99 bundle thing. I did the one for Warlord Consuela and now the one for Stewie, but I can’t find either of them anywhere. I check their skins and it’s not showing up. I messaged TinyCo about Conusela and they said they were busy and to reopen the ticket if I needed to. How do I do that? Thanks guys.

Why can’t the make sure that all versions are up and running before starting events, fair enough bugs will happen but it is frustrating that especially with timed events that you are unable to start on time because they haven’t updated the game, surely a little break between events as well would iron out the bugs instead of the constant conveyor belt of events we have now, where one finishes and within hours another has started.

This has been a beef of mine for years. I would welcome a break if it meant (1) an event could run glitch-free or (2) an event could have some new gameplay in it. If they put something else in the game that would keep people coming every day when there isn’t an event (i.e., a district [remember those??] or collecting/spending Stewie Bucks), they could take a break to develop something different and/or glitch-free.
