My cauldron drops have been horrendous. I am currently 8/15 with less than a day left. All other tasks for Cleveland are completed.

I currently have two of five (grrrr) fortune’s favours, and twelve of the fifteen cauldrons required to unlock Knight Cleveland. Everything else is clear now, and the rest of the event mechanics are useless now. It’s just pray for cauldron drops (which have not been consistent), and somehow magically hope I get repeated critical hits against Wizard Carter.

I am on part 7. I need one more cauldron to earn Holy Knight Cleveland. I got lucky with Brian on some hits to defeat Evil Wizard Carter. I had defeated him three times already and on my last battle today, I earned two of the cash to finish that part. It has not been fair to have just one Freemium character to defeat the Wizard 5 times, with a 7 hour heal time, with minimal damage with each battle. I should … or I hope … to get one more cauldron before Wednesday, but drop rates have not been great.

Looks like they just reduced the number of Fortune Favors for unlocking Cleveland to 3. I was on my way to defeat Evil Wizard Carter for the 3rd time and afterward it showed that I’ve fulfilled enough Fortune Favors to unlock Cleveland. I thought I was gonna have to shell out clams to unlock him knowing I won’t have much time left for 2 more Favors.

Not sure how I pulled it off but I’m done with the event. Got all freemiums and finished the questline. I did do a TON of surveys to get barbarian Peter the final week though, plus I have the fast forward feature, so sure those helped slightly, but yea, feels good to actually complete an event after so long.

I’m on part 7 which will probably be as far as I get as it seems a hopeless task to unlock Holy Knight Cleveland. 😦

Finished event this am (Monday), except for Cleveland’s quest line. I did not buy the season pass, but I did purchase barbarian Peter and wow did that seem to really help- especially with battles, and even more so in the last week. I’m curious if any of you got the season pass thing and if you did do you feel it helped you much in the long run?

Everything is done except beating evil Carter 5 times. That is IMPOSSIBLE for a freemium player like me! The only fighter Brian loses all 8 energy every round, whilst Carter only loses 2mor 4 out of 24. So at best a minimum of10 days are needed to win the required 5 times. Onl 7 days are available. Few will refresh Brian’s energy 3 times every day unless insomniacs. I won’t spend 3 x 96 clams to cover the 3 missing defeats. Very thoughtless game design

I’m on task 7, only the Cleaveland task is still open.
I have defeated Carter 2 times completely but will not manage to do this 5 times, maybe 3 max 4 times are possible without buying other characters.

I currently have everything finished with the exception of
2 fortune’s favor and my current wizard Carter boss is at 16 health and I can attack again in 2 hours. The strategies I tried this event paid off as far as trying to collect as much of every item in the school of magic that I could, I took out as many as I possibly could of Minnotaurs and Griffins the first 2 phases and then the same for dragons so I built up a very good stockpile that has been useful for magic flower into potions. The VIP season pass was definitely worth it to me as it was useful in so many ways and those 5 potions really helped out this phase.
I do think is absolutely ridiculous to require 5 seperate fortune’s favor and only have Brian as available to fight, especially considering he only has a “life level” of 8 and then add in the 7 hours in between fight times is the worst. Either they needed to adjust the stats between he and Carter or allow an additional player to fight Carter. The ONLY remotely positive I can see is that it only takes 1 potion per time but that isn’t very reassuring considering how many times you have to fight him to just take him down once.
I fought him for the 1st time Wednesday and defeated him Thursday and then got my 3rd defeat early this morning. I think it will be a toss-up if I can get that 5th one before the event ends. If I can’t I will probably cough up the 96 clams for it but only because of the clam prizes that were given out in Season Pass, otherwise that would be past my zone of what I’ll fork out for a single item. I think it’s been a really fun event, I had guessed the last week would be pretty difficult and when I saw the 5 fortunes favor needed and Carter’s health number I got flashbacks of Bachelor Chris. The only positive this time is you can buy the missing item, you couldn’t with those stupid sharks teeth and Im still annoyed about it lol.

Just logged on to try and defeat Carter for the third time (He had 8HP left so needed a crit). I got it and then noticed it unlocked Holy Knight Cleveland even though it would have only out me to 3 fortunes so they’ve obviously adjusted the fortune requirements but not sure how many are needed.. hopefully it helps most people unlock Cleveland tho.

Got Knight Cleveland and finished questline Sunday afternoon. I managed to defeat Wizard Carter before they “fixed” his drops, plus I bought Barbarian Peter early in the first week.

Only defeated Carter once. And cauldron drops are awful. So really just waiting around for this even to end.

Need to beat wizard Carter 4 more times (only beat him down 1 time so far), so this unfortunately looks like mission impossible unless the targets get adjusted to a more reasonable level

Basically at the end but absolutely no chance of finishing as I need to be Carter 4 more times and only have Brian who does 4 of 24 damage, gets KOd every time and has a 7 hour heal time. Also need 5 more rare cauldrons but they will come.
A really well paced event, much better than usual, until the disappointing end which is badically premium unless you went for Carter first before trolls while the drops meant you only needed to beat him once.

Part 7, but it’s hopeless to get Cleveland The defeat Carter five times is a killer without a premium character or two since it’s at best 2 days to do it with Brian Aline. The drops for the Troll Cauldron is the other bottleneck. I’ve gotten 2 drops since Wednesday. A disappointing final week after a nicely paced other three.

All I have remaining is cauldrons and defeating evil Carter. Cauldron drops have only given me 6 and am working on defeating Carter for the 2nd time.
