I beat the prison squad once before with Prison wife and Prison Quagmire. It didn’t count. When the prison squad was walking around I kept getting the error there’s no squads right now, come back later. Killed that group then had to wait until this one appeared. So now I have to wait 6 hrs or whatever it is for everyone to heal, not using clams. Anyone else had thing glitch on part 7 with the prison squad?
I’ll be lucky if I finish this event like the rest 😦

It’s same in Week 3, there’s 2 different Prison Squads wandering. Ensure you use the task Go to take you to the Prison Squad, this will ensure you hit the right one. It’s confusing and causing issues, I’ve told support this.
Make sure you defeat the Prison Squad that needs Metal Bats, and try avoid using Prison Quagmire. But message support also.

I defeated the prison squad but it didn’t clear the task on part 7 of the quest line. I did it using prison Peter and prison wife which required metal bats. I noticed that when you fight using prison quagmire, it requires you to use handcuffs. Could this be the reason it didn’t clear? Do you have to use quagmire or the cuffs?

Yes, there seems to be different Prison Squads, there’s another one in Week 3. I’ve told support this is causing issues. Please message them they may be able to help. i completed it using the Metal Bats Prison Squad

I’m glad I saw your note about the Prison Quagmire task for Part 7 – I had him get a tattoo, but didn’t notice that it didn’t clear the task from Part 7…now I’ve got him making a will, so we’ll see if that works…

That is strange; I just unlocked Quagmire, and did the Tattoo task, and am now ready for phase 3. However, the Will task is one of his personal quest line tasks, so I have him on that now, just in case! 😊

I have a battle glitch with the Tough Thug … degeated him maybe 6 times so far, but the game does not recognize it so I can’t get beyond part 2 of week 2. I notified TC (had a comparable glitch last week and after emailing TC all week, they completed Week 1 for me and gave me 100 clams. No real help if I can’t move forward again!! Why would I spend any clams if I just stuck in limbo with a forever crashing game. Still no word from TC.

Hopefully they can help you again but I know support is very busy. I’ll ask them look out for these kind of tickets as they are urgent fixes to me.

I’m finishing Part 7. Only 2 tasks: (1) Have Prison Quagmire Get a Tattoo; and (2) Defeat the Prison Squad. My goal was to finish Week 2 by COB Friday in Florida. I will finish ahead of schedule — within 48 hours of release — without spending a penny. Yay! I love finishing early. I’m very goal-oriented — and a CONcrastinator.

I’ve got all 4 buildings and am almost done with Part 5. Seems pretty straightforward so far. No more glitches, so it’s smooth. The rollout was rough, but not everything is working properly.
