Rounding the final few days for the Star Trek Event. For those of you that were wondering just what to do in the extra week given to us while those that needed it caught up, well you got two new Character options to try for among other things. In this post, we will be going over the questlines for Uhura & Seven of Nine.

And that my friends completes the two questlines. If you’re working on unlocking items for a certain character, my advice is don’t worry so much about these. They can be worked on later. Focus mainly on unlocking the character you’re working on and come back to these when you can

I’m so upset I just defeted cannon Borg and they never gave me the 50 dark matter i all ready had 72 stud up all night to get that 50 so I could get uhura now I can’t i would of had 122 but it still says 72 this sucks

Quagmire says that you just cant win. Well I’m sure close. Got all characters from this event. Doing max Bertrum 2 more times to get silver and gold statues. Would spend clMs on gift boxes if they didnt have the minerials as I dont need anything more of anything. Good event, need way more land. Not just 3 more, but 6 more. Oh and would love to sell extra glass office buildings. Thanks girls. Hope Mom is okay. Happy cinco.

I just unlocked Uhura, borg ships do drop ore its just a terrible drop rate (4 from 106 crystals). all i need now is 8 t energy for silver Bertram, 22 ore and 100 dark matter (Bertram is being killed on tier 5 atm) for gold Bertram. So it will be tight in the time left …
Oh and 500,000 crystals to get the red shirt from the mystery box as I already have 22 assorted tribbles ……

I missed out on purchasing Seven of Nine before the two day timer ran out. I noticed she is still for sale in the store. That’s great that I can still possibly purchase her – it gives me a chance to make or purchase the necessary clams. However, what will I be missing lion from the two day timer that was there initially? If it’s just some star fleet xp then that’s cool, I don’t mind missing out on that. I just wanted to make sure that I haven’t messed myself out of something important like the ability to earn another character or something. I can’t see what the rewards are for the two day quest. Unless that was needed to be purchased in those 2 days to allow her to do ANY quest, which I still don’t mind.
Anyway, what exactly would I have received if I had bought her before the timer expired? And will I still receive her character quest line after I purchase her now?

Timer was ONLY on her task that triggered in the game asking you to purchase her. Nothing more. 😉

So I fat fingered the Replicator and created a second Data Chip Factory. There’s no prompt to ask if you’re sure and when I closed the window it still gave it to me. It wasted 15 of my green materials which has put me too far behind to be able to unlock Uhura. It was my mistake and I’ve left the Chip Factory in the inventory. I messaged TinyCo Saturday and haven’t heard back yet. I asked for them to revert the purchase, take the item back and replenish the items spent. They’ve always been so understanding in the last. Bunny, do you think I have a shot at getting this corrected?

Wow I did the exact same thing yesterday, I have a request out with them too. It would have been close on the synthesizer ore as is, would need 12 if the reimbursed me for the data chip factory, but if they dont it will be impossible.
Just wish they would give you more notice on things like this since I would have been trying to get more synthesizer ore for a while instead of just endlessly going for more Dilithium which I have far more than I need.

Did you get any resolution? I havent heard back from them yet and messaged again today…its a shame because I am now 5 dark matter short and 12 synthesizer ore….basically the exact cost of the data chip factory.

Got 7 of 9 when they released her, had to get her! I have purchased or obtained every character except for Borg Consuella. A mystery box for her is just to much to get her and I just don’t have the clams. I just got the dilithium to get Uhura and the only thing left for me to get is the flaming Red shirt deco and Warpcore 5 and Gold Bertram. Just need the dilithium and 3 more Synthesizer ore. Luckily I had everything else stocked up for Uhura.

I think there may have been some contractual thing that may not have let them keep using them. Hard to get all the details, but I understand. All legal stuff with copyrights.

I trust you ladies, but I was having no luck getting ore from the phaser battles, even hitting small asteroids over the Borg Cube. I finally got one just…which ensured I got my 50th ore to unlock Uhura. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that I may be able to get another 25 before the event ends, but I won’t hold my breath. I’d rather put the crystals toward getting the last two Rupert box items I need – Warp Level 5 and Flaming Red Shirt.

I just cannot get enough synthesizer ore. I’ve gotten about 8 in the past 4 days and need another 24.

Try the Planets too. I get the most of mine from Borgs and Planets.

Are any of the planets dropping Synth Ore at a good rate? I’ve tried a few but no luck. Was wondering if anyone was having any luck and with which planet/character combo. Thx!

Most I have tried gave me two like every 2nd or 3rd one, but all I have left in them is either Crystals or Ore.

I send 6 characters to Nom-Nomulus and gotten Ore two times today. Im going to keep on doing that until I get what I need.

What I like to do is swap out the 2 Super Cargo Bay with other rooms. It may take 10 hours to build and get 2 Synthesizer Ore, but they’re sure drops making it better than waiting 6 hours twice and getting nothing.

Honestly I couldn’t find value in 7of 9 at this time. No clam rebate and no particular use this close to the end, so chalk this up to the first character I won’t have. Got Uhura and was looking at the Borg Bertram statues. After careful thought, I chose buildings over decos and decided I didn’t need the statues as they’ll pretty much collect dust in my inventory. Instead, I decided I’ll work toward getting the red shirt on fire guy from the Rupert box (only one I’m missing) and build up multiple buildings to end out the event. Building are occasionally used to generate items in other events and at least drop coins after the event. That said, hated giving up on Bertram decos but in the end, a whole lot less stress over trying to make the high level of items needed to complete the 3 statues in time. Just glad this event will finally be over and I can go back to being happy casual player versus angry stressed paying customer. Anyone else make a similar call with the buildings versus decos?

I did not feel the need to have three statues, and just got the bronze with the leftover dark matter I obtained to get Uhura. (The fan dance is everything!) And with Uhura, I am pretty much done with the event. Only need Uhura to finish her martini, and all the quests are done (except for the characters I did not buy) I have everything I wanted out of the mystery boxes, so no need to go there. The only object except plants I would want is a walking borg, but that is mainly to be able to have quagmire give him massages, and I won’t stress out on getting materials if I don’t have them already, or they don’t fall with rooms.
The rest of any crystals earned between now and the end of the event will go to plants. I don’t need more buildings, as I do not have enough land to place them and not wind up with a cluttered mess of urban sprawl!
It is nice not to have to worry about timers anymore, in fact, I am going out with friends to have dinner and to see the new Avengers flick, and I won’t give this game a passing thought!

I spent all my crystals on the bonus box on two of my games, the lower level ones. So no way will i be able to get uhura on them.
On my main game i earn crystals fast enough i already have 7.5k again, BUT those green energy cubes i might maybe get enough if im lucky. Transporter energy is dropping slow so i can’t get much from away missions..i used up almost all i had for edo herbert. And the borg cube doesn’t drop them at all anymore. Glitch???

Borg Cube is a Chance drop like the tasks, not always. So you won’t see them every time. I get the most from Borgs

Thanks to the extension I think I’ll be able to get enough dark matter for both Kirk and Uhura before time’s up. Not even going to bother with Captain Pike Joe because Uhura is all kinds of awesome so I must get her instead!
For people having trouble getting enough crystals, I’ve had loads of luck sending Peter or Lois to the Borg Cube. About one out of every three trips I get either 500 crystals or 5 clams and at the very least you get what you’d get from a regular 1 hour task!

It’s really too bad about these two characters being released when they were. Once I got Kirk with a day to spare from the original deadline, I let Bertram go back to zero and decided I was done with the event even with the extension. Curious that they were able to get all the copyrights and legal stuff done in a day or two to be able to put these two characters in the game after making the decision to extend the event. Or perhaps they were planning to extend the event in advance of the final week so they held the stuff back …….
One thing is for sure, not good will to put out an FAQ to spend all your materials or lose them, then put out a Rupert box (which usually signifies the end of the event) and THEN put out a new character and the three statues that require the same materials you were encouraged to use up. I am going without. The statues would just sit in my inventory and I don’t need another character who will be nothing more than a coin collector.

They may have had them planned for later. At times they will do a LOT of Characters and items… but they may not play well into the Event so they will save them for another time… like a Comic Con Event. They usually secure most items 3 months in advance. So they may have planned more for Star Trek, but chose to go with mainly The Next Generation.
One of the main reason we do not post spoilers. The other game we right on is same. They have a lot of items in the files… but not all are released.
Matt spoke on this in our Q&A. How things just don’t play out well, so they may be pulled from original plan. These two gals may have been pulled, but when a week was added… they scrambled to put them back in. It’s why I think it took them longer to announce the extension. Wednesday instead of Tuesday as they originally told players messaging in. They had to determine just WHAT to use to fill that time. Most players wanted 7 of 9. So they put her out.

Agree the drop rate for Synthesizer Ore is far too low. I really want that Gold Borg Bertram statute but I’ll be lucky to just get Uhura at this rate. Still very thankful that we have this last week!

I haven’t even come close to getting this far. I’m still trying to unlock Data and Vulcan Quagmire. Buying clams is a bit too expensive for me 😦

I’m having extreme difficulty with synthesizer ore. I was extremely happy to see the drop to 30 for Pickard (which was still extremely difficult), now I need another 50! Any advice on obtaining the ore?

7 of 9 was a must have. Uhura was an easy replicator task. A little disappointed more Voyager characters weren’t made available during the event. Janeway and B’Ellana ( or however it’s spelled) would have been sweet. And again, still disappointed Wesley Crusher wasn’t in this. Oh well. Maybe I’ll ask him in person at Comiccon this weekend.

I destroyed the Borg cube 8 times to get 1 green crystal. It is just not worth it right now. I will wait for Ti nyco to tweak the drop rate. I need 20 more green crystals to get Uhura. It is going to be close.

I purchased Seven because when the event started I decided I had to have all of the characters introduced into the event. I’m greedy now and want more Voyager characters, though. Captain Janeway would be hilarious.

Got Seven of Nine. Working on getting Uhura. Need 18 more green synthetizer ores and I’ll get her, but the ores are getting harder to obtain because they just won’t drop. I wasted all my phasers getting the Borg cubes, and not a single drop. Bonnie hardly gives me any of them anymore, the same goes with Troi, Worf, the starfleet rooms. Quagmire has given me a couple here and there, but I don’t know if there will be time to get Uhura. As for getting the Borg Beltram gold statue, definitely not a chance. 😕

glad to see Uhura’s quest isnt too long and time killing…i should unlock her today or tomorrow i imagine so should have just enough time to do her quest before the event ends…woo. i’ll be starting Part 4 of Seven’s quest in a few hours so safe there as well. 🙂

I’m kinda surprised by the lack of multiple 16h and 24h tasks in the questlines. Would totally make sense in the scheme of TinyCo’s planning with only a handful of days left in the event… 😉

Just unlocked Uhura this morning bought 7 of 9 Friday night. I hope there will be Facespace entries added to both of them soon. I hate seeing a blank page for them. Btw are they voiced by their original actresses, I can’t really tell? I don’t think you mentioned it in a post yet, Bunny.

I still need a lot more synthesizer ore, but have been dropping it very slowly lately. I have a ton of phaser energy, and was wondering if you could tell me which objects might still drop synthesizer ore if i shoot them. All there is lately are the borg cube, the cloaking warbird thing, and asteroids. Thanks
