CURRENT APP VERSION

Make sure you’ve updated to the latest App version for your device.

GAME NOTICEABLE CHANGES

Some if you will see the Time Travel feature that is being tested.

EVENT GLITCHES & ISSUES

Event buildings are sometimes locked for random players, only TinyCo can fix this so let them know through your game support.

GLITCHES & ISSUES

Loading is extremely slow at this time.

Game crashing on older devices, and those with older/outdated software continues, it may be they can no longer handle the game. What I can tell you is if your device runs on 2gb of ram you may struggle with crashing, if it has less than 2gb ram it probably won’t run at all.

HOW TO CONTACT GAME SUPPORT

There’s 3 ways to do this, The first and best way is through your game main menu, select Help & Support and then tap ‘Contact Us’.

Go to their website and use the ‘Contact’ button: https://jamcity.helpshift.com/a/family-guy-the-quest-for-stuff/

However if neither of these are possible, then you can contact support via email. The email address to use is – support@jamcity.com

Toxic Lake

Here is where you can exchanges. I’ll update this as I get new exchanges.

This is the exchanges I’ve seen in my game so far:

8 Onions = 3 Garlic Bombs
9 Onions = 3 Garlic Bombs
12 Onions = 3 Garlic Bombs
14 Onions  = 3 Garlic Bombs
20 Onions = 3 Garlic Bombs

Character/costume battle STATISTICS

Blob Fish Meg
Health Points:
 8
Damage Hit: 4
Chance Knockout: 40%
Heal Time: 7hrs

Multi Eyed Brian
Health Points: 10
Damage Hit: 4
Chance Knockout: 20%
Heal Time: 7hrs

Slime Chris
Health Points: 12
Damage Hit: 6
Chance Knockout: 60%
Heal Time: 7hrs

Remember if you send more than one character to attack, which I recommend if possible, the damage your opponent does will be split across them. So if you’ve 2 characters fighting, they will be hit for 2 damage instead of 4, unless it misses or does a knockout blow then the damage will vary.

And another point worth mentioning about your character’s Health healing  it only starts to heal once it hits 0, so if you’ve 4/8 Health it will NOT go back up to 8/8 over time, it will only start to restore once you’re at 0/8. You can restore your character’s Health instantly but it costs at least 64 Clams, so I don’t advise it.

Zombie monkey

When you start the main Questline you will trigger these in your Quahog. You will have to wait for them to appear before you can battle them using the characters below.

Battling these is similar to the battles you’ve done in previous events. You will find the them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear,  tapping on one will bring you up the attack menu, which gives you all the battle information.

I’ve simplified the information from that screen below.

Stats
Health: 8
Damage: 4
Knockout: Unknown

Cost To Battle: 1 Body Spray

Characters/Costumes you can use to battle (you can select a max of 2): Blob Fish Meg, Multi Eyed Brian, Slime Chris

Rewards for defeating:
15 Creepy Pastas (Always)
5 Onions (Always)
2 Infections (Always)

Reverse merman

These are the little baddies this week of the event and are quite simple to deal with, it’s just more of the tap, aim and fire we’ve seen in previous events. Before you can clear them you’ll need to get a Tin Can.

Once you have one you will will find them wandering your sidewalks, you can either find them by looking or if you have a big decorated town use the Squatter Button. When they appear,  tapping on one will bring you up the targeting screen. Simply move the Homework until the green target circle is on one to clear it.

I am seeing up to a maximum of 5 in my game.

The event rewards for clearing them is as follows:

For Each Cleared
5 Creepy Pastas (Always)
1 Fish Bait (Always)

There you have the overall basics to get you started through this week of the latest event. Where are you so far? Anything particular you like the most? Suggestions or tips to fellow players? Let us know.

  1. I have a quick question about the Season pass. I’ve noticed that in the last events, the reward that used to be clams in the premium tier now has two price options, clams or outfit. Could anyone tell me if you get to choose which price you want, or if the game does for you? Like, you get the character/outfit automatically instead of the clams if you don’t have it. Thanks.

PS: I was not expecting to see Resident Evil in the game.

    • In my B game where I don’t have all stuff I got the outfit instead of the clams, but it wasn’t a choice, just awarded it.

    • In the last Season Pass I had half of the characters/costumes already and half I didn’t. It just awarded me clams for the ones I did have and I got the character/skin for the ones I didn’t.

    • Ok, I’ll check all characters/outfits again to see what I have, and then think what I’ll do. I’m nor sure I want them all, but I kind of need Swamp Monster Lois to complete a clam set. But being certain of what I’ll get helps a lot to decide. Thank you both!

  2. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing that the game seems like it is zoomed in a lot. Like when you set your phone to zoom and bigger font if as you are having difficulty with your vision.

  3. Is construct Brian from the super hero event years ago? Like Brian as a green lantern ?

  4. It bugs me that characters like Slendermire have no event related drops. You’d think you could get yourself an advantage by getting a character by the VIP line. It should be no different than the premium character Slime Chris. They should both have event actions.

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this. Hopefully this will be corrected in the future.

  5. Hacker Meg should drop 2x the materials since she takes twice as long as the other characters do to get the tin cans. Just a thought.
