It’s time to get your scary face on again as the final week of the Halloween event is here and this is where we find out who’s made it through. And it looks like we might need to do some more monster hunting if we want to survive the finale of the Making Of A Monster Hunter event.

GLITCHES & ISSUES
A major glitch that saw some locked out and others suffering constant crashes saw this events start delayed. TinyCo pushed a fix, and then another fix, and then another but it would appear the issue is continuing for some, I’ve continually reported this to TinyCo, but you must also contact them yourself in order they can look at your game. Please email them details of your issue along with your PlayerId tc-support@jamcity.com
If you are having any other issues let me know in the comments.

SWAMP MONSTERS

At Pt. 1 of the main Questline you will trigger the Swamp Monsters in your Quahog. You will have to wait for them to appear before you can battle them and have one of the following characters available, Swamp Monster Lois and/or Peter Rat Alligator and/or Eddie Munster and/or Werewolf Meg.
Battling Swamp Monsters is similar to the battles you’ve been doing all through the event. You will find the Swamp Things wandering your sidewalks when they appears and tapping on one will bring you up the Defeat The Swamp Monsters screen, which gives you all the battle information.
But I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below.
Opponent Stats – Swamp Monsters:
18 Health Points, 3 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters You can Use Stats (you can select up to 2):
Eddie Munster ~ 4 Health Points, 6 Damage Hit, 30% Chance knockout, Heal time 3hrs
Werewolf Meg ~ 4 Health Points, 6 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 3 hrs
Peter Rat Alligator ~ 4 Health Points, 10 Damage Hit, 0% Chance knockout, Heal time 6hrs
Swamp Monster Lois ~ 10 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time ??
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage him, this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill him, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to him will stay until you attack him again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
20 Silver Bullets
SUCCESS Payout:
1 Seaweed(Always)
16 Harpoons (Always)
1 Slime (Always)
Cost To Battle:
4 Monster Manuals (Uncommon) – Get from Quagmire, Joe Study The Enemy, Count Crotchula Peter Do Some Research, Sleeping Gnome, Monster Mystery Box, Haunted Windmill, Electric Loungers, Mystery Slime Mystery Box
Now another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing is it only starts to restore once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8.
FLORIDA MAN

At Pt. 6 of the main Questline you will trigger Florida Man in your Quahog. You will have to wait for him to appear before you can battle him, but he will probably appear sooner than this, and have one of the following characters available, Count Crotchula Peter and/or Franken Chris and/or Herman Munster and/or Eddie Munster and/or Lily Munster and/or Werewolf Meg and/or Peter Alligator Rat
Battling Florida Man is similar to defeating Abraham Lincoln, Victor Frankenstein & Van Helsing, he’s just tougher to defeat yet again.
You will find him wandering your sidewalks when he appears and tapping on him will bring you up the Defeat Florida Man screen, which gives you all the battle information.
But I’ve simplified the information from the Attack screen below.
Opponent Stats – Florida Man:
48 Health Points, 50 Damage Hit, Undisclosed chance of knockout
Characters You can Use Stats (you can select up to 3 to fight him together):
Count Crotchula Peter ~ 8 Health Points, 4 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 7hrs
Franken Chris ~ 4 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 6hrs

Herman Munster ~ 8 Health Points, 8 Damage Hit, 20% Chance knockout, Heal time 9hrs
Peter Rat Alligator ~ 4 Health Points, 10 Damage Hit, 0% Chance knockout, Heal time 6hrs
The rewards you get will depend on whether you only damage him , this is counted as a defeat, or if you fully kill him, this is a success. Remember any damage you do to him will stay until you attack him again.
DEFEAT/ROUND Payout:
20 Silver Bullets
SUCCESS Payout:
32 Harpoons (Always)
1 Vine Lingerie (Always)
Cost To Battle:
1 Slime (Uncommon) – Get from clearing Swamp Monsters, Gator Farm
Now another point worth mentioning again about your character’s Health healing is it only starts to restore once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8.

I gave up. I would set the characters on their missions to get items and when I log back in later, my characters are there doing nothing. I’ve had buildings that drop items mysteriously disappear into my inventory. This event has been a joke.

Not that I really care too much since I won’t advance much further with just one day left, but I was finally going to move into the final week – defeated Van Helsing for Silver Bullet pt. 7, game crashes, load back in and he’s back to full health and my characters are on full heal timers. No credit for defeating him that time or previous times. Nice.

ready for this event to be over let down for holloween event the crashing really hurt it

What’s the point of having 311 useless bats that can’t be exchanged for anything? I wasn’t even killing the vampire bats, I still 12 nets left.

It takes Meg three turns to defeat the swamp monster most times I try. That’s a total of 12 manuals needed for a defeat. I’m not sure I’ve seen her get a critical hit.
This leaves pretty much no manuals to fight anything else without waiting extra time. This could be the worst final week of an event that I can remember. This is a lot of work just to unlock a skin for a character.

Swamp things are impossible. Only Meg can defeat them and that tames a few tried. 4 books per go too. Oh well wasnt that far behind for once but the final week seems like a write off.

What is the purpose of Lois defeating Swamp Monsters? Once you have Lois’ skin there is no more purpose to the event. You have to have defeated Florida Man six times to get Lois and if you have defeated him six times you would have collected everything you would need for any buildings so there isn’t even a need for additional masks. I wish they would have ended the event with a full character like they did the previous event with Horace. At least it gave me something to strive for in the final week. I only played this event through to see if anything was available at the end. Playing for skins isn’t a great use of my time or money I’m afraid.

Also, pretty disappointing distribution of the Munsters characters. 1 freemium, 2 premium, and 1 in a mystery box. It’s the Talladega Nights event all over again.

What’s the point in having Swamp Lois fight the swamp monsters? Once you unlock her, the event’s over.
