Nature Week: Take 2

ADDITIONAL INFO: Was just updated on the missing Fire Academy, the next App Market update will correct this. I had also expressed to them last night about a counter for the Maple Leafs. They are also looking into that too. 😉

And just like that… they added one. WOOHOO!! 🙂

UPDATE: 1PM EST, TinyCo just updated me that the items continuing to drop from Mystery Box should be repaired now. So please force close the app and restart your device. Let me know right away if you still see the item (Hay Bale, Ball Gag, Etc) that you already have ALL collected so I can pass it on. Otherwise, you should now have the item gone once it is all collected (make sure you tap the check mark too.)

FYI: Hay Bale issue of too many/continuing to drop from Mystery Box already reported last night. Still awaiting response. In mean time, report the issue to TinyCo from your game.

Just keep collecting Pinecones until I can get a further update.

It seems UTTERLY impossible to go a week without something New hitting our games to keep us occupied. I just hope I don’t run out of CHEESEY lines while trying to keep up. I better MILK it for all it is worth. 😉

Got the idea yet? NO??!! Well let’s take a peek at just what this Mini Event is going to drop into our silly lil games this go round.

Just to make sure you are aware, this event will end…

THURSDAY, JUNE 4TH, @ 3PM PACIFIC TIME

You will need to be on at least District 3 with Al’s unlocked and Updated to Version 1.8.5 or higher in your App Market. (My Android is on 1.8.6.)

iOS 1.8.5 Update

Hey there Tribblemakers!

Bouncing by to let you know of an update we received from TinyCo. Wanted to pass it on just in case any of our readers here are facing this issue or run into later on. Green Apple

Here is the helpful information for iOS users TinyCo sent. Feel free to give the steps a try.

Hello! We’ve recently found the cause of a crash issue for iOS players on 1.8.5. A number of players who have failed purchases associated with their account have been crashing when loading the game. We’ve got a fix for this coming in the next app store update, but in the meantime please share this workaround with any players who may be coming to you for help.

1) Make sure the app is not running in the background. If it is, you will need to force close it.

2) Go into your device’s settings and enable Airplane Mode.

3) Start the Family Guy game.

4) Consuela will appear with a “Connect Error!” window. Do not press the retry button or close the app. Instead, allow the loading bar to fill up.

5) Once the loading bar is full, go back to your device’s settings and turn off Airplane Mode to restore your connection.

6) Go back to the Family Guy game and press the retry button or let the game reload.

You will need to follow the same steps each time you play the game.

PLEASE NOTE: If you attempt to make the same purchase that you made before you received this crash, the game will crash again. You will be able to purchase all other packages.

Let us know if this helped you with the issue. Also give them any feedback by contacting them through your game if you find a better resolution for the issue or run into anything else.

Star Trek Poll: Characters

Hey there Tribblemakers!

Over the next little while, we will be putting out various polls for a few Events. Star Trek being the first one. Please take a look at the polls and answer all the questions you can that apply.

Helpful Tips: In the Comments portions if the polls, be constructive in your responses as it will help us all overall as Players. Don’t just say something is wrong, explain WHY you personally feel it is wrong and WHAT you personally feel will make it better. What can they change and HOW. Keep it on point. Keep to the Addicts Guidelines. (Think of it as writing a letter to your boss.) We will be forwarding all those directly to them. As a Community, we can continue to work together to let our voices and thoughts be heard. 😉
