I know we’re taking a break this weekend…but we couldn’t let today go by without saying something. You see in the US today is Mother’s Day a day when we honor the women who gave us life!
So a BIG Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the Mom’s out there from Bunny and I! We hope you have a fantastic day and your kids shower you with breakfast in bed, handmade gifts & no fighting! 😉
And now for our BIG Announcement….
We’re adding a new Addict!
Well…in a little more than 5 months we’ll be adding a new Addict. A new and very Tiny Addict!
So for those of you that can’t read between the lines….my husband and I are very happy to announce that we’re having a baby! Due this fall…. 🙂
So as some of you may have noticed…I’ve been a bit under the weather the last couple of months. This is why. Ah first trimester sickness…so glad to put you behind me!
And for those curious…here’s a look at our official announcement that went out earlier today…
Very excited for this little one to arrive and happy to finally let you guys in on the secret!

Congrats! But I don’t know if aiming for a “tiebreaker” for team fandom is the best idea for harmony in the home. You don’t want to have two Yankees fans ganging up on one Phillies fan, or vice versa.
Luckily there is a solution. Raise him (or her) as an Astros fan. It even keeps the National League versus American League harmony, because even though the ‘Stros are in the American League, none of their fans want them to be. ^_^

It’s more an inside joke with our families, that plays off our wedding. My husband’s from just outside of Philly so his entire family and friends are all Phillies fans. Whereas my entire family and friends are Yankee fans (with the exception of an uncle and 2 cousins who are RedSox fans…that we tolerate 😉 ). So at our wedding it was a big deal about Phillies fans on one side of the room and Yankees on another. Everyone got a big kick out of it..plus the Priest who married us is a big Yankee fan. So he had some kind words about what it meant to be a Yankee fan vs. a Phillies fan.
Between my husband and I it’s all in good fun. We root for each other’s teams (as long as they’re not playing each other) and when we go to games my husband will wear a Yankees Jersey and hat at Yankee Stadium and I’ll wear Phillies gear at Citizen’s Bank Park. 🙂
