–WHAT THE DEUCE….Really, a WEEK extension? I know it’s necessary for some players that had issues getting into their games…but I’m just so ready for the Enterprise to get the heck outta Quahog!

Last minute content. WTD. Right when I thought I was good to go and just quests left they decided to release more and people want another character (judging by the comments)!?! No! Wait for next month and have another comic con event and put Whil Wheaton in that!

I’ve seen Chris, Troi, and Lois work for this when sent alone. I got mine with Chris in about 7 tries, my girl got hom with Troi in about 6 tries, and a friend of mine got his with Lois in about a dozen tries. It does vary per gamebut almost always is less tries for a single rider. I’d try one of those three. Herbert’s a pervert and likes the ladies and little boys aparently. Good luck!

It took me well over 20 trips with all different combinations but I finally got Herbert on Thursday by sending only Peter.
On a related note – was there ever a walk though done on his quest line? I don’t remember seeing it.
Bunny – all the best to you and your mom – my mom was recently ill and in the hospital as well – she’s slowly recovering – so I understand the stress and worry you are going through. Just don’t forget to take time for you!!!

WTD, I spent all my transporter energy on Romulan Ale Bars in a failed attempt to get more crystals when I could have been using them on missions to the borg cube. My fault, not tinyco’s.
I agree with the rest regarding the ‘extension’. Hardly seems like a gesture to let players catch up when new content is still being released. Also, I don’t get why people complain about having leftover resources, I have 63 Synthesizer Ore which I can’t use on Uhura because I lack dark matter and dilithium and I’m not complaining about the waste of green cubes. People do have an option to take a break after weeks of grinding for drops or appreciate the extra time that can be used to grind for clams at the borg cube.
In TSTO, players seem more contended and I can’t remember ever reading a comment complaining about leftover resources in that game. I started on QFS because of star trek and I’m probably going to leave this game after the event unless star wars comes along.

My WTD is green ores!!! Really I finally get Kirk and I am Saving up for hoes skin then you drop a new Character in the replicator I saved up over 50 phaser energy and saw you can get green ores by destroying Borg cube so I wasted half of my phaser energy trying this with squat! Sent a message to tiny co and haven’t heard back was trying to get everything I could with this event but it seems like I won’t unless they have another extension
I have bought all premium characters which was way more money then I have ever spent on this game not tiny co’a fault my own lol but dang very expensive almost $10 per character
Bonnie has yet to drop one green ore for me the entire event what’s with that?!?

I am with you that I was ready for this event to end. I has been a long and hard one but I was done, with a tiny bit of time to spare and now there is this new stuff, I don’t have time to collect enough for Uhura in a week and not sleeping for bertram battles is ridiculous! I hate that i did that but i was the weekend and i wanted Kirk, and Joe’s costume so I did it but once I was done i let Bertram go back to level 1 so i could get a full night’s sleep and now 75 dark matter!
Personally i think with a week’s extension for those who needed it was great but don’t add more stuff! I wasn’t bored, I didn’t need anything to do, i was looking forward to a break and now i want Uhura because she is freemium and maybe she has an action with Spock or something.
**** it family guy! I love you too much :p lol

WTD! Star trek is lame. I’m sorry back in the day yeah it was cool but let’s face it. No one describes Patrick Stewart as the captain, they say he’s the guy who played Dr Xavier. So if he has moved on we should too. Lol ooh and while I’m ranting guys please I’m broke as a joke but I love this game and its slow going when you have no clams. I mean I’m pretty far in. Y because I’m a dedicated player so please give us some free stuff or maybe give more to do why we wait for actions to be completed. Just cut us a break.

Yeah, I have to disagree as well. Patrick Stewart will always be Captain Picard to me. The role was iconic. He performed as that character for so long – and did it so well – that it ended up sticking in the minds of fans even once the show was over.

It’s sort of like arguing that Daniel Radcliffe can’t be thought of as Harry Potter simply because the series is over. People always see him as Harry because it was an iconic role that people became familiar with and could relate to.

Grind for five-ish days trying to get stuff for TStewie and then all three characters drop sunscreen when you only need one. WTD? Now I just need dilithium. The Borg cube has not been kind to me in the dilithium department.

WTD, TinyCo. Now that I have TStewie I’m not sure what to work for next. I appreciated the extra week a lot more before so much new content was added. I might just have to collect until the end and then decide last minute what to blow my resources on. I may have fangirl’d a little bit when I saw Seven of Nine was available but I think Human Rupert is edging her out on the claim for my remaining clams. Bunny, I hope your mama is better very soon.

I know its frustrating when something bugs you but other don’t feel your pain. All of you who wanted Uhura but don’t have enough synth ores: Take heart, I think its possible. I personally had about 50 before she even appeared because I had Bonnie on duty every day. Maybe its not too late.
(I also got Stewie and Picard playing freenium, somehow)
One more thing: is there still a reason to shoot Borg Cubes or Romulan Warbirds at this stage of the game?

WTD, somebody explain to me how I am to get 75 synthesizer ore… 50 for Uhura and 25 for the gold statue.
Also I got tonnes of life support energy that isn’t being used.
Also the mystery gift box has filled my storage with more tribbles than I know what to do with… I just want a shuttlecraft or a flaming redshirt…

Everybody should blast TinyCo with emails complaining about the poor drop rates for Synthesizer Ore and that Borg Cubes never drop them as claimed. If they fix it to make them Always on Monday people will have a good chance of getting Uhura through Phased Energy and Quagmire, Troi and Worf removing Borgs.

Haha, yes I admit it I did have to put the game down for a few and I must say at least a week break from it was what I really needed to do!…Game Tip to all you other stressed and worried FGTQFS players: PLEASE remember…it’s ONLY a game! If you aren’t having the least bit of fun playing this game,JUST STEP AWAY&&put it down for a bit.Trust me! It really does work.😊

WTD – not really a WTD – I’m so grateful they extended the event, and I have just got Kirk, and pretty close to getting Uhuru, so woohoo and all that 🙂 But my only tiny WTD is to echo another poster’s – I would have loved Wesley, and paid premium for him even though I am a freemium player, as I love love love Wil Wheaton! ❤ I guess in my heart I was holding out to the end of the event for him, but it really doesn't look like he's going to show 😦 I still have a teensy shred of hope though – pleeeeeease, TinyCo: I will give you all my meagre stock of clams for him! 🙂

Completely my fault, not TinyCo’s, but man I really wish I hadn’t wasted so many crystals on mystery boxes… now I have to save up again in order to get Uhura.
On the more “What the Deuce” side of things, I can’t believe they went through all of this without giving us Wesley Crusher… Wil Wheaton was in the episode where Stewie kidnaps the TNG cast, he would have been the perfect addition to this event.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled they made some TOS characters (but no Sulu? He was on the show so many times…) but how do we end up with 7 of 9 rather than TOS/TNG people?
And lastly one thing that I never really worried about before, but man premium characters are so expensive. I used up all of the clams I got from building character/costume sets as well as cashing in the credits from the Google survey thing in order to buy enough clams to get everybody. That is one reason I never ended up getting Clevelend/Rupert/Consuela/etc… because the price for premiums is quite steep. And now that I’ve earned pretty much all of the free clams from character sets this may be the last.

Why do the questlines ask me to send ESSENCIAL crew members that are needed to stun bergtram on a 24 hours task? And even if I decide to send them, why a miserable 15 dilithium as reward? It is annoying… wtd!,

This is my first and probably only WTD as I don’t complain all that much and when I do, it’s logical.

Once again, while I enjoyed the Star Trek event, it’s completely ridiculous to add new items to the game in the last few days that have such OUTRAGEOUS amounts of items needed, especially the synthesizer ore. I have had two super rad cargo bays since week one along with Bonnie going to ladies night and to this day after getting everything from the original time line, except Data’s Chip Factory, I only have 9, this is not a “rare” drop, but an extra rare or even epic. It’s the little things like this that really turn me off from this game and starts to make me wonder if I should just stop playing because it’s too STRESSFUL not what a game is supposed to be, on top of that, it’s even more annoying that you HAVE to collect these items as there’s no way to “craft now” with clams in the replicator. Additionally, to release everything AFTER nearly everyone spent their remaining crystals on the Rupert mystery box is another d**k move. (excuse my language)
I understand that there’s others who have most likely used clams to speed things up and finished, but that’s THEIR problem, why should the rest of us have to be punished with their burden because of those people wanting to speed things up just so they can complain there’s nothing to do, but it only makes it worse when the developers cave in to them.
With these new items, one of two things should at least happen … either make the drops more common or give us yet another week. This event has been riddled with mostly greed because of who/what it is. I would much rather go back to not having clam drops then being fooled into thinking I’m getting free clams when I have to turn around and spend them, NOT FUN. I will say, I bought Spock ONLY to support his foundation, not TinyCo, but I do appreciate TinyCo did that, but I wish all the proceeds went.
LET PEOPLE CATCH UP FOR ONCE! THERE IS NO REASON TO HAVE BACK TO BACK TO BACK TO BACK PRIZES OR EVENTS … I will say it, Simpsons is better because of this reason.
I guess we’re suppose to assume by now we’ll be screwed some way or another.

What has needed clams? Other than four to eight clams spent to squeeze in a seventh round when trying to defeat level 3 Bertram twice with only two freemium characters there has been no occasion over this event that justified using clams.
The Rupert Mystery Box was not a bad move – it was placed after the event had been extended by seven days but on the very first day. Why would anyone spend all their crystals when they know there are still seven days left?
If you had spent lots of saved materials and clams over Wednesday and Thursday then you would be annoyed at Tiny, But to keep splurging the first day of seven left then the annoyance is with oneself.
It isn’t just clams buyers who have tonnes of materials – freemium players who kept up have surpluses too. This event has been very generous to freemium players.
I agree not declaring the contribution with Spock is a bad move – it is the one character I wanted to buy but could not on principle because of no information about the charity contribution.
And I agree a week or two between events would be good.
But not being able (practically) to use clams to buy outfits from the replicators counters a greed claim does not support it.

I still keep collecting them. I would not be surprised if TinyCo one day introduces an item in the game that costs a significant amt of coins. Or does an event down the line with some cool items you can buy with coins. They are always trying new things so I like to be prepared just in case. Also, sometimes they put items in the shop that I like to buy multiples of, to use either for making mazes to corral event npc’s, or to decorate, write stuff, etc. Just like to have options to switch things up.

I keep accidentally losing clams by unintentionally accelerating actions when clicking Tribbles and tiny Co is ignoring my messages. They also ignored my message asking to reverse the clams I spent intentionally accelerating an action minutes before they announced their extensions. WTD?

WTD TinyCo:
1) Players need more time to complete the content, you add more content ?
2) Dilithium was intentionally depleted, you roll out another character costing 8000 dilithium?
3) Drop rates have been horrendousall over the place this event but for the most part are horrible, you release item requirements for replicator items that are virtually unobtainable unless you already had a cache of those materials?
4) People are paying for content they ‘ll never see, you release another collectible character for clams?
**7 of 9 is the 6th clams character this event!
5) Game still occasionally crashes with virtually nothing in quohog, it’s been a year and your programmers have yet to push a stable release?
6) Releasing a Rupert Box for event currency, which has historically marked the end of event content, then releasing high cost event currency content a few days later to put players to the grind for event currency?

Will agree with you on the ratings. Appreciate Tinyco’s gesture to bring Star Trek to us, there must have been lots of negotiations which we were not privy to. However, the event mechanics left much to be desired.

WTD, I caved and got Kirk, which I did not really desire, but I had all the extra materials and thought the game was basically over as it was scheduled to end the next day, and then they added Uhura, who I really would enjoy having, because lots of love and respect for her, but now I have to work at getting the dark matter for her I wasted on Kirk! Grrrrrrrrr! To add to my grrr-y-ness, when they put out the mystery boxes, I paid down most of my crystals, because I figured that was the last hurrah, so I also have to try and gather several thousand crystals, too! It is all doable, but I had thought I was done with this event for the most part, and could work on District 9.
Oh well, at least I have my borg kitteh, all three big cooing jumping tribbles, and a ton of little tribbles running the streets of quahog, so I am not going to “grind” too hard. (always cracks me up that the word “grind” is used in the context of a game that is supposed to be fun and relaxing!)

I clicked through my trove of Romulan Bar’s too quickly and spent almost 40 clams to speed one of then up. That is compounding my frustration at having all the bars I do to begin with. At the time I needed crystals to get Kirk on time. Now I probably will not get Uhura because I spent all my extra green orbs on the bars. I need an extension on the extension now.

WTD….Thought I had finally got rid of the Star Trek theme however keep it going for a week…Boooooo! Events should be optional to join into or even able to deliberately delete them as I had zero interest in it from the start and keeping it annoyingly going for another week is even worse! …I used to play this all the time however now I am just logging in daily for chances of free clams here and there but counting down the day until this annoying theme goes away! However I appreciate they can’t please everyone and this time they haven’t appealed to me as I am sure other events have not to others….Roll on the next event/district/theme, It can’t come quick enough!
Oh and WTD….Why do companies invite you for interviews knowing you don’t have experience in a certain field, interview you telling you did the best at the interview and practical then say “sorry you aren’t experienced enough” …you could have just told me that and saved my time! However how can I get experience if nobody is willing to give me a chance to get experience – arghhhhhhhh! Ps keep up the good work on here ladies! 😀

Mrh5769, I always wonder the same thing…how do I get experience if you won’t give it to me. I also love, “you are to experienced.” If I’m willing to apply for a job and take the pay that is being offered, why don’t you want someone overly qualified.
Job hunting is the worst! Especially over the last couple of years. Guess that’s why I finally went into nursing, always a job for me. Lots of luck. Hope you find a job you are excited about and not just a job that pays the bills.

I can,t get the green orbs, the drop rating is really low. Blowing up ships never ever have me one green orb….WTD , the rooms also drop IT like once every 4th time and bonnie is been collecting them since the beginning and i still don,t have enough for Kirk, not to mention the new caracter, that needs an adițional of 50, really???? Wtd?!?!?
Can we have an exchange rate or something, have a lot of yellow orb that i don,t ușe….

What the Deuce — (also, hinthint for TinyCo) I would have bought Seven of Nine instantly if she always dropped synth ore rather than dark matter. I already have too many premium characters who don’t help with Bertram, don’t help with Away Missions, and don’t help with synth ore. I’ve already been regretting Guinan’s purchase since I clicked on it — and Spock’s. Would love to see them add helpful tasks for the existing premium characters, but if not, adding something more to Seven’s tasks would be smart. One dark matter dropped every 18 hours, with less than a week left in the event, doesn’t really justify the cash spend to me. Just saying… 🙂 I’m interested in Uhura but no idea how I’m going to get 50 synth ores — even with my late-night decision to buy the racquetball court (which didn’t even drop a courtesy ore at time of purchase). I’m not mentioning the voices on these new characters since TinyCo sometimes adds those later and I’ll presume they’ll do it again.
Not to sound all b****y – this event has been incredible with stuff offered, graphics, and entertainment value!

P.S. I forgot to gripe about the abysmally poor payout on the Super Rad Cargo Bay rooms. They drop synth ore ~maybe~ one-tenth the frequency of every other non-clam room – I get phaser energy nearly every round, the yellow guys and blue things drop a decent amount, but I don’t think I even get one ore a day between both Super Rad Bays consistently. And Worf isn’t so great at dropping them from his Borg task either – a Premium character shouldn’t be the worst of the ones able to produce an item.Come on, Worf, do you really want to go on record as being less helpful than Bonnie?? And her task takes 6 hours to your 2!

WTD: Another 8000 dilithium for Uhura? I still need the red shirt and the computer bank from Rupert’s box. I was really hoping to be able to stop battling Bertram, since there are so many storylines waiting to be done, especially with Chris. TinyCo does this every freaking time; very few characters are involved in the event while others do nothing. Why not use some of those characters to move the storyline along, instead of the ones that have to battle Bertram?
In my freemium game, without Stewie, it’s impossible to beat Bertram…so I won’t get Joe, Kirk, or Uhura. TinyCo is making it impossible for freemium players to complete an event.
WTD? I had to put my beloved dog down yesterday…my heart is broken. RIP Bandit. 😭

Wish i knew there’d be 2 new characters before blowing all my crystals and green orbs on b.s. stuff. Very disappointing. Hopefully these two are available at the end of the year for x amount of clams.

Someone wrote on last weeks WTD?! “Some other players are still struggling to gather what they really need!”
I’m a premium player. I shell out money frequently to this company. (I don’t need a freaking medal for it or anything. I’m happy to do it. It’s something nice I do for myself. Like getting a pedicure.) I still haven’t obtained everything. Just got Kirk. I play several times a day, manage to work 3 (yes, three) jobs and have somewhat of a life. (However, side note: I’m so happy!! As of last Monday, I completed my 3rd job and am now only working 2! Hoping to only work my day job this Summer from June until August or Season starts up again. We’ll see.)
I feel no sorrow for players who wrote in complaining they have/had “leftovers.” I’m at a point where I wish I had leftovers! Besdies, they’ll disappear with the event. Why does the game have to give you something to spend it all on? Just be happy you’re done and maybe wait and see if they throw something else at you, like they almost always do. The extension obviously wasn’t for you. And people have told me to calm down, I don’t “have” to get everything. Well, you don’t have to spend everything. Go sit down.
And now, with the new items, I certainly won’t be tapping the Rupert Box. I’ll be lucky if I get to have the complete set of characters and skins. But, I need a break. Playing FGQFS was a fun, silly thing that’s been part of my life for over a year. It’s become more and more frantic, stressful and expensive. I don’t even get to enjoy the dialog bc I’m racing through gameplay trying to beat the damn clock. Since I’ve invested around $300 in this event alone, (don’t look at me, I’m so ashamed) they’ve got me until it ends. Then, I’ll try to check in here and there and see if glitches, gameplay, costs have improved.
But I appreciated that person’s comment. Often, people target freemium players and say it’s doable if you set alarms, or don’t expect to get everything. Or you don’t have to. Well, as a premium player, I’m here to say I’m right there with all those who are so far behind and kinda over this whole thing.
I’m behind in life, people. This is supposed be an escape from all that. 😉
Anyway, as always, thank you ladies; for all you do to help and inform and keep us positive. Sorry we’re a bunch of whiners sometimes. I think it’s just that we expect great things from our little TinyCo. As fans of the FG franchise, I believe that’s a good thing.

1) I have sent many in game messages and a few emails over the last month on multiple issues and I have been ignored every time.
2) A week extension was great for getting kirk but then adding a mystery box so we blow out crystals and then adding a last minute new character is just cruel.
3) Uhura needs 50 of the green ores?! Seriously? They lower the amount for Kirk then slap another 50 on for us to get Uhura?
4) Uhura is a replicator item so you cannot even use clams to overcome the problem of those green ore.

Tell me about it, I had loads of spare Synthisiser Ore, more than enough to get Urhura and the Gold Bertram Statue, but when there was nothing else to use them on yesterday I spend quite a few of them on creating some duplicate items, then I wake up early this morning to see the new characters added, and now I don’t have enough of them, I have managed to claw some back but it is quite annoying. I also had around 167 Phaser Energy, and seeing that you could get the Ore from blowing up Borg Cubes I thought that would be a great help, but after using ALL of them I didn’t get a single one of those green cubes drop.

I recently spent clams to speed up a Bertram battle. I finished the battle, but the timer ran out before I could tap the check marks. I lost the clams AND dark energy. I was pissed. So I sent them a message that I wasn’t going to spend anymore money on their game. They got back to me pretty quick.

Long story, short: You have to clear the check marks before the timer runs out, not just finish the battle. And if you want to get a crackhead’s attention, take away his crack.

This. I’ve been having one-sided conversations with in-game support for months. 50 ores was too much for Kirk but not seemingly for Uhura: I’m still 17 short and room-swapping frantically as I don’t trust phaser battles to drop them in sufficient quantities.
The point of the week long extension, I thought, was to allow the majority of players to catch up with what was already available: an event-currency mystery box in the last week is fine, but dropping extra collectibles after the fact, again with less than a week to finish collecting for them with no clam shortcut, is just a slap in the face.
Also, a WTD from earlier: it made no sense having Talosian Stewie as a replicator item when it needed none of the “five elements” the replicator normally uses. It should have gone straight in Al’s to prevent people from over-collecting the required items, especially as it was part of a costume collection.
This whole event has been awesome and WTD-worthy in equal measures, and I seriously hope TinyCo learns a bunch of lessons from it that they clearly didn’t from Kingdom of the Full Moon or Miracle on Spooner St.

I am thankful for the extension. Don’t get me wrong. But I was just about to relax thinking i’ve done everything in the event a freemium can do and finally got everything, BAM mystery boxes and metal status and new characters everywhere. With only 4 days left for the event to end, I think it was highly unnecessary pulling a last min rush like that.

Hey there,
I’ve been diggin’ this Star Trek event since day one and damn I wish there could be yearly revisits to the franchise (DS9 2016, VOY 2017, ENT 2018) but obviously not everyone will be for that I guess. Hopefully we’re all just happy with this plethora of new characters. I know I am… well, until just recently. What the deuce happened to Scotty and Khan’s voices?!
They originally had pretty decent sound-bites (K – “Let them eat static!”, S – “The bridge controls start’d go’n haywire”) but now Scotty sounds like a bad Mike Myers impersonator doing a bad Shrek impression and Khan sounds like a Latino car salesman.
I enjoy tapping my characters and hearing their voices, but these two are just blech now. Hope it’s not permanent, maybe just a temporary swap while TinyCo work on better sound-bites. If not though, if it’s a usage issue with the estates of Montalban and Doohan, that’ll be a big shame. Might be the same reason we haven’t gotten a Deforest Kelley voiced Bones yet…
Oh well.
Still love the game.

I hope they make this a yearly thing as well, there is so much content to be explored. I did not like how tinyco tried to compress three generations into 1 event, they should have just focused on Star Trek TNG since the bulk of the content (TNG freemium characters and enterprise design) seems to be pulled from there. But of course, there might be challenges on their end which I would not have been aware of.

I cannot believe how annoyed I am. At 3 am, I got Bertram to 0 health at his last stage (the one worth 50). Done, he’s down, set Picard to facepalm because I’m not staying up to wait for B.
Fast forward to 10 am, I’m trying to calculate if I can beat him again with having slept in.
Game crashes a couple times, normal for me by now. Finally get on the enterprise, start pressing check marks.
Geordie, check. Chris, check. Bertram’s down. What? And then I got two payouts. What?!
My freaking thing reset at some point! I lost the 50 star-thingys I got and like 2000 crystals.
I can’t believe it would do that. Especially when I cleared more peoples checks, set them for other stuff, closed the game and then HARD closed the game. It did not crash after collecting from Bertram or anything.

Sometimes the game doesn’t sync so it doesn’t save your progress, the best thing you can do is visit Ollieland, which (I believe) makes the game sync and save, I use facespace before I quit, that seems to work too.

I forgot to add, visiting Ollieland can cause crashes too if your game already crashes a lot, so be careful with that. Facespace might be the safer option.

I was one of the players that lost a week in this already slow progressing game. I want to get the characters, I wish it was extended longer. I don’t even have the Stewie skin yet. No way I’ll be able to get Kurt, Picard or Joe – can’t collect money fast enough 😦

WTD – Thought the extra week was for players to catch up and I’ve already got all the characters so I spent all my synthesiser energy on useless stuff in the replicated then they released ohura who needs 50 synthesiser ore and I now have 4 and don’t think I’ll be able to get her. I have been playing since the start and have every character and outfit possible so this is so frustrating.
