Version 1.0.10 Update

Hello There Clammers!

Looks like iOS users finally got the update that hit Android devices two days ago.  Check your App Stores (on both devices) to make sure you have the latest and greatest update of TQFS.

This update sets up the Kingdom of the Full Moon Event that’s upcoming.  If you play on iOS you’ll notice your icon and splash screen have changed.  If you play on Android…they have not.  DON’T PANIC!  I’ve been advised that the icon and splash screen will change on Android when the event goes live (seems like they have more control over Android changes than iOS changes).

The update did change 1 big thing as well.  If you check out your games you’ll notice Al Harrington’s is now…ANIMATED!

So now…what does this all mean?  Well now that everyone is on version 1.0.10…it looks like the event will be hitting VERY VERY soon!

Happy Memorial Day From the Addicts

Hello There Clammers,

It’s Memorial Day in the United States.  For anyone unaware, this is the day that Americans usually think of as a three-day weekend, the unofficial kick off to summer!  Many will spend the day BBQing and  enjoying an extra day off work.  Others recognize it has something to do with the military.

Memorial Day is a US federal holiday where we remember those who died while serving in the Armed Forces.  A lot of countries have similar holidays.  Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day and originated after the American Civil War.  It has gone on to include all wars and those who dies while serving the United States.  Many people visit cemeteries during this holiday, often placing a US flag on service member’s graves.

Here at Family Guy Addicts we just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all those who have served, all those who currently serve, and all those who lost their lives defending their country.

So if you’re in the US and enjoying this extra day off (I know I am), take a moment while spending some time with your family at the BBQ (or on the beach) to say a moment of thanks to those who have fallen defending our country.

Exotic Animal Weekend

UPDATE BUNNY 3:00PM EST: 
It looks as though there is an issue with some players being able to get Peter to trigger the Exotic Animal task itself (you can still buy animals but the option to get building can’t trigger). I have been in contact with TinyCo and they are currently working on the issue. It seems this happened if players already had Peter on another task, and when they try to collect it kicks them out of the game as it attempts to clear the completed task and trigger the Exotic Animal task both at same time.

Hang in there. Working on a fix. Will update when I hear more back from TinyCo. 

 

Hello There Clammers!

Looks like TinyCo dropped a late weekend event on us.  This weekend it’s Exotic Animal Weekend!

Clam Task Going Back to Sea

Hello There Clammers!

Well it looks like many of you will finally be getting your wish!  After almost 1 and a half months the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Clam task will FINALLY be leaving your task bar!

In just over 5 days from now the Clam offer will expire and disappear from our task lists!  So if you’re thinking about taking advantage of the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal TinyCo is offering make sure you do so before next week…time is running out!

Hello There Clammers!

Tell me if this sounds familiar…you start up your Quest for Stuff game ready to tackle the next objective only to find….YOUR QUAHOG IS GONE?!  You panic, you freak out…WHAT HAPPENED TO MY TOWN?!  All that work, all that time…all those headbands! Gone!  They’re all gone!  That intro video is great and all but right now you want to throw your device across the room!

With Work-it Weekend in our rear-view Mirrors and Asiantown in sight I thought now would be a great time to share the results of our Work-It Weekend Poll question and start a whole new poll about “Stuff”.

We see many of you talking about how difficult it is to get Epic and Rare items to drop in TQFS, often times sending a character on a task 20 or more times in a row before getting an item you’re looking for to drop..I’m looking at you HEADBAND!  So what we want to know how you REALLY Feel about Epic and Rare Stuff!

Good Morning Clammers!

So we’ve been seeing a few things back and forth in the comments over concern about collecting all the “stuff” to unlock the Pee Pants Inebriated Hobo Clown costume for Peter.  With an event end time set for Sunday 5/4 and so many of each item to get many of you are worried it’s impossible to acquire everything, solely by playing freemium, by the time the event ends.  Well let’s break it all down for you….

Social is Back!

Good Morning Questers!

A bit of good news for those of you clamming to get back in the multiverse and visit your neighbors…..we’ve got confirmation from our friends at TinyCo that social is back!

Stuff currently fixed:
– Crashing on third collection
– “Visit friends” quest not working
– Bruce. Oh, Bruce.

No longer do you have to blame Bruce for preventing you from visiting your neighbors!  All has been restored and works better than ever!  So what are you waiting for?  Get going though the multiverse and find some clams!
