Potential Freezing Glitch – Going For Gold Send All

There’s some game glitches that appear to be linked to the Going For Go Send All feature, therefore it is being deactivated until a fix is found, so don’t worry if it suddenly stops working in your game.

  1. In my game it seems to be the character Petra that is the cause of the glitch for me. I tried sending all and it glitched. Tried sending just Petra manually and then send all, and it worked. Earlier I tried sending other characters first before sending all, but still glitching. I’m going to try a bit more before I make a final conclusion. 😜

    In my game it neither always works nor always fails. I’ve usually got it to work successfully once or twice each day but not established what makes the difference… was hoping someone would figure out a reliable workaround. Is it just the number of characters you send at once… not sure it’s quite so straightforward?! 🙂

  3. In my case buttons are still there. I can extract characters from QHS without any problem, but when I try to send them all for gold game freezes. However in small groups it is still possible to use – limit is 40 characters (2000 coins), but you need to click QHS building manually, not using get all. It is faster, than doing it the old way.

    • I’ve sometimes been able to send over $17000 worth of characters using this feature; however today the most I managed to do successfully cost in the range $4000 to $5000. This is using an iPhone 7, if that makes any difference!

  4. One trick I’ve found to avoid freezing the game when using the send all feature is to not press the send all button immediately after opening up the historical society. I’ll open the historical society, wait 10 seconds, then press the button. Doing this, I can always send over 300 characters on the task without freezing.

  5. It’s ok… I just tappity tap 25, then send all as a group. Then the next 25. Doesn’t freeze up unless I release and send all 230 characters. Still waaaaaaaaay better than before ( I quit several months ago because of this and just returned a few weeks ago) No more swiping. I can wait another 9 months for a fix *shrug* no biggie

  7. It’s back in my game and after using it quite a few times now I think I’ve found the answer.

    Any time I try to use the button while I have event tappables out (critics for example) it freezes and crashes. However, if I tap those first and make sure my town is clear of them the button works every time.

    Can anyone reproduce this and confirm it?

    Hope this helps others and the developers because that button is amazing.

    • I noticed the same thing, but it only worked the first time. I tried the next time clearing all critics and the game froze. But…I found waiting for about 10 seconds between opening the historical society and clicking the send all button is being very consistent and has not crashed the game yet for me. Until I tried just now…game froze! 😦

  8. NVM. Found it. It does seem to be working fine for me, though, and it isn’t deactivated. Get the same slow unloading of the QHS building, but I suspect that’s deliberate as they also have to show the coin animation for each character, as well as do the checks for leveling up.

  9. My solution is to send 1 person manually then it lets me use the send all button.

  10. Playing on iOS, I’ve found that the vacuum button works to empty the building, but the “medal” “send all” button crashes the game.

  12. I never even knew it was active. The last two iOS updates have teased it, but I never saw a button or anything on how to make it work if it was there.

  13. What feature? I saw it mentioned in the last update but I had no button, was this a slow rollout to a few players?
