CURRENT APP VERSION
Event is running on version 3.10.1 but the latest version is 4.0.2 and it’s glitched.
GAME NOTICEABLE CHANGES
It’s snowing
EVENT GLITCHES & ISSUES
Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.
GLITCHES & ISSUES
Consuela’s Vacuum is glitched again if you updated to app version 4.0.2. Another update is coming to fix this tomorrow hopefully, look out for 4.0.4.
Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.
HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT
There’s 3 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.
Go to their website and use the ‘Contact’ button: https://jamcity.helpshift.com/a/family-guy-the-quest-for-stuff/
However if neither of these are possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

Ship in a bottle hunt mini game
With the new event we are seeing the return of an old style mini-game.
In order to be able to participate you’ll need to collect a Net. Once you have one just tap on the Ship In A Bottle Hunt Icon at the bottom of the event screen.
After tapping on this, the mini game will appear.
You will see on the top of the screen the Rewards you can win from clearing the Ships In A Bottle. The amount of Nets you have available in the Lower Left. The PICK button in the Lower Right. (If you’ve no Nets it will show More) Then in the center, you will see the circle that is essentially your target that you will use to get the Ships In A Bottle. You can also see the target is orange, this is because it’s not on a Ship In A Bottld.
It will turn green once you are on target. Don’t hit PICK if the target isn’t green as below. You’ll just waste Nets.
You know this game well by now, it’s really an “Aim n Shoot” set up. You wait for a minute while the Ships In A Bottle float around, then move the circle to target them. It should turn green when a Ship In A Bottle is properly in target. It is usually possible to get 2, 3, or 4 with one Net, so be patient and wait until you see a group of them overlapping each other and quickly hit PICK.
The rewards you get will vary on how many you destroy at a time.
For Each One Cleared:
1 Green Scarf (Chance)
1 Sugar (Chance)
Green jelly bear
These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events..
As usual will find they wander your sidewalks, you can find them by looking there or using the Squatter Button.
Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Sugar. Once you have this head to your sidewalks and simply tap one of them to bring up the targeting screen. Then move the Sugar until the green target circle is on one, then simply hit the check mark to clear it.
I am seeing up to a maximum of 8 in my game.
The event rewards for clearing them is as follows:
For Each One Cleared:
10 Chocokate Coins (Chance)
1 Captains Hat (Chance)
1 Raisins Candy (Always)
There you have the overall basics to get you started through this phase of the latest Event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.
Pro Tip: instead of trying to swipe around to find the island event area, there is a button in the event info page from the button on-screen. There is also the shortcut button to the net v ships mini-game. Tap the Island button and it takes you there. You’re on your own getting back, however…

I got chef Quagmire from the season ticket, but I don’t see him anywhere? It said he was a character and not a costume.

Check you’re Al Harrimgtons as Chef Quagmire is a costume

Hey Tigger,
I unlocked chef Quagmire through the season pass but can’t find him anywhere. It said he was a character and not a costume/skin. Have you gotten him yet?
LikeLike
I already had him, but he’s a costume so you’ll find it in ALS

Somewhere it said he was a character. I would not have bought the season pass if I had known that – not worth it.
And I duct see that costume in his character, it in the new costumes. Do I have to scroll through the 245 costumes to hunt it down?
LikeLike
It should show in his costumes, if it’s not you can manually look through all costumes, if not there contact game support. You can also tell them about him being mislabelled as a character.

I contacted them, as it’s not anywhere. Surprised no one else had this problem.

A few decorations seem to vanish, some find in inventory others not sure what’s happened but not heard with character/costume as yet.

I think I have like 14-15 Green Jelly Bears walking around in my game. 😂 But then again, I’ve only cleared 3 ever since they first popped up and I’m still on part 3 waiting for Lois to drop the third net. 😜

Nets are not common, they are chance. Twice now Lois has not produced a net, and she is the only character at the start who produces them.

Common is a chance drop, but with only 1 dropping I’d hope for better odds for this common drop

If it isn’t marked ‘Always’, chances are that the more you need it, the less of it you will see.
If it IS marked ‘Always’, chances are the dev forgot to change it when copy/pasting from whatever previous event is being rehashed with a fresh coat of paint. If you notify tech support, the next time you look at the game guide it will have been corrected. They may actually drop a couple on your game if you had been nice and/or respectful in your comment.
I love the ‘Rare’ ones that are possible drops from walking characters you just tap, like the zombies in the last event, where once you have all that you need they almost become an ‘Always’ drop.

what does it mean by marshmallow chris being able to reject the bears?
LikeLike
He doesn’t, he has drops for Candy Pirate Peter and Citrus Stewie who have tasks to drop Nets, who you can use to get Sugar, to then clear the bears
