Hey there Mafioso!
So the New Event is now in our silly lil games and many of you are trying to figure out just HOW it all works. How do you locate the Leaderboard? See the End date? The Next Level?
As you look around the game, there are several Icons. Each one taking you to a separate area of information. In this post I will go over several of the Mobsters Event Icons and how they can help you.
With Multiple things going on in the game, it is good to have an idea where to look to get a little Extra Help.
COOKIE COUNTER
Up in the Top Center of your game, you will see the Gurl Scout Cookie Counter. This particular Counter will tell you how many Cookies you currently have available to use to purchase items in your game. It is also where you will see additional New Cookies add to when you complete tasks around the game that earn you Cookies.
DON CORLEONE ICON
This Icon will take you to the Main Event Screen of the game. Inside, you will be able to get a basic idea of everything currently going on within the game. Just tap through each Tab. The information tends to change on n off during Events, so check back each Week with the Newly Released items to see what changes are there.
Home Tab: This is the Main Tab in the Screen. Here you will see the Cookie Counter again, telling you how many Cookies you currently have available for use in the game. You will see the Countdown Timer letting you know when the end of the game is, down to the Day/Hour/Minute. The 3 other Tabs off to the side. The Basic Game Currency and Mob Rep Info. And “SWEET!” which tapping on will take you back to the game.
Star Tab: This is the “Featured” Information. Here you will see some Basic Info of Current Items you may be interested to know about in the Game. In this image, it is a Clam Cookie Generator and the Final Individual Leaderboard Prize.
Book Tab: This is the HOW TO PLAY Tab. It will give you a very simplistic version of the overall needs for the game. In this image, you will see it is simply telling you to get Fatfather, Get Goons, Get Cookie Trucks, and Get Awards. Lol.
Question Tab: This Tab is for Help and Support. If you need further information on Game Play and want to check out the FAQ directly from TinyCo, just tap on “Help & Support” at the bottom to take you to the FAQ for the Mobster Event.
TROPHIES ICON
Tapping on the Trophies Icon will take you directly to the Leaderboards and stats for the Prizes. Both Individual and Global. As there is a LOT more information involved in the Leaderboards, please see the Leaderboard Post HERE for more details and instruction.
EVENT AREA
During Events, there is a patch of Trees in the Right Center of your game that opens up to display interactive locations for the Current Event. In this case, the Mobster Event. Let’s take a look at the items there.
COPAHAVANA: Here is where you will go and Tap in order to be able to Hire and Release Goons into your Game. More details on the Goons For Hire HERE.
MANSION: Here is where you will be able to find information on the Weekly Releases of items into the game. Once you get to Mob Mentality Part 6, you will be asked to Upgrade the Mansion for the First Week. Just tap on the Upgrade Icon above the Mansion. Once done, you will see the PG Addition added to the top of the Mansion. Tapping on it now will give you and idea on the Next Release. In this image, you will see that it looks like Cleveland Jr will be joining our game along with some Luchador type Goons. You can also see the Countdown Timer that will let you know approximately when to anticipate the Next Weekly Content Release.
KINGPIN CONSUELA SAFEHOUSE: Shortly after Mob Mentality Part 6, you will trigger an additional Event Area. The Warehouse aka Kingpin Consuela’s Safehouse. There is a LOT more details on this in a separate post, so please Tap HERE.

Brian Statue: Not in use
Stewie Statue: Not in use
Fountain Area: Not in use

Ok actual question? I believe I accidentally upgraded the mansion and now instead of being able to go and do kingpin consuelas safe house for rep and stuff I have he casino. Did it really matter if i didn’t do more or was it just waiting till the next unlock which is the casino.
In any case curious if the casino event area is the current as I just got to it.

You want to move forward. You need to clear the Casino’s first raid in order to unlock many buildings you will need.

Hi bunny,is there a reason I haven’t had any cookie delivery trucks in my town for the last 7 hours,I have 12 goons ready to go but I haven’t had any purple cookie trucks for quite a while now?? Have you heard anything like this??

That I do not know. During Star Trek, the questline only impacted unlocking Characters. This Event… I do not know. My assumption is at LEAST to Part 6 Mob Mentality as that is when it asks you to Upgrade… but then again there is a pop up at Part 9 too. So won’t know til it goes live for sure.

Now up to 25 tries with mort and not a single dog food drop. Sent 2 in game messages to tiny co. Beyond annoyed

Try to hard close your game (see basic trouble shooting from the addicts if you don’t know how) If I’m having a particularly difficult drop rate, that often fixes it for me 🙂

I’ve sent about 10 messages to TinyCo about Mort’s drop rates over the last two days and the only reply was a few moments ago about crash fixes. I ended up using clams to finish the tasks until I got the Dog Food. Very frustrating.

I love that I’ve come to a full stop on the event tasks because all three require Diabeto. I understand that they want to slow people down, but at least have a throwaway line to make me feel like something is happening.

If I use the hats to claim an individual prize do they disappear or are they permanent?

It is a running total, so unlike in game currency (Cookies) used to “buy” items…. they will continue to grow and grow until the end of the Event. 🙂

they are moving Mort’s Pawtucket tasks by the 10th.
i didn’t have a problem with that, since i’m Done with the bushes and band members, and I’m really done with this crashing, but i am getting in every so often, if i keep poking it. and i’m kind pleased that my 1336 fedoras places me high enough, for now, on the LB. (still, how can someone have 12000?!?) hope it’s fixed soon.

I BRING NEWS!!! For those of you who don’t know, tiny co has said they are moving morts dog food task to another character due to player’s request because of the pawtucket item. Proving yet again tiny co does listen to us. They said it will be done before the end of today.

too bad i can´t even load the game any more. it crashes before the loading progress bar completes. that´s the first event for me where this happened. was just in the middle of my first safehouse raid, but now the game is screwed. even reinstalling didn´t help. i could get into the game once after reinstalling, now it´s back to crashing. and i got a nexus 4, so it´s not due to an old slow phone.

HELP! I had a situation earlier today where I was able to claim ALL of the individual prizes on the Leaderboard, including Consueala’s costume. I have NOT unlocked it. I didn’t do anything, I was playing on my iPad as usual. All of the prizes had the green “Claim” button. It seems like there was some sort of glitch, but none of my friends who play had it. I’m concerned because I don’t want to have a problem or worse, get banned. If I have to, I’ll send an in-game note to TinyCo, but wanted to check here first to see if anyone else has reported this glitch. Thanks.

I sure wish they would fix MORT’s item drop! I keep getting the cards for the Pawtucket Brewery instead of the Dog Food!!

They will not interfere with the Dog Food… just fill the empty space when it doesn’t drop. If you still feel it isn’t dropping as intended, please reach out to them.

It seems to me they did fix the drop rate for dog food. The first day i could send him 10 times before getting 1 bag but today so far I’ve gotten one every time. Although i don’t have Brewery drops so that could be helping things in my favor.

I got them just fine WITH Brewery drops. It is not an Always drop. So I just think it is a visual think. If someone sees nothing at all drop, then an occasional Dog Food… they see it differently then someone that sees Brewery items in those empty spots with Dog Food now and then.

uhm, i know this is not post relevant but i can’t get into my game for 2 days now.every time the bar on the splash screen goes full it crashes.i’ve already contacted tinyco support and no response whatsoever.i’ve tried restarting my device yet nothing.i just thought maybe,since they read stuff from here,they may give some notice and try to fix this.i have read the older post about game crashes but it was at the beginning of the event.and mine was fine then.

I hope he is too. I see a skin for him the event cart but if I can’t get it because I don’t have Cleveland, i’m going to be bummed :(. they already stole Cleveland out from under me when star trek event ended.
