Star Trek Character Profile: Uhura & Seven of Nine

Hey there Tribblemakers!

Star Trek has taken over Quahog!  A Starfleet Shuttle has conveniently crashed in Quahog and apparently someone decided that the future of the Galaxy should rest on Peter’s shoulders.  (cause that sounds like a smart idea!)  It’s your mission to help Peter save the Galaxy, after all it’d be a pretty boring game if he did it by himself!

Along the way you’ll encounter characters from the USS Enterprise that you may need to acquire by Clams or Collecting Materials. Here are two of those Characters. Uhura and Seven of Nine.

Uhura 7 of 9

Let’s take a look at this rescued Borg Female from Star Trek: Voyager and this Communications Officer from Star Trek: The Original Series will bring to your game when unlocked.

These two Characters were given to us as a Surprise when a technical glitch caused the Star Trek Event to be extended an extra week.

SEVEN OF NINE

You will find Seven of Nine in your Shopping Cart Menu under the Event Icon for Purchase, 265 Clams. Seven of Nine Menu

If you decide that spending your precious Clams is worth it to YOU and you make the choice to purchase her, you will be able to bring in a New Character into your game. You've Got Seven of Nine

She does come voiced and with a questline, Seventh Heaven. (More on that in another post.)

Seven of Nine also comes with a complete set of tasks!  Tasks that will help you earn more Dilithium Crystals, the event currency for Star Trek, along with Dark Matter.

So let’s take a look at Seven of Nine’s tasks:

Seven of Nine Sleep in Charging Station

Task Length Earns Location
Be Condescending 2hrs 10Dilithium Crystal2Star Trek XP Enterprise

Just for fun, here are some of her Phrases…

“I will comply”
“You’ve been damaged”
“All your ships belong to us”
“Silver bodysuits are extremely practical”
“Remove your hand or I will remove your arm”
“I do not share your values”
“No… I would never work at ‘Space Hooters'”
“Unacceptable”
“I am amused by Human Behavior”

UHURA

You can find Uhura in the Replicator aboard the Enterprise. In order to get her into your game, you will need to collect Materials to be able to “Create” her. Uhura Replicator Create

The items you will need to collect are the following…

Dilithium Crystals8000 Dilithium

Dark Matter 175 Dark Matter

Synthesizer Ore50 Synthesizer Ore

If you do successfully collect the items for her, she will be transported down to your Quahog into your Inventory Storage under the Star Trek Event icon. Uhura Inventory

You will need to go back to Quahog to retrieve her from the Inventory and put her into her game. You've Got Uhura

Once she is in your game you will get a questline for her, An Illogical Woman. She will also come with a complete set of tasks!  Tasks that will help you earn more Dilithium Crystals, the event currency for Star Trek.

So let’s take a look at Uhura’s tasks:

And that my friends completes  the character profile for Uhura!

Just for fun, here are some of her Phrases…

“I could… if I had an Android body”
“What’s the frequency Kenneth?”
“Message transmitted Sir”
“Peace and quiet appeals to me”
“Oh HELLL no”

“Is there a problem Gentlemen?”
“Tell me I’m an attractive young lady”
“The Little Red Dress is still fashionable in the 2260’s”
“I just don’t feel comfortable without my earpiece”

There you have it. Two new ladies added to our game with an extra week of game play. What do you think of them? Did you spend the Clams for a Borg? Did you unlock Uhura yet? What do you think of their tasks? What do you think of their questlines? How about their Phrases? Let us know.

  1. I’m 19 ore from Uhura so I don’t think I’ll be getting her. The room switching “trick” does not work. When the Super Rad Cargo Bay finishes, it pays nothing. Unless I get really lucky today, I dont see it happening….

  2. SO Happy to have just unlocked Uhura! I was a little worried but then everything that could pay out with synthesizer ore did pay out with the ore and man did I seriously hype when that happened! Now to spend the rest of my transporter energy on getting the Herbert skin…

Supremely happy with this event. It was a ton of fun and frustration. But then it wouldn’t have felt like it was worth it if we didn’t have to work for it.

I only have enough dilithium and dark matter to either get Talosian Stewie and Pike Joe or just Uhura. I don’t have a deal breaker because I’m a fan of TOS and the menagerie was one episode that I enjoy and can vividly recall.

  4. I would have been happy only getting the original characters / skins but i am getting close to getting uhura and am trying not to get excited yet! Only 4 more synthesizer ores :):) i havent gotten any from my many borg missions or blowing them ip but have gotten them from clearing the borgs and just remembered the good ol room switching trick… i dhould get her but not celebrating till i do…. she will be a nice little bonus. … one more character to add to my collection and annoy me in a couple weeks when i have you send them all on tasks lol…cause I’m to greedy to put them in inventory not earning any money haha

  5. I have never heard Seven say any of these, lol. Funny. The only thing she EVER says in my world is ” I got 99 problems but the Borg ain’t one”,,,whichIi really wish she didn’t say, cause its extremely lame….

  6. I just might be able to get Uhura. I’ve got 29 Synthesizer Energy and have been swapping in and out the 2 Super Cargo Bays, which gives 4 a day. That’s 8-10 confirmed, so I just need 12 more through Troi, Quag, Bonnie and Worf drops. If all else fails I’ll use up all me Phaser Energy I haven’t been using. I’ll be close to 50 by Thursday.

Still working on getting Clams for Seven on the hour every hour with Lois. I’ve been getting a good amount of 500 Crystals, but not so many Clams like yesterday where I got like 20-25 with some back to back.

  7. Has anyone actually won synthesizer ore from shooting the Borg cubes? I’ve downed 12 straight and got nothin but XP.

  8. I’m not really happy with them putting the new characters in *after* the Rupert box was in and it was the day that the event was supposed to end. I could have instantly received the character if I hadn’t already used all of my Synthesizer ore and dark matter on other items so they would not be wasted at the end of the event and my effort to procure them would be in vain. I have been left with trying to get the ore (impossibly now it would seem) the dark matter I got quickly with Bertram. I’ve already spent more than enough of my own personal money on the event because I enjoy Star Trek but I feel like I’ll have to end up spending more money on clams to open a million boxes to try and get the ore needed.

    • The Currency Boxes usually hit the last day of the Event. So if it was already coded as such… it kinda just goes as programmed. The rest is more to keep those already done from not getting too bored the extra week. You don’t HAVE to get the additional Characters. Only options. 😉

We always keep telling people and have told them… wait til the last day ALWAYS to spend it all. You never know what will hit. 😉

  9. Why make Uhura require a silly amount of Synthesizer Ore? Did they not learn from Kirk? I can’t be the only player that is drowning in other collectables I have no use for but struggling to get Synthesizer Ore despite putting all eligible characters on tasks for it constantly!

I bought Seven of Nine just because, well, it’s Seven of Nine, but her 18 hour task for Dark Matter is useless to anyone with enough premium characters to fight Bertram (and frankly since it’s only 1 dark matter useless to everyone else too!). It would have been 1000 times more useful if she dropped Synthesizer Ore on one of her tasks…

They could have literally made Uhura cost 50 of each of the other collectable items and it still would have been easier than getting 50 Synthesizer Ore – I would have been able to unlock her after a couple of days if that were the case…

  10. Would like to have seven of nine in my collection however not worth 265 clams for a character that is unemployed in two days time! Am collecting dark matter towards Uhura instead.

  11. I don’t know how anyone can have as many synthesizer ore as what TinyCo is requiring for Uhura… I try to get all of the characters, and even I’ve come to accept that I won’t get her. I only have 17/50. No way I will be able to get her in time. Oh well… you win some you lose some.

  12. I only have enough green cubes for either uhura or kirk, who should I pick?? Who has more visual actions??

    Like

    • Hmmmm… Kirk has more, but only if you have Spock. Otherwise both have only 2. He does fight a hologram Gorn, look at himself in mirror, then fight Spock.

She does the fan dance, then dances around listening to “music” through her earpiece.

    • Uhuru Is better because it is ACTUALLY her voice. Kirk, although the crown Jewel of the event…is a big letdown with the voice. He and Kahn and Scotty all sound like they used way underpaid interns, who lost a dare on their first day at Tiny Co, and for punishment had to desecrate the voices of cherished actors…..

  13. they should make a task for Uhura and Kirk to “awkwardly kiss” like in the old school TV show episode where these weirdo aliens (dressed like Romans) made them make out 70’s style… lol i don’t remember too many Star Trek episodes but this one had history… i believe (and could be wrong) that that was the first interracial kiss on television??… it was sooooo awkward at first… they were trying to fight it and then gave into the lust!!

or maybe a Spock and Uhura task… where they “Longingly look at each other from a far” … meh… have em make out too!

BTW… anyone out there, male or female find William Shattner sexy?… not now but “back in the day”?

    Like

    • Season 3 Episode 10: Plato’s Stepchildren.

And yes, it WAS the first scripted broadcast inter-racial kisses. She originally was supposed to be kissing Spock… even practiced it, but Shatner saw this and… being the actor he is… stated it was HIM that should kiss her. Lol.

      • so did you think young Shattner was sexy?

        • Lol. No. He is a silly silly man in person, but no. I wasn’t attracted to him. His acting cracked me up too much. 😉

          • did you meet the Shattner?

lol that just reminded me of South Park… when Cartman saw the Terrence and Phillip movie… “yes, yes,I saw the Terrence and Phillip movie, now who wants to touch me….I SAID WHO WANTS TO F*@%ING TOUCH ME!!” then Butters strokes his arm and says “ewwwwww”
            heehee!

did you meet Kirk?? and can i touch you?

            • Lol. I did. A couple of times. Came with my line of work. Many celebs and artists came in n out of my life. 😉

And if you wanna to touch me… you gotta find me. Hope you got your running shoes on, bunnies hop FAST!! 😛

Well maybe not… They always say don’t meet your heroes. Not too sure who “they” are really but I did meet Drew Bledsoe (quarterback for NE before Brady) that guy was a class act… Was a make a wish thing with my best buds family. Great guy but just an Ok QB lol GO TFB!!!

Oh and Bunny I’m not fast at all… Wouldn’t stand a chance chasing you down.

But I am smartish so watch out for wabbit twaps 🐰😉

                • Lol. It is true. A lot of Musicians, Celebs, TV Actors & Actresses, etc I met I really wish I didn’t. They weren’t so kind in person or a LOT shorter than I thought.

Nothing like destroying a crush when you realize they are shorter than you. 😛

Don’t worry, this fluffy Bunny won’t get very far anyway. More likely to trip over my own feet and fall flat on my face. Lol 😉

  14. I’m still missing a bunch of green crystals for Uhura. I tried a few different transporter missions yesterday with limited success. I’m switching back to the borg cube in hope of clams and rely on Borgs, cargo bay, and Bonnie to get the remaining crystals.
Overall, this was a fun event. It was much harder than any of the previous ones.

  15. FAQs say I can keep the Star Trek characters I unlock during this period even after its end, but what will they do then? I mean, what’s the point in collecting dilitium and starfleet xp points though their tasks if I cannot use them?

    Like

    • Much like those from Comic Con and all the other Events, their currency changes to standard game coin and XP. Their tasks usually move to new locations within Quahog too. Will we go over all that when the Event ends. 😉

  16. I love the the little pop reference quotes for both. Though Seven’s is missing the “are” (and they took literary licence and changed bases to ships) for “All your ships are belongs to us” (their mistake, not addicts). I am still surprised that “what’s the frequency, Kenneth” is still going as a meme. I think that was the start of Dan Rather’s fall from the pinnacles of the news game ending with forged military documents.

    Like

    • The Phrases cracked me up. Including that one. I think it’s funnier without the are… as I feel a Borg would have tried to correct the saying by dropping the “are”. Lol

What’s the Frequency Kenneth made me giggle.
