Player = 40 (Means nothing) missed opportunity my TC…should of had small clam bonus
Characters = 25 for Peter and 15 for all others..helps unlocks tasks but also missed opportunity again.

Do we know how many xp is needed for each level? I think they should include this so know know much much to go and what is required to move levels

No exact number known….just watch how much the bar moves with the completion of each task…higher levels take longer to reach the next level.

I have the opposite problem of the previous poster. When i try to log into Facebook, the game wants to take me back to a previous game, where I was far below my current place in the game. Is there any way to log into FB, and maintain the game I currently have going? thank you!

I got a new phone and re-downloaded and started a new game. When I try to log in with fb it tells me that if I continue it will replace my old game with my new one. Is there a way to login to my old account? Because it is only giving me the option of replacing my old game or canceling the login…

When you played the “new” game, then went to the account info screen to log in…you will get a msg the your “level 1” game will be lost…..this is normal. Just continue and your stored original game will load.

Hi I just had a quick question and honestly im not even sure its related to the Butts event or not, but recently while visiting one of my friends town to collect coins and butts, I noticed that here Peter character was dressed in a Gold Suit and was doing an action related to that Gold Suit and so I was wondering what costume of Peters has a Gold Suit action? I have them all except the Clown Peter, so is it a costume prize from the Butt event, or is it an action from a normal costume that ive never noticed before? And if it is a prize from the Butt event how can I earn it? I want a Golden Suited Peter too, lol. Please help.

You almost got the name dead on…what you’re seeing is “Golden Suit Peter”. It is only available on Apple devices (plus the golden pool). When TinyCo negotiated the contract to sell games through iTunes, Apple requested them to create some exclusive items to set them apart from Android. They made the pool and “outfit” to appease them.

I know that this game doesn’t work without any internet connection…
When i tried to play it today, it kept on crashing. I tried closing my app, but still, it doesn’t work. I figured if i close my phone, it’ll be refreshed and it would reset my phone which would hopefully solve my problem. However, whenever i try to play family guy, it kept on crashing and it doesn’t open. I always just see the opening page of tinyco and that’s it.
What irritates me is that i have progressed a lot and my game is pretty much in its momentum. What could i do? I fear that i might lose my data if i delete and reinstall the game.

If you linked your game to Facebook or Google, or if you made an account with TinyCo, your game has been saved on their servers. It’s OK to uninstall and then reinstall. 🙂 You’ll find tips in this earlier post:

The games are stored in the TinyCo servers and are safe. Just go to the main menu, select “Account Info” then “sign in as someone else”. Enter the information of the other game and it will load. If you are switching between Facebook or Google accounts, there are more steps and explained better in the “Help & Support” section, select “Account Help” and pick a “How do I switch” topic that matches your account type. 😉

First try a hard close. Then an uninstall/reinstall (but only if you created an account or linked your game to Facebook/Google). Hope this helps

As long as you linked it to an account or made a user account, you will be fine. When you restart the game, it will play just like “day 1”, just play until you get to the chance to open the main menu. Select “Account Info”, log into your old account…and you should be good to go. There is info in this earlier post regarding uninstalling/reinstalling and contacting TinyCo. 😉

Yeah, some devices are too slow to process it. I’d say you’re using a single core or a weak dual core. My phone won’t load friends, but my quad core tablet does.

I had an IPad through work, and had to leave it for the summer, and want to play on my phone, but when I downloaded the game, it made me start all over.. If it’s through my Facebook account, why can’t it be on multiple devices?

Play the new game until you get to the part where the main menu appears, then open it and select “account info”, enter your Facebook account info, you’ll get a warning screen that you’re about to lose your level 1 game…just select ok and you should be back in your original game.

Nevermind. I closed every other app, restarted my device, waited for EVERYTHING to load upon entering the alternate Quahog and then was able to continue. Might work for others.

Welp I just started and apparently have ‘the neighbor glitch’ on my ipod. Is the game just not supported for ipod 4th gen or what? Oh well, back to Tapped out it seems. Sad, I liked some of the animations in this.

After reaching level 40 I noticed that my Xp bar is not moving at all it’s been two days and it’s still not moving off the start if this is to continue I’m never going to get to level 41 is any one else having the same problems ??

Level 40 is the top level so far that is why you don’t get extra ep so till there is an update you won’t gain more exp

I had the pyramid for a while and progressed pretty far. Dropped my phone in water and fried it, got a replacement from Apple today and restored my phone and apps. Had to update to the most recent version of fam guy (just various bug fixes apparently). When the game loaded the pyramid was there but it did not load the picture of it (or the museum) then a message popped up saying something along the lines of reload the original version of the game, I had to press okay, and then the pyramid, along with that gap in the trees, disappeared. Still have pyramid related quests and all my moon idols are gone!
2 questions really:
1. Can I delete the app and reinstall and still keep my stuff.
2. What the hell is with that? Anyone else have this problem?
Final note is I backed up my phone very soon to dropping it in the water (luckily)

I can’t clear the bulls. I just unlocked Brian and I think I fulfilled all A Whole Lotta Bull tasks some time ago. Am i mistaken and do the bull tasks still have to be released? Or do I have a glitch?

Can you tell me why I keep getting this message; load error there was problem loading this save game; some placeables are out of bounds? I have unstalled an reinstalled the game forced stoped the game and still can’t get it load.

Honestly, I don’t know. Your best bet with that is to contact TinyCo and let them know. It might be a config issue with your game that they’ll have to address.

I had made it to level 21 and just now went back into the app to play some more and it started me over from the beginning. Like I literally lost everything. My accomplishments are still listen in the Game Center but the whole game has rebooted. Anyone had this happen to them or know of a fix?

Help me I have a loading error! On loading screen it loads all the way but a pop up with the cleaning lady appears it states : bogus objective id: kingbuttt (and then some numbers). When I hit ok it just reloads and the pop up loading error returns. I cleans out my memory on my phone incase that was the problem but it’s not .. I realize there is a special king butt mission happening for a limited time I want in on that HELP ME 😦

When I visit olieland it has the town split up into nice little sections. How do I get all the roads to split up my town into different blocks? Dose this happen at a certian level?

make sure you have the most up-to-date version (no updates in your app store). Hard close your game and restart it. See if that helps trigger it. If not uninstall and reinstall the game. 🙂

I have two major problems
1. Being my game just glitched and took my clams they went from 206 to 193 with no explanation there was no pop up or anything my screen just fuzzed and they was gone?
2. I have not been able to successfully visit my social part in so long I’ve forgotten what it looks like! I mean I only have my ollieland and one other person but still.
I have contacted tinyco. Through the app and they said that the social should have been fixed in latest update but unfortunately wasn’t on mine, so I contacted them again just a little ago to inform them of the lost clams and the social again.
Is anyone else experiencing these problems? They seem rather terrible especially the glitching which has even went as far as restarting my nexus 10 several times. And now actually taking hard earned clams???!!

I know social has been having issues, but this is the first I’m hearing about the missing clams. Hopefully they can restore them for you!

No glitch happened or anything significant at all, but I have came back to the game to find clams missing twice, about five both times. When I contacted them through the game they told me there was no proof of a bug or record of loss so there was nothing they could do for me. I have 268 clams and been trying to save to get consuela, but everytime I get closer they take away.

Come to realize…I must completed all the missions so far for the full moon quest. I remember I did temple of booze pt8 when i take out 100+ mummies then help quagmire with the old mummie lady all the way up to part Three… maybe I gotta wait for another update. But these were suggestions from fellow gamers. So if you are able to help me start the 6 of 7 mission for the journal entry about the pyramid..I would be thankful. Keep up the good work.

Im level 18, just got lava reward for 11000 idols. Now when i load game it loads new file i had to make after reinstalling but when i go to connect with facebook, midloading it stops and tells me family guy has stopped. Same thing goes with the help and support option. I jist want my account to work as i almost have cleveland please help fix!

I am unable to link my game on my tablet with my phone. When I try to login with facebook it says this account is associated with another game. I also tried with Google+. It connects with the “new” game on my phone but does not load my currect game from my tablet. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Are you clicking sign into an existing account? Something as simple as that might be causing the issue.
If you are and you’re still having the problem the next step is to contact TinyCo & let them know it won’t let you sync to an existing game. They should be able to help you restore it on your other device:

What is the benefits of adding friends besides getting small rewards when you visit them? Do I benefit when someone visits me (like Farmville)? Don’t really need the coins so what gives here?

There are various items you can earn from visiting the friends. Moon Idols right now, Clams standard. That is really it for now. I don’t know if they will incorporate more in the future with having friends. Only time will tell.

How to Short Fix Crashes, The method i’m using to get this app working is: open Task Manager and stop all applications and clear the RAM, then turn your phone off completely and restart, when restarted let the phone connect to internet via wifi or 3g and also let the sd card mount, then load this game first, it should load no probs, but if you come off the app it will crash again, so you have to repeat the actions above, hope this helps and this defo needs fixing.

Hey everyone, I just started getting this error today and can’t seem to find anywhere about it and how to fix it. When I open the app (I use iPhone btw) it loads half way then says to upgrade, but my game is already updated, so I tried deleting and re installing and it still happens when I log into my account. I tried going on my partners android and it logs in fine, it’s just on my phone. Any solutions?

Android is ahead of iOS so if you’ve logged in on a Android device your game goes to the newest version. However, when you try to go back to an iOS device it’s not at the same level. So essentially your Quahog is higher than your device…until the iOS update hits. So you’re unfortunately locked out on iOS until that new update hits the App Store. It should be hitting soon, but we’re not sure as to exactly when.

I’m playing the “family guy quest for stuff” game app via cell phone. I was wondering if I select “clear data” in the game app settings, will it delete all my game progress or is everything saved on a server.

No it should just clear your cache. Your game is saved via your email account (or Facebook), so as long as you have your account linked to one of those you should be good. 🙂

i played for a few hours when my phone crashed from a diff issue, i reset my phone and re-installed this app fresh, i had already logged in via facebook the first time, when the game started the second time i had to follow the story from beginning until i got to the part where you log in with fb, it then says you already have account, replace or cancel, so in the end i had to click replace, now the game wont load at all, What’s going on? and how do i log in at the beginning like in Tapped out????
