GAME NOTICEABLE CHANGES

Consuela’s Vacuum has returned

EVENT GLITCHES & ISSUES

Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.

GLITCHES & ISSUES

Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.

HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT

There’s 3 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.

Go to their website and use the ‘Contact’ button: https://jamcity.helpshift.com/a/family-guy-the-quest-for-stuff/

However if neither of these are possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

Here is where you will spend the event currency you collect while playing the game to unlock Buildings & Decorations to use to further your game play in the Event.

Here are the items you can unlock this week…

Causie’s Xmas Shoppe: Chance Drop of 2 Wreath every 8hrs

Snowman

These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events..

As usual will find they wander your sidewalks, you can find them by looking there or using the Squatter Button.

Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Matchstick. Once you have this head to your sidewalks and simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen. Then move the Matchstick until the green target circle is on one, then simply hit the check mark to clear it.

I am seeing up to a maximum of 8 in my game.

The event rewards for clearing them is as follows

For Each One Cleared:
10 Presents  (Chance)
1 Wrapping Paper (Chance)

reindeer

This Boss will trigger as soon as you start phase 2 of the event. This is your Main Boss this week. You will “Fight” him with Shot guns to defeat him to the highest level possible and obtain the most prizes.

You’ll see him wandering your sidewalks with a timer above his head.

Simply tap him and you’ll see the level requirement trade and rewards. Collect the Shotguns necessary for the battle then hit, eh, “Fight“.

Here is the general breakdown of cure costs and rewards.

1X – Requires 1 Shotgun
Rewards – 10 Presents & 1 Sparkle

2X – Requires 2 Shotguns
Rewards – 20 Presents & 2 Sparkles

3X – Requires 3 Shotguns
Rewards – 30 Presents & 4 Sparkles

4X – Requires 4 Shotguns
Rewards – 40 Presents & 8 Sparkles

5X – Requires 5 Shotguns
Rewards – 50 Presents & 12 Sparkles

You have 24hrs to hit him to the  highest level you can before he will rest (cool down). His cool down is 2 hours.

Please note when he returns he will be back at 1x unless you’ve used clams to wake him at the level he went into cool down at.

Ornament hunt mini game

You’ll still need to play this to get Matchsticks and complete the main Questline, so don’t forget about it.

In order to be able to participate you’ll need to collect a Cat. Once you have one just tap on the Ornament Hunt Icon at the bottom of the event screen.

The rewards you get will vary on how many  you destroy at a time.

Per Each One Cleared:
1/2Matchstick (Chance)

There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest Event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

  1. I had to pay 90 clams to finish Phase 1 because of the drop you could only get by using cats. Now in Phase 2, I had so many matches that it was super easy to get all the Stockings and enough presents to pretty much buy all the buildings except for the Wreaths that were heavily timegated and rarer than they said they were. I still need 19/30 lights which are only obtained from Bonnie and the Christmas Hamster Wheel and 16/25 Eggnog which are only obtained from Meg and Dr. Hartman. Phase 3 doesn’t start for 3.5 days but the balancing is weird. I do however have a good stockpile of Shotguns, Cats and Matches because they will only get me more presents which I have over 1k of. Rant Over.

  2. Is anyone else experiencing bad drop rates for Holiday Wreaths? It says common, but I have collected from the Xmas Shoppe 6 times now and only gotten wreaths 2 times. For an 8-hour wait, that’s a bad drop rate in my opinion.

  3. Why would we ever need to beat the reindeer at level 5 to get 12 sparkles? We only need 15, which is the sum of the payout on level 1 to 4.. Sometimes I don’t get the game math..

  4. Looks like eggnog is going to be the limiting drop for this event. Over 2 days, just have 3 collected. Only 2 characters drop, and 8 hour attempts.

    • Yeah slow going – I was hoping they’d drop 2 each time but no such luck

    • Yeah it’s gonna be a long 3 days to hopefully get the rest of those at least the amount is way less than the objects to unlock Peter. If the success rate was 100% it would technically only take just over 4 days to get 25 of them if you were able to check your game every 8 hours.

  9. So … Meg and Hartman dropping eggnog, assuming you actually do the 8 hour task every time it’s up … is 6 per day, with 25 needed… I really hope it’s 100% drop rate or close to it, or we’ll be butting against next week. I’m pretty good about checking times for the long task, but that might be cutting it close.
