Nature Weekend is upon us, heading out of our games tomorrow (May 14th), but before then… I wanted to give you an idea of just what the questline holds for those that may not get to it or almost there to complete it. Here is the short version of Bird Beard Peter’s Questline and the Nature Weekend Mini Event.
UPDATE: TinyCo did confirm if you DO Unlock the Costume for Bird Beard Peter you will be able to continue with Naughty by Nature and Watching the Birds.

That completes the Nature Weekend Mini-Event Questlines. If you’re working on unlocking items for Bird Beard Peter, my advice is don’t worry so much about these. Focus mainly on unlocking Him and come back to these when you can

Family Guy Addicts 
I spent 15 clams to buy the last bird i needed. The costume activated and some conversation fired off. I sent peter on a bird task and exited the game. It had plenty of time to recognize the costume and sync. When I returned to the game, Peter was in storage and does not have the costume. I contacted support in game, but thought i would share for any others in similar situations. Hopefully Tiny Co will be able to remedy.

And TC lied about the quests. One if the two disappeared since no one was actively working on it, and the other one let me finish the step I was on, but then ended.

Both of my questlines disappeared even though I had unlocked Bird Beard Peter. So much for them sticking around. 😕

but for me Naughty By Nature ended on Pt. 7 and Watching the Birds ended on Pt. 2
unless I’m just not seeing it or stroking out… lol @ the episode where Peter got free burgers for life and had a stroke (not saying having a stroke is funny… had one myself and it’s pretty darn scary) but that episode was haaaalarious.

Naughty by nature questline dissappeared! I was on part 7. I know it doesnt matter to many but im a completionist and so its frustrating. I bought the necessary items in advance. Fail tinyco!

Need 1 blue and 6 fuschia.. my James wood High didn’t drop any birds until yesterday after I sent them a message.. then I’ve received a drop every time since.. should have emailed them sooner. Just not possible to get 6 in by the end and I’d hate to spend clams. Just sucks to see something I worked hard for slip by.

Thank you for posting these quest lines. It is nice to know what I will never get to do. I am stuck on part 6 because I couldn’t release Bonnie from trying to get pink birds. I am now mathematically eliminated from getting Bird Beard Peter and I won’t spend clams on a skin. It just seems like things are stacked against a f reemium player.

I nearly have enough for the outfit, but might end up short a pink bird or two. If I decide to speed up people who are already working on actions to get pink birds when the event is about to end, will they have the normal drop rate for them?

Yes, even with speeding up the droprate is still the usual droprate

I have just unlocked Bird Beard Peter, they must have increased the drop rate for the blue birds I got more than half of them in less than 2 days. Two days ago it wasn’t looking possible that I’d get him.

The drop rate for the pink birds was worse than the blue. The blue were the rare ones 😕…I don’t know why, but in my head I really wanted bird beard Peter. Oh well, I tried 😉

85/30/25 birds. Tinyco needs to slow their roll. THAT for a week event is absolutely ridiculous. People have lives and cant be in the game 24/7. I check my game like 5 times a day and I could not get it. Its ridiculous.

Just completed the outfit! Glad to see that questlines will remain past the deadline. The amount of grinding for birds kept me away from completing them.

Still need 6 Pink Birds to get outfit. This means the game has to drop every time for me to get it. I’ll have to set my clock to 4:30AM to hopefully get the first 3 and then the last 3 at noon. If I don’t get them I’ll not got to pay Clams out of principle. TinyCo doesn’t deserve my Clams for poorly thought out events.

Got him before I left for work.Yay. 🙂 Hes now doing the morning routine. The tooth brushing is so cute! lol. Haven’t done any other tasks with him yet. I couldn’t get the last two green birds, so I spent a few clams to finish him off. All the others were pretty simple to get.

I’ve noticed a few other people were unaware of an end time for this. When I launched the game after the star trek event I looked for an end date, but it never showed up in my game. I assumed bird beard Peter had become part of the normal game and not just a short event. This is garbage. If I had received a notification in the game it was ending soon I would have done things differently. I wonder if this is another thing tinyco neglected to include in the android version or if it was just yet another glitch. I’ve spent too much money on this stupid game, but no more.

I’m sorry you feel that way. I’m majority on Android. All the Screenshots I have and post are from an Android device. The dates been there. I honestly think many were hoping it wasn’t another grind in the event. But the dates were there from day one. I stayed up late and left late on my vacation weekend to make sure those details were up here on our site.

I didn’t bother to much with this event. Just so burnt out from last one now way was I going to grind again.
These guys need to understand this is a game. If it only going to be grinds after grind they going to lose players.
I honestly worked harder on the last event then I did at work, that ain’t good….

No worries. Many were burnt out on the grind. It was the “grindiest” (lol new word) Event yet.
Take a break if needed. We did. Too much back to back can be grueling on anyone. We know this all too well. 😉

What do you mean? The event launched with the end date stamped right on it. (See main post).
The pop up for Bird Beard Peters task to create him “Watching the Birds” has it stamped on it.
It’s in the FAQ inside the game itself.
They posted on their Facebook site today as well confirming not only the day, but time too. 3 PM PDT.

I wrote it: time, not date, I mean something like hours, minutes and of course a timezone (in this world if you don’t write any I can assume it’s Universal Time or, at least, Greenwich Mean Time, that’s almost the same). XD
BTW I don’t have a Facebook account, I’m still convinced they should write it somewhere in game, why not using that popup?

It is in the game… FAQ. Those they can update instantly. Pop ups take a bit more time and coding involved.
There may be one tomorrow in the game (well…later today).
Outside that… Their Facebook/Twitter for those they can’t or don’t access their game often enough to see it.
Or there’s always here. We try to help all we can with info like that as we have to plan our daily schedules too to coincide with start n end of events. So one of us is around to help if/when needed. 😉

In this case there was nothing at all in my game indicating an end date. As this seemed to be a short part of the questline I didn’t look up anything outside the game itself. The only place in game that shows an end date is under help & support, but as I’ve been playing this for over a year I won’t look there (especially when I’m not made aware there’s a reason to do so).
There honestly was nothing at all in my game to say this was just a short event, the announcement plate didn’t show up in my game.

I was a little surprised by the “S” word in the description of the Lion too. Having said that Family Guy is rated appropriately in the app store and on TV, but still…
Feels like the birds are set too high for this one as well, I am a frequent player, have all the yellow birds, but still way off for the others.

More of a rant than anything else here.
Been looking for a quitting spot and I think this Peter beard deal is it.
We can forget Jesus being nigh unattainable as it was cut off before you can finish him, Christmas event shortened needlessly, New Years event extended needlessly, star trek extended but still cut off too short, this game does not understand balance or it’s audience. I remember laughing when they removed all the snow at the end of January even though there was snow everywhere this year going into March, so seasonal awareness is also not so good with game design. Oh we also completely skip Easter but remember Star Trek, and the list goes on.
Unless you simply have nothing else to do so that you could devote your life to this game, you miss out on content. I have banged on buildings and characters and reassignments 100s of times, have well over 1 million coins, sitting at level 57 and I still miss out on things.
To that end, they really should let you buy thing with all that cash you painstakingly banked but NOOOO, it’s all about clams. In the end, I end up having a distaste of this time trap and a genuine growing taste of all things Family Guy. It’s stopped being fun.

The drop rate for the green birds has been horrible. Tinyco should have a send a friend a gift daily to help with sad people that have no luck with drops

8 blue, 8 fuchsia and 11 green left (no chance). My drop rates have always been poor, I even set timers for this one, so all tasks have been back to back. Even common drops were at best 50%

I need 8 Fuchsia and 5 green. I don’t understand how I was able to get all the rare birds and 85 yellow and yet can’t get all the uncommon and common birds. I have played continous since Satuday night when the quest began.

Will the questline a continue after the time is up? It seems like getting the skin is time is doable, but there is no way someone will be able to get the skin and complete all the tasks for the two main quests.

So I posted about this quest I think two days ago now. My blue birds have gone from 7 Then to I think 9 now. Ridiculous!! I know being a freemium player I may have to spend some of my precious clams that I’ve been saving a day at a time, to buy Rupert. But when the drop rate for birds is so terribly poor and my bird house, that is supposed to give me at least a rare chance at a blue bird, has only dropped TWO birds sine I built it a little over 4 days ago, I dont know what else to say. At his point I would be willing to spend Fifty or so of my 230 some clams but I still would have to spend 336 clams to get this outfit, that is absurd! Bad job TinyCo!

Little under a day left and I need 9 pink and 4 green. As the pink are an 8 hour task it looks like I’ll be missing out on this one. After 2 months of a daily grind I’ll go ahead and sleep tonight instead of setting my alarm and trying for it.

Between being exhausted by the Star Trek event and the busy week at work, I am no where near getting this skin for Peter. A timed mini event was a bad idea after such a long big event. I exhausted and this game is no longer fun.

13 blue, 14 fuscia, 22 green, and I’ve collected as soon as available. Just atrocious drop rates, and too few options for drops. Really questioning TinyCo’s model here. Same story every event…starts off absurd and is adjusted once the absurdity is mentioned…this one just has no time for adjusted drop rates.

So I need 3 more blue which should be fine But I also need 6 fuchsia and 6 green which means I have to go 6 for 6 for both between now and tomo (updating the game at 3am) in order to make it on time otherwise I won’t have enough.
I’ve been playing this event non stop checking in 10+ times per day and they REALLY need to adjust the difficulty levels for simple things like a costume. Its a cool costume and I want it but its wayyy to difficult and reliant on clams or good luck in order to get it.

I just finished Bird Beard Peter. Based the number of hours needed for the tasks for the rest of the two quest lines I won’t finish before the end of the event. I always hate to miss the dialogs but I’m happy to have the new skin.

Sorry, absolutely not directed you awesome people. Just sending frustrated thoughts to the sky as time limited quests have always had the limit displayed. I didn’t see it or forgot about the initial banner so didn’t know until today. Not that it would have made a lot of difference, there’s been a massive shift against freemium players lately.

Still need 9 fuschia and 4 green in my A game. My B game needs 6 blue, 7 fuschia, and 7 green. Definitely not looking good. Yet another event of nothing but fruitless grinding with no chance to do the questlines. I really hope we get a break before they throw another event at us. Since Star Trek started, I’ve been on every couple of hours (except for sleeping and the day I had to put my dog down).

Anyone else notice the description given for the mountain lion? It contains a certain four letter “S” word. How in the deuce did TinyCo allow that in the game? They could’ve used “poop” instead. I’m not offended by any means, just surprised its in there.

The last blue and green birds just dropped for me. Just need 3 fuca birds to complete BB Peter, so it seems doable. It was seeming impossible a day ago.

I need more ways to get the fuchsia birds in my game, I’m constantly playing, they just are not dropping. Just completed all the other colors, but still need 8 fuscias, not looking good right now… ughhh

I’m seeing a definite decrease in drop rate for green and fuscia today. Both colors were pretty much always produced before. Maybe The Great Algorithm God needs a sacrifice to win favor? I volunteer Herbert to jump into the animated volcano. Oh, wait, I need the perv for green birdies.
