   Even though it can vary from player to player I wish there was still a suggestion list on which coffee dates or romantic walk dates droped items (both special items decos building clams, but also items needed to unlock Cheryl)… I know more will be found and have to be added but besides seeing the possible Nathan and Felicia option I have no idea which ones would drop bonus stuff…. I have every single character ever released up to Cheryl and Cupid as I’m still working on those so my choices are there I just haven’t been sending people on random dates cuz I don’t wanna risk my affection meter without knowing the possible rewards… Your guys current list is helpful for getting the most hearts and the basic items you win but I want the items that aren’t known about so I can quickly unlock characters and get any bonus items. As I am a completionist and it will drive me insane if I can’t get them all. 😀😀 bunny is patient 0 in the insane asylum. I’ll be the next patient if I can’t keep up my completionist streak.😭😰😅😱

   If you have Felicia Day and Nathan Fillian go on a walk in the Romantic Thoroughfare, an Industrial Fan will drop along with 4 Love Hearts. The Fan is used in unlocking Cheryl Tiegs. I think you guys have done a great job so far, but you need to update your list. Some people, like myself, could have missed this if he/she were following the current list posted.

     As stated in this post and the original How To Date post, Material drops will vary per player so there is not a way for us to provide all the details as it will depend on YOUR game on those drops. The ONLY thing that will be exact for every single player is the Prize drops.

     I also stumbled across this combination of Felicia and Nathan and it has been most useful in getting the 15 fans. They’ve actually dropped 100 percent of the time from the date for me. I’m only 12 hours in to collecting for Cheryl and only need 1 more fan, 1 swimsuit and 2 violins.

    Hey where can I find the answers to the hints that are given…i.e. I’m currently on “He/she is good friends with his/her mom/dad”…I’m guessing that the dates at the top are the answers but which ones go with which hints??

      That one is Glenda and Ida. No list for hints, as some people like to figure them out. But you don’t have to do anything with the hints, you can completely ignore them. There’s no bonus for getting the hint right. It’s only to guide you to hearts or prizes, all of which are listed here. 🙂

    Here’s where i’m confused tho….if you are trying to get something that needs the broken, purple hearts, you would want to pair up people that you would think would give you the purple hearts. if you try to follow the “hints”, then you get the red hearts which would cancel out the purple ones…is that correct?

      She’s only available in the Thoroughfare, which is the premium walkway in the event area. Beyond that you can only use these characters

    Is it my imagination or do most of these matches require the 200 clam Thoroughfare.

    Also, I don’t seem to have the capability of sending Ida to the cafe’; will this unlock after I create Vajmire?

      Most do require the Thoroughfare…including Ida. These are the only freemium date options

    So, when you’ve done the all matches that generate the type of hearts you’re collecting, there isn’t much point in using it further? Doing the matches for the other type of hearts will screw up your collection towards the heart prize you want. Is that correct? I’m trying to straighten this out in my brain, lol

      This was based on the fact, that yesterday, I couldn’t send a couple on a date for a second time and therefore thought you could only send pairs on a date once. Today it’s letting me send the same pair repeatedly. Don’t know why it didn’t work yesterday. So I guess disregard the previous comment, lol

      Exactly, unless you want the prizes. But yes, if you’re going for red hearts the purple ones will just reduce your rates..

      They rotate around and the hints randomly change. It is more there to give you a “hint” of possible matches so you may have already cleared the couple. For this one, I would say Chris and Connie.

    i’m not seeing date option with most characters. certainly not with predator or alien. nor bonnie, joe, meg, brian, glenda, …
    and they aren’t on other tasks or i wouldn’t be able to see what options Are available. so far, i sent the pewterschmidts, francis and jesus, consuela and francis, and peter and lois. quagmire has no ‘date’ option either.
    perplexed. ????

      Most of them are under the Thoroughfare…did you purchase it? It’s in the event area for 200 clams.

    Hi,
    Great explanation about everything but I do have one problem I think. I have my characters free and still I can’t choose them to go on dates except few ones… And I almost have all the characters and costumes in the game. Is this a bug? Should I write to tinyco? Thanks a lot

      This may be a silly question, but did you purchase the Thoroughfare? It’s in the event area for 200 clams…if you didn’t purchase it the options on this post won’t show

          We’re finding that the riddles aren’t always changing each time. You can have the right match but it doesn’t change the riddle. Not sure what’s going on, but there are some that just get stuck.

    I’m just surprised they didn’t use more show-related matches:

    Adam West (not even matchable) and Meg
    Peter and Connie
    Quagmire and Lois
    Jerome (not even matchable) and Lois
    Joe and Bonnie (both not matchable)
    Bitch Stewie and Stewie
    Bitch Brian and Brian (this would reward premium players, too)
    Maybe King Butt and Connie or Meg

    Sucks having to use the same match-ups for hearts over and over. Pretty awesome that the American Dad characters have been useful this event though!

    I am trying to collect broken hearts for the prize. But, the quizzes are love matches. So, what happens if I delay matching those in the quiz for the Arousal Cafe?

    Oh well. Arnold doesn’t seem to have a date option. I thought the splash screen was clues to combos because the other two dates work. Using his ordinary heart tasks will get similar rewards anyway

    Your list shows that I can have the Alien go on a date with the Predator, but for some reason Most of the characters including them don’t have the date option, do I have to do something else to get them to have the Date option?

        I had everyone free when I tired to set up the date, and only the main Charachters and a few of the others had the option to date, the rest didn’t so over half of the population couldn’t date, even thought they were on your list to go on a date, I reported it to TinyCo

      Awwwwww. They are still kind to us. They allow us to have direct access to them and communicate with them all the time. More than I can say for other gaming houses I deal with. I love having a direct line to them to help out on game issues and relay player feedback, it helps a great deal with the mechanics and growth of the game. They are good people. 😉

    In the search box on here I typed in Romantic Thoroughfare bc I’m wanting to know what happens when you spend 200 clams to fix it. Instead it brought me to this page.     Aaah! I clicked to send Peter on his coffee date. Then clicked on send someone on a coffee date with Peter. This took me to the coffeehouse only to discover that Meg was already queued up. So Meg and her Dad are on a date together! I am collecting love hearts and I hate to think how many broken hearts are going to result from this!

    okay so this post is about the place that needs repaired for 200 clams correct? also I’m SOOOO confused a bit. well I’m gonna pass on that cause I don’t have 200 clams nor not planning on buying any clams just yet.     So far it appears as though you can get the most with the love hearts on the free coffee dates, however more hate with the premium Romantic Thoroughfare.
