My WTD this week has been stated by others previously, but, WTD, I’m gonna state it again…WTD, TC/JC?!? When we worked and earned a deucin’ event building, give us the drops, OK?? I earned the Library, took me a couple of days and 350 hard-earned shamrocks, so drop the stupid books, OK??

The building to drop books should have been available sooner as I’m really far behind on them. Although it’ll probably been infested constantly when I do unlock it.

It didn’t and I got Thelma last night.
Just waiting for the event to end to complete the actions of those caught in infested buildings to continue to level them up or send them to Tan Lines.

You know what nonsense I’m tired of? When you try playing on Facebook, and you get “PARDON OUR DUST! We’re busy upgrading the game on Facebook right now, but you can still play on your mobile device!” They’re ALWAYS “upgrading” the game for Facebook…Why can’t they do that in between events? Why do they always have to do this in the last few days of an event?

yeah, I used to play mostly on FB as I am on a computer all day at work anyways. If they will not support the FB version just end it , you Tinyco bums, just end it already

I’ve hearing alot about duplicate buildings but am i alone in having duplicate characters? And if somebody else has had this problem,has it been sorted out yet?

No it’s an ongoing glitch as well, I covered it in the glitch post. No fix as yet

I placed the Leprechaun building that drops the book and I got this glitch

Anyone else having the issue of the bug icons not being sized or positioned right to match the building?

Try zooming in and out; maybe as you zoom in the icon gets to the correct position. I don’t have this problem, but I remember I had a similar issue the first time I played a mini event with this feature, and zooming in helped. It was with steroid chicks, or something like that. The chicked looked so huge it was hard to see where they were, but if you zoomed in their size was redued and placed correctly on top of the correct building. Maybe it works here.

It was a problem I had on both my iPad and iPhone for 3 days. But then it went away as rapidly and mysteriously as it started. New problem: If I try to place the Fire Creature into inventory, my entire game crashes with an error message. I reported it weeks ago. Tiny acknowledged it’s a known problem, but they’ve been working for weeks and haven’t found a solution. Meanwhile, I’ve got a guy running around my town with his hair on fire. Literally.
Fortunately, it’s a Tiny problem. LOL
Well, it’s a Tony problem. But he’s working on it. LOL

I know they are still finalising a fix to put the missing buildings back in our towns, they tested this on my game and I got completely locked out. So give them time, all they need is a simple message saying you’ve got the missing building glitch and what buildings are missing. If you’ve sent that info give them time to respond. I know it’s frustrating but I’ve been in same boat

Been playing for years, but this is the first time I’ve just given up on the first day of a new week. After all of the week one hassles with the needed buildings being constantly infested and immediately being reinfested after spraying, and lousy drops for sprayers and potatoes, I wasn’t going to go through it again for another week. As soon as Thelma appeared, almost every building needed to unlock her already had a bug even before sending the first character on a task. Hopefully the next event is better.

Gryffons appearing less and dropping less. For awhile, one griffon would drop a ton of shamrocks along with a sprayer, now maybe one in five is dropping a sprayer and two shamrocks only. Adding a task that demands having 30 taters to get thru the amazingly giant knight, they are now nearly nonexistent. The number of books which are uncommon required from one characters eight hour task is what the deuce worthy in and of itself. The “algorithms” are ever not in your favor, dear player…

There is no reason to do the beat the knight 5X task, it is the last week. It is a trap, a distraction.

Respectfully, I disagree. In trying to get items for Thelma we are clearing buildings of bugs, which drop potatoes -granted not as often as we’d like. They accumulate. You eventually get 30 without having to make any special effort. The large Knight is one of the few ways to get large amounts of shamrocks and move through sequence of buildings. I’m looking ahead to the building that drops books to ensure I have enough for Thelma. To ignore this part of the quest line just because it is the last week and it’s “just the quest line” seems counterproductive. I get your point, but I don’t think it is time yet to ignore quest line tasks.

But you have to spray those bugs anyway, and eventually you end up with potatoes, so it doesn’t really require any special effort to do. Just let them accumulate until you have enough. The lack of Cabbages is my bane, at the moment.

While I would normally agree with this, I think at least moving the quest as far as unlocking the Bookstore would really help in unlocking Thelma. Besides, collecting 30 potatoes to defeat the knight isn’t impossible.
I’ve gotten to that point and the bookstore failed to drop books on its first try and O’Brien failed to drop 3 straight times. Not surprising seeing how this event has been going.

It is not a good idea to stockpile 30 potatoes as that delays getting shamrocks from battling the knight, which delays getting buildings needed to get Thelma, thereby delaying getting Thelma (or missing her all together). It is a trick by Tinyco to make you get behind and spend clams

I was able to accumulate the potatoes, and resulting shamrocks effortlessly. It was not a big deal at all. It was no distraction or trap. I got Thelma with mor than a day and a half to spare and a big part of that was due to earning the library. Attacking the knight 5x once yielded many shamrocks. Then could work just on rich knight. Different strategies for different players I suppose… anyway, mission accomplished!
