It’s not on Android devices until 7/31.

Hang in there. No scam, just a very difficult item to get. Plus it feels worse because of the task lengths. I ended up buying the Buncha Junk Gift Shop. But I’m a premium player and I like adding cool buildings to my town. You’ll get them both before you know it. Let me know when you do. 🙂

My partner and I started playing this app at the same time we play it almost every day. For the past couple weeks, his fg app has been booting him out and saying the game has an error. On the other hand mine works just fine. I would like to figure out a way to fix his so we can continue playing together. If someone could please get back to me in regards to how to fix the issue I’d truly appreciate it. Thank you.

It could be the device he plays on. Do you both play on similar devices? Is his an iPod 4 or older by chance? Or an older android?

Hi. My fiance started a new game as has been paying a while. His now level 10 and I told him to link it to fb so I can visit but the old account, level 5 is already linked and that will replace his level 10 game of he logs in. Is there anyway he can do this without losing the new game?

First, he should make an email account for the level 10 game (I have both, email and later FB) to make sure the game is saved. Next, since the new game has never been linked to a FB account, it’s easier to just make a “fake” FB account (no personal info in it) that is strictly a FGTQFS account. It’s really difficult to unlink a Facebook account from an old game and reassign it. Only TinyCo can do it. They were able to do it for me, but it was a big hassle. Plus, he could add friends to the “fake” account that are only FG players (don’t have to bug your real friends…lol) from this post:

Mine is linked to both, but I made the email account first. You should be fine with just the Facebook account. The game is already stored and safe and the Facebook account just makes it possible for TinyCo to locate your game if there is a problem, or for you to link up to it on multiple devices or if you have to reinstall it.

I’m getting ready to bite the big Giggity and uninstall/reinstall my game.
So, delete the app, reinstall, get to the point where the ‘checkerboard’ shows up, and log back in with my FB account. That’s it? Right?

Yeah, well that worked like a lead vest on a sinking ship! I was able to install it on my phone, with my account, it worked for a few hours and now I’m locked out just like my tablet 😦

Try uninstall/reinstall again (on both devices). Also, make sure ALL other apps are hard closed. If this doesn’t work, you’ll need to send an email to help@tinyco.com and also to their support page: http://www.tinyco.com/support/ use the info in this post about what to tell them. Sorry you are having game issues. Keep us advised of your progress. It helps everyone. 🙂

Now its working on my phone (can we say demon possession?) but it still won’t work on my tablet. I’m going to email them, but I give up for the night. I’ll keep you posted as to what other machinations my devices preform. 😛

Only the normal game quests for unlocking districts. Not limited time “event” quests. If you don’t mind me asking, why did you have to restart from the beginning? We might be able to help you load your old game. 🙂

The comicon update caused a glitch on my phone. And the game wouldn’t restart. I reinstalled but have lost my progress. (up to level 48) is there a way to get it back?

I don’t know if this is a glitch but my freaks and geeks quest (the wizard guys) seemed to disappear after I finished part 1. The wizards seen to have been walking my town for weeks and I can’t get rid of them. HELP.

Wizards can only be cleared via Lois at the end of the Freaks and Geeks task. You’ll need to unlock Stewie for part of it, so it can’t be completed until Stewie is unlocked 🙂

I had to uninstall my game, after I reinstalled it, it loaded me to level 4 rather than were I was at 24. When I try to login with Facebook, it trys to save over my original account at level 24. How can I fix this?

I’m on level 15 and one day I went on to collect coins and it restated itself and brought me back to level one. I tried connecting with my Facebook account but it said I’m already associated with this Facebook ID and that it’s on level 15 and if I continue it will change back to level one so now I’m stuck

Since you linked your game to your FB account, it’s saved and safe. Start the game, and if it’s the level 1 game go to the account info section. Select “sign in as someone else”, then enter your FB Info….you’ll get a poorly written warning that you’ll lose your level 1 game..ignore it and select “ok” your old level 15 game should load. Let us know how it went. 😉

If your game is saved (email account or Facebook link). You’ll be able to move it to your android device. But you may want to wait until the android event hits the google play store in a week. Once you download the game on your android follow the instructions in this post:

I have an assert error that keeps popping up. Also my Funland has disappeared. I tried moving it before Stewie was finished and it vanished and now can’t do anything for assert error message.

Check your storage for the funland.
As far as the error try the basic troubleshooting. Hard close the app, restart. If that doesn’t work try uninstall and reinstall. 🙂

I just went back into game. Error is gone finally after 8 days but I do not have a funland anywhere. Now I can not get Stewie.

i just reloaded my game and now when i go to my neighborhood and try to collect from my friends it says that i have to upgrade my game…. before i can collect from friends …. how do i get around that ?

Some friends may be on iOS and upgraded. If that’s the case you won’t be able to visit them until the update hits Android

My game keeps crashing even before I got the update of the superheroes. Actually it kept crashing when I tried to visit another neighborhood. I finally did it only to find out it crashed again why I tried to visit another neighborhood. Ever since I downloaded the new update today on my iPod touch, the game cannot get past the loading screen, once the music begins to play the game crashes. I have tried closing the app and restarting my device but neither have worked. I can’t uninstall/ reinstall because I never made an account when I started the game. Since tiny I support stopped answering me is there any way I can get the game working again?

Why is it taking 15 hours for me to unlock cop joe when my boyfriend got him in 5 seconds? And it is taking to long to get mermaids peter because of the lighthouse being the only way to get sea-shells. I love the game and have been playing it everyday. Just that bugs me

I was getting similar errors this morning. Hard close, and close completely out of the app and restart it. If that doesn’t help try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

I know many people are busy with the new ios update today but playing the android version I noticed two new things today.
1. There is now a new quest line using Rupert. 2. Pee Pants the inebriated hobo clown has returned to Al Harrington’s. I never earned that costume because I started playing after that event ended. My question is, will there be a way to earn it now, or is it just there so it can be purchased for 500 clams? The related items all indicate that they are not available.

And I thought he was always in the store (at least for me he was)…I do think they’ll be adding ways to bring him back in a future district (and earn him for free), but as of right now it’s a clam only option. Hope that helps! 🙂

My phone keeps crashing the game and just being overly slow. I’m about to switch to another phone in November though so I was wondering if there is a way to transfer my Family Guy universe to another phone? If so, in the meantime is it possible to transfer my Family Guy universe from an Android device to an iOS device since my iPod doesn’t seem to have as many problems as my Android phone does. Yes. Just make sure you create an account for it…since that’s the only way to restore your old universe on a new device.
Also, when switching from Android to iOS or vice versa, just have to make sure they’re both on the same update number. So right now it wouldn’t work because iOS has the Comic Con event and Android won’t have it for a week.

It should save for you as long as you have it linked to an account (Facebook or email). If you have any problems getting it back, make sure you contact TinyCo they’ll be able to restore it for you (as long as it’s linked to an account)

I am having the same issue. I have to restart my iPhone to get the game to launch, usually, but now…nothing. Won’t load. The bar fills up and hits the end and it will never open the game. I have closed it and restarted my phone 3 times…..nothing. Please help.

Tap on the character and in their task box you’ll be able to swipe their picture left or right. That changes their costumes 🙂

My xp meter has been stuck on 40 and a bit for over 4 days now. Have contacted tiny co but only got a stock response, asked again but getting static so far from them. I got to level 40 when that was the max. It then went up again ax normal when these went to 50 but has stopped since. It flashes when a tv is added but no movement. Anyone else had this? Thanks

Not that I have seen other than usual glitch here n there on any device. iPods seem to have more troubles. I would suggest this. Double check with TinyCo by contacting them via your game or email if you prefer and ask. They should have any issue documented and should be able to give you more detail on it. Outside that, I see many players switching between the two no problems. 😉

After the update my xp is frozen on about 75% into level 40. I’ve been doing quests all the time since I was on 40 and got over 400k coins but the xp just isn’t moving at all now.
I ticketed it in game just wondering if anyone else seen this?

Hmm well support have said it’s levelling normally but the bar really isn’t (visually) moving at all. If there was a way to see the actual numbers behind it, it would be better. But then again I guess it doesn’t really matter as there is no benefit or rewards for levelling anyway 😉

I have many friends on Game Center that have the family guy game, why is it that they are not my friends on the actual game? I am absolutely against using Facebook and only use Game Center friends with my games. Can anyone help??

This game ONLY uses Facebook currently to play with friends. We all are in hopes something else comes along.
