Valentine’s Day has arrived in Quahog & the residents of our Tiny Quahogs are really getting into the spirit of the holiday!
During phase 3 of the event several questlines will popup in order to better prepare our Tiny Quahogians for the holiday ahead! Working your way through these questlines will help you earn additional Valentines to unlock more content from the store.

Remember, you will need to complete My Funny Valentine questline in order to start Phase 3. So if you’re still working on My Funny Valentine, you won’t see anything from Phase 3.

As a newbie to this game cupid is unobtainable for me since it needs Joe at lvl10 and even finishing tasks with clams just wasn’t going to get me lvl10 Joe before the event ended HOWEVER thanks to this site I was able to plan ahead, I went the easier/faster hate route then with all my saved up cards purchased the boxes and now I have both love/hate goodies and I couldn’t be happier with my lovie-dovie stash 😀 I don’t have meg yet but hot meg is sitting in my Al Harrington waiting to go.

This is crazy. I’ve played several times a day, more than I would say the average user has, and am only on Part 3 of the task. I won’t even get to rebuild the Cupid bench before the event ends! Forget Hot Meg!

It will be a Christmas miracle if I get Cupid. I have 504 HMV and he is the only item left in the box. (I really thought I’d get luckier than this.) I didn’t buy any premium characters and have been grinding the whole time checking every two hours except when I’m sleeping or at my 2nd job. I need to get 1500 HMVs in just over a day. Those that are listing they have/had 10’s of thousands HMV were you freemium? I had no trouble getting hearts. That was so easy I ended up getting the Asylum way before we found out the statue was needed. I’ve had Hot Meg for days.

I spent clams only on the 2 celeberties and ive got about the same cards as you. luckily I got the statue from the meter so ill just be a couple thoisand short of getting all the box prizes. I think people with that many cards must have bought a card generator.

At this point in the event you should be making 1,000+ a day in Cards, so it is possible. What you need to do is prepare to unlock Cupid to get him quick. Have Peter and Glenda already doing the tasks needed to get Cupid, so they end when you have the bench built. Click on the bench to reveal Cupid and then Peter and Glenda. If done perfectly you’ll have Cupid ulocked within a few seconds.
As for not having enough Cards, I did I just fine and I didn’t use any Clams except to buy Arnold, which only helped to unlock Hot Meg. I got everything from Rupert’s Box and have at the moment 2,000 Cards to spare, which I plan to use to load up on decos.
What might have happened is that you mismanaged your characters’ tasks. What I look for when assigning tasks during events is evaluating payout over time. A good example is with Lois. She has multiple event tasks that are 4 hours to gain 20 Cards, but she also has a 4 hour one that gives 35 for Kneading Bread. Chris is another example. His 4 hour task Spying On Cupid gives 30 when all his others for the same time is only 20.
My rule to get the most out of an event’s product is to always go for the 4 hour task, because it gives enough product based off time. Anything over 4 hours doesn’t give you enough product for time spent. I only go longer than 4 hour tasks when I go to sleep.

Well, it looks like my get ahead through stacking tasks isn’t going to work, because TinyCo designed the Can’t Buy Me Love quest line where tasks don’t exist in the character menu until the quest line assigns them. So it looks like I’m not going to finish this one unless there’s a miracle.io

I have played the game multiple(6-8 times daily) and I’m not even going to come close to completing all of this. I lost a ton of time when they reduced the hearts for the affection meter, and then had to turn around and go the opposite direction with collecting hearts for the Cupid statue. Really aggravated with this event…..

?? I just fixed the cupids bench & I was checking out what all I need to unlock him & I need Cupid Statue. When I tap that it takes me to the love/hate prizes. How can I get a Cupid Statue??

Where are you on the Affection Meter? Have you cleared all the Prizes? If so, you will find the statue (if you won it) in your town or inventory. Or (if you lost it) in the Mystery Box.

Quick question: I just got the last hearts to unlock Meg (i.e. the last heart-prize). Is there any point in collecting more hearts? I will happily ignore the PDA-couples from now on, they are starting to get on my nerves anyway 😉
And follow-up question: I am at almost 30000 valentines, emptied the Rupert-Box and bought everything there is to buy. Do you have any insight if those valentines will be held over like last time, with another chance to win more stuff for the leftover valentines? Thank you ever so much!

My game keeps crashing and it’s causing me to fall behind. When it crashes it makes me lose the clams from the event and miss pad couples. This is a pain! I start playing on android and it crashes so immortals switch to iOS and BAM pda couples are GONE! I have to do the same tasks over and over excuse it doesn’t retain them once it crashes. Ios crashes less than android. I am hoping I unlock Cupid and hot meg score this event ends. I am down to 100 clams so I want to spend wisely! I have already purchased clams to get Arnold so I am not willing to purchase 2nd time for the same event I rather spend my cash on real world items! I love the game but NOT the crashing! It doesn’t seem to matter which version of android I’m using both kitkat and lollipop are crashing. I hate that ios didn’t get the pea timer because that helps a lot! My dates also fail to launch when the game crashes…Ugggh almost 200 love hearts MAYBE I can get 350 in 2 days and the statue of Cupid without spending my money….one can only hope.

I was trying to be smart time wise and start a 12 hr task so when 8hr one finishes the next long one was started… Just went to prep my next 8 hr Glenda for the love quest and had a brain fart sending Meg & Quagmire on an 8 hr quest for her quest forgetting Glenda was Quag… Aaarrrgggh

Hi, I’m trying to get cupids statue in order to be able to unlock Cupid, however I didn’t opt for that as my prize and I’m now onto winning hot Meg so missed my chance to get it. I just bought 10 boxes for 1,000 valentines cards and no luck so now all out of them!

Keep collecting Valentine’s. Sending characters, getting them from buildings and decos, etc. They collect fast and you should get 1000 more in time. 😉

I can’t remember from prior events if you have to finish every single task in the quest line to fully unlock a character. If I have cupid himself completing tasks in his quest line and Meg completing her tasks and the valentine’s event ends what happens? Will I still be able to keep cupid and Meg? Will I be able to finish out those quest lines or will they just disappear? I know you might not know since this event obviously hasn’t ended yet but do you have any information in regards to this? I don’t remember if I experienced this in any of the other events I have played. As always thanks for your help! Y’all are awesome!

Ok there is nothing else for me to do. Not showing anymore quest line and the bench is still locked and i have no movie theather. Any ideas what im doing wrong? I mean there isnt anything showing me what to do. Cupid is still not available either.

1 is to buy clams and the other one has learn about perfume sprayers and it has check mark next to it and underneath has one that says have glenda shoo sprayers and says go. Ive shooed quite a few already. How many do i need?

A little box comes up and it has a + in it. It says go and then it takes several hours to do. I think ive shood over 40 of them already. Then it will take several hours for more to come back.

Ok i got it now. What happen was i kept on shooing them away with ida and not glenda i went back on and shood them away with glenda and i passed that phase. Now other things are starting to unlock now. Jeez that was nerve racking lol

There’s no way I’m going to finish the Can’t Buy Me Love quest line at this point. I’m currently at Part 4 and a major of the tasks are 8-12 hours long each. Yeah, I’ll get Cupid unlocked by the skin of my teeth, but this looks to be the first time I didn’t finish all event quest lines.
Yeah, I made a few mistakes like doing the Glenn and Cheryl 24 task and then lost another 6 hours by just sending Handsome Peter on a task seconds before not knowing I needed him after completing that 24 hour task.

Getting all content is fairly easy but theres no way to finish every quest by events end, not with all the 12+hour req’s

The only way to do it is to stack tasks. You know who is needed for easy task, so you them so they end 5-15 minutes apart. The best time to do it for Can’t Buy Me Love Part 7, because the characters are different for each task part. I’m writing down what characters I need to do what, so it’ll be easy to organize the timing. If done right you’ll cut 36-48 hours of time.

I’m not going to be able to finish the quests before the event ends, that’s the first time since I started playing during King Butt last year. I can only guess I delayed a few quests when trying to unlock Ida and Glenda leaving myself far behind. It’s going down to the wire to unlock Hot Meg too, I stupidly collected hate hearts for some unknown reason and had to backtrack about 100, I don’t have anywhere near enough HMVs to risk relying on Rupert’s Box to get the skin. It’s all went horribly wrong but I’ll see what I can get before the end.

I’ve gotten three mystery boxes but still no Cupid statue. I got the fountain and the theater, btw is surprising the theater doesn’t give and valentines card, so it’s a decoration??

Thanks for the this I may quit for in my opinion it is going to take too long to finish the quest. I may try to get it to Cupid but I do not know. The 12 hr tasks are what killing me and to be honest I do not like it how they want you to get hot meg. If my plan continues on the pace I will get her from the mystery box, I know you said you will address her storyline in another article but will you address if you get the voodoo shop instead of her.

No as it is HER questline and requires HER to be in your game. So unless you open her in the Mystery Box you will come to a stop in it.

So, I’ve now finished everything except the final part of the joint questline with Meg and Cupid. Got 10,000+ valentines to spare & about 300 love hearts accumulated on the affection meter. Hope they release some last minute mystery box in the next day or two.

I feel this will be a close call for me and may be the first event since the kingdom of the moon that I won’t get all the prizes. I’m still 255 hearts from hot meg, the task to unlock cupid hasn’t popped up yet and I still need 4 prizes from the handmade valentines box

I’ve finished all the quests And unlocked all the characters. Should I still keep collecting hearts? I’ve seen a screenshot with meg in the middle hate on 1 side and love on the other? Do u know what this is for? I have over 800 love hearts (red) and 90,000 HV and nothing to use them on. Do u know if there will be anything else (boxes/prizes) to spend them on.

because I’ve completely gotten all items from all missons gotten all love prizes and All Mystery Box prizes and I’ve gotten all character and costumes and I’ve gotten all Morning Arousal Coffee, Romantic Thoroughfare, and Casaroja Movie Theater Dates prizes and i gotten all of Stewie and Brian statues prizes.

It’s nice that Tiny Co waited until now to tell us that we needed the Cupid statue to get Cupid. Smh. Now I have to spend cards until I get it. If not, completing all these missions was a waste of time. Ridiculous!

Hi. Can you win Meg’s costume from the new Rupert Box? On the initial pop up it lists Meg as a possible “love” prize, but when you click the prize button to reveal the entire list of prizes her costume is not included. Confused……..

As long as you are in Phase 3 content, have LOST Meg by winning the VooDoo shop instead… then it will go to the Mystery Box.

If l unlock the movie theatre, will l get it at the end of the event? Since my game freezes a lot, l won’t be able to get Cupid, so what’s the point in opening the theatre?

Theater is in the Handmade Mystery Box…that’s the only way to get it. So even if you repair it, if you don’t win it in the box you won’t get to keep it, unfortunately.

Any idea what happens to the quests when the event ends in a few days? I get the characters and costumes will dissappear if incomplete along with buildings and decos. But if you only just unlocked cupid it might make his quest line a little tough to complete in time.

Cant believe i started unlocking cupid not even 24 hours ago n ill be completely done in about 8 n a half hours! By the time im done it will have only taken me a little less than 20 hours…i think thats the fastest ive ever unlocked an event character!

I opted to not get the Cupid Statue last week because it was a deco and I wanted a building instead. Now that Im on the Cupid missions it wants me to get his statue…too late. Is it now impossible for me to get Cupid???

Anyone else had a similar issue to this? I just got all the hearts for Hot Meg, nothing happens other than I get the tick over her in the list? She isn’t around as a character/skin, I have nothing left to win/purchase from the HMV gift boxes, The story is still there saying that I need to obtain/win her and the screen has locks on both? Am I missing something with this?
