My tale of woe is different from the others. I got Christmas Ornament Chris on Thursday. Unfortunately, I got him because I accidentally hit the buy button when I was checking to see how many clams it would cost to buy him outright. It’s a stupid habit but I check periodically to see my progress. It cost 700+ clams. Ouch! I’m sure I would have gotten him freemium since I was on part 7 of the questline. Contacted support to ask them to program confirmation pop-up. Upside…since I didn’t have to check my game I got lots of holiday stuff done.

Oh that’s a real ouch and something I did myself once in the early days of the game – maybe support will be Christmas minded and refund you some of you ask nicely

I did the same with Peter. Contacted support immediately they refunded my clams 630 plus extra 150 to catch up BUT started the week over for me so I had to restart on Sunday of the first week including getting Lois again

Need 2 more eggnogs for Chris; hoping both drop in 90 minutes. If not, I’m sure by morning. Shouldn’t take this long! Eggnog is all I’ve needed for 2 days!

Do w with quest line and stocking up. Have 75 cats, 100 matchbooks, 45 shotguns so I should be set. Always end up with so much extra event currency in these long events, wish they would sell medals for event currency at the end.

Just got ornament Chris today (Tuesday). His unlock took the longest for a character in quite a while. I don’t remember the last one that took almost the entire week to get…..been a long time.

Have not been able to play due to crashing issues for 3 days thankfully resolved now after contacting them but I’m 3 days behind now and will have zero chance of completing the Christmas event.
