hi, seems with the newest update, I cannot get to “Watch Videos” again for free clams, on a daily basis. I used to get 7 clams free per day, by watching 7 videos, but now, the “Watch Videos” part is grayed out. is this an issue others are having? I asked Tinyco within the game but got no response as yet.

I quit playing the game in 2016, after playing from launch, and recently decided to start back. I had always backed up my game with Facebook. After the install, I logged in with Facebook, and while most of my stuff was there (current level, coins, clams) there was a lot of stuff that wasn’t. All the Districts are locked (I had already unlocked all of them) and a lot of land that I had previously unlocked is locked and needs to be cleared. I have NOTHING in inventory, and I had unlocked a lot of characters and buildings since the game first came out……What do you think happened to all of my stuff????

Sorry I’ve no idea, if you’ve played through the tutorial and are seeing your Clams etc I’d expect you’re charActers and inventory to be restored as well. Have you tried contacting TinyCo?

No, I haven’t. The weird thing is, is that I have 2 random characters that I collected years ago walking around (ie., Rupert, Kool Aid man). And another strange thing is that I have alot of Crippletrons all piled up around the edge of town……..I guess that’s what I get for quitting for so long.

The game can take about 7 minutes to load on my Android device. Are you trying load a clean install?

Used to play this game in 2014, on an iphone 4 got to level 16 then decided to stop playing. had all progress backed up via facebook login just to be safe. Recently tried to reinstall and sign in via facebook and keep getting “Load error…All configs empty for Giftboxprize”.
Have tried contacting the powers that be to get a standard thanks for the info….that was 5 days ago, no reply no nothing since…..any ideas guys?

I completed a task and the notification won’t go away. Whenever I try to click on the character, the same task pops up, even though I already finished it. The only way I can get this character to do any task is if I’m unlocking a different character and doing that quest, and if there is another character doing a task in the same location, I have to wait until they’re both finished.

I tried to do that. I was playing on my laptop, so I went though the settings. Instead of fixing the issue it deleted all of my progress, including the money that I spent for clams etc. Now I really don’t know what to do

When trying to watch videos for clams. I click to watch the video. The video plays to the end. The “X” never appears to be able to exit and collect the clam. The only solution is exit the game. I play on a I-Pad.

I have a problem with game cancelling characters’ actions. I send them to do their actions, leave the game, come back and all of them just walking around. Very annoying and I can’t finish any missions in time. Anybody have the same problem? How can I fix it?

Does this happen when you using data or wifi. I have issue on data only. To get round it I put them on task, then closes game, force close game completely, then open it again to make sure it’s synced them on task

Sounds like the action was not saved before you exited. I wait a couple of minutes before exiting the game to make sure it has saved/synced up with the mother ship. I am always on wifi right now since I cannot play via phone for unknown reasons.

I am stuck in am update loop, when I go into the game it tells me to update, I click on the link and takes me to play store, it only says open not update, I open and it takes me to the loading screen and then tells me to ipdate.

When I open the app, it loads but has a pop up that says “event ending soon”, when I click ok for it to reload the game with the new event, it goes to the same pop up when it reopens.

Are you on IOS? I had 2 updates. Are you on version 1.67.1. I got stuck in this update loop on Tapped Out, manually closing App Store and restarting it eventually let me get the update.

The game has not worked on my phone since Stewie Holmes began, so I’ve been playing via Gameroom or Facebook until they get the issue fixed. One thing I can’t find is Clam TV. Is that a mobile only feature?

Two more questions 1) Jailhouse Meg Gives drops a blue rectangle item in addition to coin and XP. What is it and what its it for? 2) when I was collecting items, coin and XP, I also collected a “Pow” item that was dropped (a cartoon POW sound effect balloon) what is that for. Do any of the fellow Addicts play the game on an IPad Mini 1st Generation? I’ve been playing for about 3 years and always played on my IPhone 5c (with no problems) but decided I’d like to play on a bigger screen! However I downloaded the App but it doesn’t get passed the load screen. The iPad is 16gb so I thought it would have enough space. Have tried all the hints you give on the site but thought I would Ask other Addicts! Also play Tapped Out and FWOT with no problem on the IPad. Hope someone man help. Thanks.

No unfortunately! I get the loading screen then the screen goes black ( I can hear the music for about 2 seconds then it crashes)!! I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling but nothing helps. When I first got the IPad I didn’t have any other Apps or photos on so I thought it would be ok but it wasn’t. I’m confused as I don’t know whether the problem is the IPad or the game. Other apps work so why not that. That’s why I asked if anyone else had the problem. Thanks.

I know QFS is a heavy game to run, my oldest iPad still runs Tapped Out and loads FWOT but won’t load QFS. So it could be iPad just can’t run it, but maybe others with that model could advise

Can someone point me in the direction of using the nuke button? Does anybody use it and if you do, how and why? I do not have all of the real estate unlocked yet and I’m curious to know if there is a benefit to limiting buildings to an event. I know it will reduce coins and xp from nonessential buildings. There is no nuke button in this game, it’s Tapped Out that you can nuke your town to store everything. The only reason people limit buildings in this game is stop the game crashing on some devices.

On the task icons do the different backgrounds mean anything?
Peters is gold and Seamus and Quagmire are two other different colours. Do,you get clams for completing the tasks with gold background?

No, they don’t give extra rewards, they usually identify main Questlines from side Questlines etc. Obviously in events main Questlines are your priority but there’s no clam reward unfortunately, we have asked for it, but nope.

Do you know if they allow you to buy characters again if at the time of the offer you choose not to buy them? For instance, say they offer the Chinese Dragon you can buy for money or clams, and you choose not to buy it and the offer ends. Will they offer it again sometime in the future? Or is it a once it’s gone, it won’t come back type of deal?

Hi RT. Yes I filled in a missing claims report on the offer page, got ticket #6942913 and then emailed screenshots showing I had fulfilled the requirements. I have also since messaged Tiny Co but haven’t had a reply from either. The offer was for Ladbrokes Casino – deposit £10 and play a minimum of £10 on slots to get 1497 clams as it was on a double clams promo. I deposited at 22.42 UK time on December 12 and had played £10 (and won!) within the next hour. User name in the game is ********.

Yea bad luck! I filed a missing clam report (scroll all the way down to the bottom of the offers page to “missing clams”) and they are saying they can not verify. I have email confirmation of the purchase, screen shots of the app showing the purchase, and it clearly shows on the missing clams page that I downloaded the app 2 days prior. I re-submitted more pics and haven’t heard back today yet. Definitely getting frustrated. My purchase was through Hopper.

Finally got my clams!! It took multiple submissions and every screen shot possible showing my purchase, with follow up emails to get them. I also emailed TinyCo but didn’t even get a response from them. I think it’s safe to say I will not be making anymore purchases to get clams.

I’ve just started the Christmas themed challenge and today I bought the “She-matsu Massage” place, but I accidentally bought it twice (a glitch in the system allowed me to click buy on the item, but them it wouldn’t load, so I exited out of it and did it again, only to find out I bought two) Is there any way I can get my presents back that I lost from it? I can trade in my Stewie Bucks for ones of higher value but there doesn’t seem to be a way to reverse that – trade in a higher value one for more of the lower value. I have more then enough to but the monkey and Barbara but my money is mostly in red and yellow. It doesn’t seem to allow for making change, like using a $5 bill for a $3 doller item and getting change. Is there a way around this?

I downloaded the game on a different device and after the tutorial when it asked to load a save point. I clicked on the wrong one. So now when I try to find my game it’s gone. I assume it must have overwrote it somehow. All I did was click on the newest dated game save not thinking it was the current one I was playing (tutorial) and it took me back to the (tutorial) game. So I went back to the account settings to try and load MY game it wasn’t there. Only options are new game and load the current one.

Tan Lines help!! although I have over 30 characters I cannot fill the first two floors of Tan lines, as there are several characters including Peter who can’t stay there. Any idea why this is, or am I doing something wrong?

No you’ve not done anything wrong, any characters essential to the current event such as Chris, Quagmire etc cannot be placed in Tan Lines, and Peter is never allowed a break there.
