  2. I started a week late (just reinstalled the game again; haven’t played in a long time) so I’m still on the Phase 1 material. I can’t figure out what this one thing is that the aliens are dropping. They look like blood bags? I didn’t see anything like that for the Phase 2 stuff looking through it quickly, but I might have missed it. I’ve had a lot of problems with loading and crashing too. Deleted a bunch of apps off my tablet but it hasn’t seemed to help any. Also, is Clam TV still a thing? I haven’t seen it in the game anywhere.

  3. I’m right there with you regarding crashing. It pretty much is life the tide….comes and goes….some days are awesome, other days I can’t do a thing. I’ve learned to not use Conseula to vacuum up money….that’s an automatic party foul! LOL IMHO it seemed to intensify for me when the alternate universe came about. Anyway to get rid of???

  4. My game has become so slow it is getting annoying
    I have stripped my Quahog down to absolute minimum and my alternate Quahog are now empty
    I play on my phone or my tablet and is the same
    I have 221 characters going for gold. I just timed myself. It took 5.5 minutes to collect the gold and then a further 32 minutes to get them going again. I have turned the graphics down with no change. Any ideas?

    • I think they’re close to fixing it. My game was painfully slow too. On Saturday it took 8 min 20 sec for the menu to appear so I could actually start sending characters on tasks, and then I needed about 20 seconds per character to send them on their tasks. I had to take Peter out of the QHS – trapped there from before the event, since I had abandoned the feature due to the lag – and it took me more than an hour and a half (no kidding, a full movie and I didn’t finish) to take teh 120 characters out and find him . And with 3 or 4 conection loses that made me restart.
      But on Sudnay evening everything got fixed. Now the game loads fine and I can start playing immediately with no lag or crashes. It worked fine yesterday and today. I really hope it stays like this *knock on wood* It makes me believe that they are really working on it and near the solution. Keep hopes up 🙂

  5. I can’t keep the game open on my iPad, but my iPhone works better. (just not as easy on my eyes)

  6. The lag in my game is so bad it has almost become unplayable. I have worked with customer support to clear my cache and game data to have a clean slate and it is still horrible. Trying to clear and reset characters for QHS is an absolute nightmare. It takes over an hour of solid game time to set the new tasks. I may have to abandon that feature, but I need the medals to continue unlocking characters. Hopefully a fix will be released before the frustration level hit max level and forces me to give up on the game! I’d be curious to know how wide spread this issue is for other players.

    • Its quite wide spread but causing different issues for different players, think we just need wait for a fix now, but I’m not sure when that will be, they know the problem so that’s a start

  7. I can only load the app through my phone, today. Two other PC’s running through BlueStacks just crash trying to load.

    Is it just me, or has the app really become slow lately? I can barely function on the phone, the PC’s are more tolerable, but still slow. I used to be able to send people to “Go for the Gold” at about a character per second. Now it’s more like a character per 10 seconds on the phone, and 3 seconds per character on the PC. Takes me over an hour now to send everyone to “Go for the Gold” vs about 20 minutes before.

    I’d like to see an option similar to Tan Lines, where we can select several at a time to send, or an options to send everyone, except those who have other tasks to perform, back to “Go for the Gold.”

    Another nice option would be to “click their check mark” when they have a daily quest to perform, instead of getting the “We need to do this before we do that” pop up. Otherwise having to potentially click through everyone to send 3 people on a daily quest, especially if you are in a hurry and don’t have time, is a pain.

    Like others, I’m close to having to abandon the game. It’s way more work than fun right now.

  8. This crashing is ridiculous! Emailed Tiny and of course, no response. They then have the audacity to offer characters / items for real money when you can’t even play the game. Takes me ~30 mins to get everyone out of the Historical Society Museum and about an hour to get everyone back in; my phone overheats and battery is drained to the point I need to recharge. Poor move Tiny – your game is about to be deleted

  9. I have powerful phone (Sony Xperia 5, Snapdragon 955 + 6gb ram), but game is lagging. Its annoying.

  11. I agree with awulfclark. I’m still stuck in the last event, so that means that the game just crashes upon startup. I was shut out of the last event, and as for the new one, that goes without saying. I haven’t been able to play for more than a week now. Customer Support has been less than supportive. “I will happily continue to help you”, followed by, nothing we can do. Releasing a new event when some of their customers have infected with their glitch sends those customers a message that they don’t really care. Which is odd, since they have always been happy to take my money.

  12. Well…the crashing bug finally got me. The past few days weren’t ideal but at least I could sort of muddle through getting tasks done even if I had to reload the game a couple times. Today, the crashing has become almost constant, to the point where I can’t do a single thing. Like an idiot I tried a fresh game install, and now I can’t even get past the loading screen without crashing. If Jam City don’t get this fixed SOON I’m afraid this will be the end of the line for me. They had NO ***** business throwing out new events until after the lag and crashing issues were fully sorted.

    • Normally I recommend that people install an Android emulator like BlueStacks or Nox, but I can’t get past the loading screen before it dumps me back to the home screen. Even when I do get in the lag is atrocious. I’ve resorted to stealing the wife’s phone so I can continue to progress through the event, even though the lag is still present. It doesn’t crash though, so I wonder if it’s an Android version issue as my emulators are both on Android 7 while my wife’s phone is on Android 10. My game rarely crashed on the emulators anyway, so not being able to get into the game is a new issue.

      • Update: I can still play on the emulator, but only if I uninstall/reinstall each time I want to open it. Fun times -_-

        • I’m on iOS (iPhone 11). Surely not a hardware issue on my end. I made the mistake of uninstalling and reinstalling the app because the lag and crashing were becoming unbearable, but at least I could get in and do a few things before. After reinstalling it won’t even go past the loading screen. Three days now not being able to play. I got highly lucky and the space condoms dropped first time so was able to unlock Space Meg before the game completely crapped on me. But it still killed being able to stockpile anything for the next phase.

          I understand we’re waiting for a fix, which is fine. My personal belief is they just need to go ahead and suspend the game for a week or two (whatever it takes), and just completely rewrite the code. Don’t roll out Week 2 until this issue is fixed!
