Hello There Clammers!
Last week I asked for your feedback on the Best of 2014 Event, which items did you purchase? Did you purchase any? How’d you do on the Event overall? And, as always, you guys came through! We’ll get to those results in a minute…but first I want to get your take on the latest Event to hit our Tiny Quahogs…Valentine’s Day!

I somehow missed this poll due to work and the current event but I also purchased everything I didn’t have. I just started playing halfway thru the Comic-Con event and needed almost everything from it except Peters costume and patrick stewart. I didn’t get George Takei and was really bummed about that. He was there one day and then after that he was gone which was really weird. Ecstatic that i got Stan Lee tho… YAY! I really wish they had offered Alien & The Predator cause I missed out on them during the Halloween event, but i did get Duck stewie and i had everything else from that event. I bought ALOT of the mystery boxes. I bought everything i didn’t have costumes, buildings and characters. I did get King Butt but i did have to use 10 clams to finish him in time. Im so glad they did this and rate it a 5! Hope they do it again.

I only had enough time to either aquire King Butt or George Takei, so I choose George and an very happy with him. I also extremely happy with my Patrick Stewart ❤️, he’s always playing soccer or being dramatic💀.
I did write TinyCo to say I was disappointed that we couldn’t keep George’s phone booth. I loved that phone booth! Within 2 hours I recieved a note back promising to foreword the suggestion for next time. I ❤️ TinyCo! 😄

I cannot answer question number 5 as there should be another option that’s says something about receiving the bumper cars by accident due to TinyCo’s weird update for Joe’s prize … I would have much rather had the liquor store. Here are my answers in order skipping number 5:

Sorry had to go back and look at the stats…and didn’t have a chance to during the update. Out of those that did not participate, 64% did so because they already had everything, 11% because they were too busy, 3% because they were locked out and the rest (12%) for other reasons

Is lois task to go to coffee shop or on the date menu for Peters date missing for anyone else. Sent to Tinyco. Help!!!! have lass than foru hours before peter times out so I can complete. Quest.

Ack! I missed the “Best of 2014” poll due to this pesky day job! In case late entries (comments) still matter, I wanted to say that I really liked the Best Of event (I’d give it a 5), and my only disappointment was in more things not being offered. I bought at least 3 mystery boxes – 2 because I had to have 80s Pop-Star Cleveland and got the only other item on my first try, and the third really because I wanted to “thank” TinyCo for doing the event. I had all the Comic-con stuff (thought would have purchased duplicates if offered for coins) and the Halloween stuff (I did purchase duplicates of those available items). I hope they do more flashback promotions from time to time, I know there’s other stuff I’ve seen in Ollieland that I covet. 🙂
Oh, and I did unlock King Butt.

OK Bunny, I was wondering how many phases is this Valentines event? I understand that they release it when they are sure it’s ready but I’m curious if it’s multiple phases. I need to clear a few lots to get more room so do I have time or do I bite the bullet and hold off? Also, thanks for all of your help hun.

Regarding the love hate meter, I found a solution that may not be for everyone, but works for me very well. I deleted all roads in my town and then put some buildings, decos etc in inventory. In my newly cleared area, I placed roads in a square in that area so that when the couples are generated, they stay in that one square area and are very easy to follow and tap. Once the event is over, I’ll put my roads and buildings back in place. I just tried it and it worked wonderfully. I was quickly able to identify which couples I wanted to tap. Just an fyi if anyone is still frustrated.

yeah i pretty much have over HALF of my town’s road gone and I just now took away a lil bit more to see if i can get all the hate hearts. gonna take a while since i started from 74 love all the way back down to 75 hate LOL and then i wanna go back up to over 75 love hearts because of the prize after Joes.

I liked the Best Of quests because I was able to get a couple of characters and buildings I missed before I started playing. I’m ready for round 2. I’m still working my way back to get the Hate prize, but I’m having a lot of fun doing it. This game hooked me back in November and I play every chance I get outside of work. Thank you, Bunny, for all of your help along the way.

Best of 2014 was fun. I was able to get what I wanted, aside from Bryan Cranston.
As for Valentine’s Day… I have been really enjoying this event! Aside from Joe’s prize switch up shenanigans, this has been fun. Brian’s box has been very kind to me and I was able to achieve all that was necessary for phase one.
Quick side note…
I’m loving the graphics. The Valentine’s Day section and buildings are so pretty…. (can I say that about Family Guy? lol)
Can’t wait for phase two!

I think this poll is very telling of the quality of the overall event. This was the first events that disappointed me. I felt disappointed in the difficu in obtaining George takei.

I hope they could do the similiar quest from the king butt for the kool-aid man in the future since kool man is a recurring cameo from family guy in contrast to king butt therefore its more important.
I also hope they would have another promotion for premium characters like
Consuela which I really hope I could buy.

I started playing about a week into the Full Moon event so I had only missed Hobo Clown Peter and 80s Cleveland during regular play (And I was only 2 sheen away from Cleveland! Bah!) So I got them both from the not much of a mystery box.

I think the event was a lot of fun and offered a great opportunity to get items that were missed before. That said, I do think if you were able to purchase a character, you should also have had the opportunity to get the items needed for all their tasks (i.e. fart of the covenant).

The Characters released in the game or coming to the game are shown by silhouettes. They will be there until you get that Character.

Completely up to TinyCo on who they bring back. My best suggestion is always… ask them. Send a message right from your game. 😉
